Young men aren't dropping out of society. Women aren't whores and casual sex is rare. The vast overwhelming majority of men have had sex and girlfriends before. Virtually everyone has a job or is going to school to get a job. The economy isn't that bad compared to actual soykafholes. All races of people get along together perfectly fine IRL and nobody gives a fuarrrk about lighthearted race jokes. Racism largely is no longer seriously relevant anywhere. Communism and Fascism aren't real anymore. People still go places and have fun. The average person is not strongly opinionated, is largely passive and non-violent, and is content with his bread and circus (which there is plenty of)(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)

nice fantasy you've got there, buddy

Everything you said is true for where you live probably but not where I do in a major coastal city. Even then a lot of what you said is true and I get why you are saying it and you are right to say it but you are assuming your area is the norm whereas a lot of lainons live in cities similar to mine. Theres only two things I can factually say are not true (caveat being I know they probably are true where you live). >Virtually everyone has a job or is going to school to get a job I had a job, have some money now, quit job and am going to school just to learn even though I have a degree. Around a thirs of my classmates are in dire financial straits and are not going for a job but are hoping to make a connection or are just using this as a last hurrah because they truly see total economic collapse on the horizon and want to enter it doing what they love. I frequently also am having to help out close friends inbetween jobs or who are in the gig economy, I dont know anyone who couldnt get a job at all and went homeless so maybe thats a point to you. I havent had anyone I lent money to be "unable to repay me" in all but a few cases and in those cases I just never hounded them for it because something really unfair happened and I only wanted to see them survive. Still its not something I had to do at all like 7 years ago. >casual sex is rare It isn't here, ive partaken in it and so does everyone I know. I will say totally casual sex is a lot rarer than people make it seem, usually among people I know they are at least friends with the person they are having "casual sex" with. And if they arent and truly did just hookup 80% of the time it turns into some kind of friendship as one or the other person cant let go and the other person feels too guilty about "using" the other person for sex and playing with their feelings. Usually it is in fact the women, the idea that women are just out here fuarrrking and abandoning people is not the reality. They often try out doing that because a guy did it to them, and then realize they dont have it in them to play with their feelings like that. A lot of bitter guys who say their "ex" did do that often still got to meet up time and time again with a girl trying to hit it and quit it with them and they interpret this as "why is she messing with my feelings bro shes evil..." when really she just didnt have it in her to truly abandon the guy after and its only after he crashes out several times over it that she does. >communism and fascism arent real anymore communism is dead for now but fascism is simply taking on a new strange form. The historical Italian fascism is dead but something you could call fascism is very much alive and is simpatico with capitalism which I think is why you are saying fascism doesnt exist anymore because the old fascism was not neoliberal capitalism compatible and you are an enlightened individual who realizes all that is real is capitalism. What isnt real is "the revolution" or "the day of the rope" (yuck). But both projects play out and inform the desires of those in capitalism repeatedly and continuously and its why in part there is two disparate unreconciliable versions of america that somehow still coexist and capital is maintained all the same. I actually disagree with a lot of what you are saying, in my city racism is totally alive its just not always white vs black. Its often chinese and white vs black or white and mexican vs black or mexican vs white etc. But yes its not alive like how it is in the textbooks and its likely on the decline because even the new facism i mentioned is not as race focused as it or others think it is and just like to posit as such. I agree with the zeitgeist of what you are saying which is stop looking online to "get a pulse" cause no pulse is there and instead just look around you. Where you are and with who you are, which my best guess is you are white living in the american southwest or somewhere in europe, these are your observations. And no matter who and where you are if you look around you will find that people generally get along, in spite of what I said about racism still being alive people still so generally get along. Its rare some kind of racial disagreement escalates into violence here, more often than not people of all races help their neighbors. I almost dont want to send this to you because if you have the values that casual sex is a sin and that racism is "dead" and doesn't need to be fought against than maybe what im saying makes it sound like all the crap you read online about coastal cities is real ansdto be feared. But thats the thing, it isnt real where you are to you and whats important and pressing over here isnt gonna magically get exported over there if we all do as you are implying I think and focus on the problems around us in our communities and stop getting bogged down with media and news stories. I used to be a person who would shout at you for saying racism or fascism isnt real or alive and I strongly disagree still but I have no idea what your community is like so I cant speak to whats around you. And weirdly now more than ever im down to break bread with anyone who just wants to uplift and be in their community and stop feeding into this horror simulacrum that keeps us from focusing on the mouths to feed immediately around us.

