I wrote it originally as a reply but noticed just before sending last reply itt was 6 years ago and my writing went so offtrack I thought this should have own thread. Thread of origin was zzz/res/2242 and tldr OP dreamed of having sex with somebody else while being in a relationship and some anons tried to brainwash OP to become bicurious and have a threesome and my reply goes like this >>/zzz/2260 >Trying to hold somebody you love back from discovering their true selves stopping someone from cheating is not an expression of a lack of love, but of basic self-esteem, without which I cannot imagine being an adult person. It's crazy to me how you sex-educated folk can "love and accept" your SO to the extent of ending your own relationship. I thought extraordinarily brilliant people lurk this imageboard but this reply is so fundamentally cuckold it seems like reddit with extra steps. I can't fathom why did nobody bring this up yet. It baffles me how many lainons itt thought having a mff in a relationship is added value. Is every relationship nowadays >open or am I tripping right now? If they all value ocasional threesomes so high why didn't anyone say OP should just sleep around yet? Second thing >>/zzz/2250 >Don't live a life of regrets. Regretting something never attempted is far worse than regretting a failure or a mistake. It baffles me how many anons itt do find having a mff as added value. If they value hookup culture so high why didn't any of them say OP should just sleep around to >find herself ? I don't understand why should people try new things no matter what even if they have gut feeling it would be bad for them just for it being A New Thing®. Btw justifying it by saying soykaf like this is the logic by which I judge the people I meet in my life. Yes, it is generalizing, but I've done it numerous times and to my lack of surprise those people would always turn around to have some embarrassing past and where too conceited in themselves to clearly say >I made a mistake, I shouldn't do this, if I were to met myself just before the act I'd hit myself in the face I'm looking forward to reading a reply of lainon who would prove me wrong and if that happens I'd want to voluntarily face all the consequences of generalizing. It just seems to me like people lost all modesty in these times and seem to feel like everything sex related should be tried before they die, whether they are in a relationship or not. After all every relationship nowadays is open unless stated otherwise right? Roast me if I am drawing too far-reaching conclusions from a few replies if linking were broken: https://lainchan.org/zzz/res/2242.html#2250

>>98117 I agree with you completely. People are way too eager to sully themselves with experimental sexual acts, and as for the reason why others encourage it; well misery loves company. I've known sooo many people to get goaded into trying stuff they were uncomfortable with and it has destroyed so many relationships, scarred so many minds. A friend of mine was convinced to have a foursome by his girlfriend with another couple and she cried after and left him. The truth is, polyamory doesn't really hold up because human beings are jealous creatures and love is best kept greedily and needily between two people. BTW the whole idea that if you have a dream about it you should do it is so fuarrrking retarded that it blows my mind. I've had dreams where i've raped close personal friends, i've had dreams where i've murdered innocent people, shot up schools, been a terrorist- and as excited or disgusted as i've woken up after i've never once thought "yeah that's something I truly want"