>Bait used to be believable I agree with the sentiment though. People are too caught up on rising rates and miss the big picture. Sometimes we need to just introspect & chill (or at least netflix & chill).
Chan Siu Ming · 2026-03-25 01:23
my anecdotal experiences with people irl say otherwise, people really are more miserable and worried and economically precarious and socially isolated. lots of normal people openly express bizarre radical opinions that would've made diehard conspiracy theorists blush just 15 years ago. but i've lived in some pretty soykafty towns so maybe it's different where you're at.
XERXES · 2026-03-25 02:57
You own nothing and are happy. Everything is under control, your government is in charge there is no need to worry. Remain calm and keep consuming.

>>97204 >Young men aren't dropping out of society. Depends on what "dropping out of society" means. >Women aren't whores Some are, and that's okay. >casual sex is rare. It's very common actually. >The vast overwhelming majority of men have had sex and girlfriends before. Can't speak on that, but vast overwhelming majority is probably an overstatement. >Virtually everyone has a job or is going to school to get a job. Incredibly incorrect, unemployment numbers are actually an underestimation. >The economy isn't that bad compared to actual soykafholes. Wouldn't know, been dirt poor my whole life. >All races of people get along together perfectly fine IRL lol, fuarrrkin lmao, I'll even bust out a rofl for this one. >nobody gives a fuarrrk about lighthearted race jokes. >lighthearted >racist fuarrrk you. >Racism largely is no longer seriously relevant anywhere. I know four people who've participated in lynchings, again, fuarrrk you. >Communism and Fascism aren't real anymore. They're as real or unreal as liberalism and effect reality as ideologies. >People still go places and have fun. Who said they don't? >The average person is not strongly opinionated You're delusional. Silly, privileged, naive liberal, that's not even Zelda's canon drip.

>How DARE you imply that society isn't collapsing around me! I say in my air-conditioned room, with my powerful computing machine, while eating tasty food I can afford on my meager pay.
William Holtzer · 2026-03-25 19:23
>>97233 >powerful computing machine to do what with? >tasty food muh basic needs, but notice how you never said healthy as well unfortunately we're more than just basic needs and mindless entertainment, believe it or not. there are more indicative areas in society to display its gradual collapse rather than your immediate sensations
Mentat · 2026-03-25 20:44
>>97233 Thats whats allowed for this collapse, its not a total sum collapse although I know some here would disagree. One day, hopefully not soon, hopefully not ever, you will just be out of a job and unable to get a new one or pay for these things. Itl go little by little though so when it happens to you god forbid, maybe you have peak job security, itl just be the same old tale of someone losing their job and needing to put their nose to the grindstone if they want out of the mess. Except one day there will also be no "way out of this mess" on an individual level. By the time there is an issue to our ability to get food or power we will already have long dwindled and moved on this isnt a collapse in my opinion where any of these things will be directly "taken away" from you. Itl be like the sly turned red and the moon exploded and yet there really isnt anything we can do about that so we all just go about our lives for as long as possible trying to ignore it. Maybe better than a collapse id call it a cascade or something because we won't be in "post capitalism" itl just fall from the sky above into our lap. If you still have power and food and your work still has power and food you probably will go about your days same as always, like you are doing now! If you have friends even better. Thee elite liquidate asset owning middle class via insider trading or really just the banal fact that capital and the stocks ups and downs orbit the ultra wealthy at an increasing rate that a middling financial advisor can not keep up with or guarantee any longer that "the stock markets always up long term" even if it is. It still is but is increasingly not a valid promise of security regarding the middle classes few hundred thousands. They will likely see the writing on the wall and panic at the writing on the wall before anyone, hate to say it. Because yeah this is no traditional collapse, and to be frank if you are OP I still stand by you in that its not a collapse that has anything to do with partisian politics or peoples views on sex and its not because of our personal ideological disagreements and while I think fascism and racism are serious problems the crying and screaming that this era of capitalism we are in is "fascist" is a disservice to just how unique capitalism is. We easily could have had someone like mamdani run for president and get elected and while that would make me very happy and for me housing insecurity is a real likelihood in the distant future, capitalism would mold and shift to be forward facing "socialist capitalism" instead of forward facing "fascist capitalism". To get back on track if you have some middle class friends or trust fund friends (who a sizeable minority of which will not be having kids) its highly likely they cash out on their liquid assets within our life time, and decide what matters most is to "share the love" and I think that could jumpstart or at least keep alive an economy for us comparitively poors. Those of us without 10 million or more, which sounds like a very high ceiling but trust me maybe not within our lifetimes but soon enough you will have real trouble figuring out what the difference is between you and anyone in the tens of millions bracket or lower. Even landlording the favorite occupation of the almost almost wealthy is being overtaken by billion billion dollar companies, one day you and the person who shops at erewhon to avoid the poors will both be paying rent or at best a mortgage to greystar or black diamond or whatever the fuarrrk. Anyways you probably arent gonna buy any of this I just think if you are OP or at least you agree with OP on some level you look around and see a hyper reactionary world and you know its retarded. You know maybe the most ethical thing to do of anything right now is to not buy into the vitriol and hate and doomerism but also keep in mind people are individual pure beings who generally are doing what they think is right but collectively they are like a moldable fluid. What you are reacting against isnt individuals with a poor mindset its an outrage machine that makes a lot of money out of thin air. You wouldnt be needing to clarify this if it wasnt for the digital world and overload and commodification of every bit of information bo matter how insignificanf. If you somehow posted this up somewhere in a pre internet era no one would know why you felt a need to post it up. This negativity media cycle and information overload with everyone clamoring for more information thinking if they or others just knew a little bit more if they share that post about gaza something will happen all of that, and subsequently AI as a result having a place to feed from because of all this, its maybe the single biggest achievment of capital ever. Large sums of money and server farms are banking on this machines continued survival and engagement is vital to it and all of this engages. So if you are resisting it and saying focus on what you have whats around you whats real, in my opinion, thats a kind of anti-capital praxis you already are practicing whether you want to call it that or not. Which means on some level you must also see how its dangerous, and how it could lead to this collapse or "cascade" otherwise why not choose to believe everyone is hyper extreme to one end or the other and you have to pick a camp and advocate for it and everyones out to get you and the streets are overrun with harlots and the government is overrun with fascists and the educational system is overrun with marxists and yada yada. You know it isnt healthy, it isnt good for anyone mentally, im sure you know or have seen that whatever your moral or political mission in life that posting and sharing about it constantly has the opposite effect of just making it weak impotent and inneffectual. This is all to say you dont need to in reaction to the reactionaries decide absolutely nothings wrong when the times you are implicitly or explicitly rebelling against with this rhetoric are a byproduct of whats wrong (or you could say whats right).

You know, stuff you use a computer for. >but notice how you never said healthy as well healthy food is not unaffordable to me (below the poverty line btw). The fact that I don't eat healthy or exercise enough is a personal choice. >>97238 >One day, hopefully not soon, hopefully not ever, you will just be out of a job and unable to get a new one or pay for these things. Strewth. That's why I don't complain too much about the present and enjoy it while I can.

>>97204 yes OP please masturbate in front of the class more and regale us about how you grew up with two well-adjusted parents in a good middle class or upper class neighborhood with a functional school district. You may not be the statistic OP, but if you stepped outside of your bubble for a moment you’d be in for a rude awakening. Nothing ever happens types couldn’t be more removed from reality than ever before really.

>>97204 >>97204 >Young men aren't dropping out of society. I mean, some are but probably about as much per capita as have ever done so. >Women aren't whores and casual sex is rare. casual sex is very common among a large minority of the adult population. again some women are literally whores, walk down western in LA at 11pm you'll see many. But probably most women are not whores. >The vast overwhelming majority of men have had sex and girlfriends before. Yeah, so? >Virtually everyone has a job or is going to school to get a job. Yeah in most of the world adults have to work to survive >The economy isn't that bad compared to actual soykafholes. I mean, in a lot of soykafty, borderline 3rd world countries the economy is booming. It's more about the concentration of wealth among a few individuals causing a huge disparity. >All races of people get along together perfectly fine IRL and nobody gives a fuarrrk about lighthearted race jokes. Depends where you live and where you are- on a college campus... not so much, in a target or safeway, yeah probably most people. >Racism largely is no longer seriously relevant anywhere. W R O N G- Go on 4chan for a minute- it's a microcosm of the world where almost everyone states their true and honest thoughts >Communism and Fascism aren't real anymore.
