What was the weirdest thing to happen in your high school?

Faye Valentine · 2026-01-22 23:03
There was this very introverted 15 year old in high school who was a really big fan of Hannah Barbera cartoons. Looking back on it I think that he was probably on the autism spectrum, but I'm not sure. At some point he was mumbling and rapping to himself and he allegedly said "I'm in love with the Jetsons", and some other people heard and made fun of him for it. Since he was very weird people easily believed the exaggerated rumors that started about it, like that he wanted to marry Fred Flinstone. He got bullied over it to the point where in science class (a class which my friend was in at the time) some guy said "Yabba dabba doo!" and everyone laughed, which made the autistic kid extremely upset and he jumped out of the window, but it wasn't that high up and he fell in a tree, barely injuring himself. He either was transferred to a different school or went to a psych ward after that, it wasn't officially clarified.

I went to highschool in a very shady neighborhood so I have quite a few: - Muslim kid in my class tried to bomb some guy with firecrackers, nobody got hurt - In a fight some guy grabbed another guy by his leg and started spinning him around for around 10 seconds until he flung him, he surprisingly only had minor damages - There was a guy who had the potential to become the next Chris Chan, some guys larping as girls managed to make him shove an ice cream cone up his ass, play around with his soykaf while in the toilet, wear his moms' leg warmers and do random karate moves while naked. He ended up being known by the entire city for that - Some fat autist in my class pushed a guy to the floor and started repeatedly punching him until his nose got broken after he pressed random keys on his laptop (the autist later came out as trans while having a full beard and a really fat physique, he gave up on us calling him "she" after a few weeks) I'm sure there are more stories that I forgot about too
Acid Burn · 2026-01-23 07:53
>>96420 Forgot to mention those 2 - Some guy soykaf himself, he was wearing loose legwear and while he bent some people were able to see his ass smeared with soykaf - A girl threw up on a guy after eating McDonalds and the guy then threw up. He said he wasn't able to look at McDonalds ads without getting nauseous anymore lmao. Rumors said that she was drunk Also, I just searched up "leg warmers" and that wasn't what he wore, it was leggings. Really tight leggings.

>>96416 reminds me of an autistic kid I had to work with back in my substitute special education paraprofessional days who talked about nothing but Popeye and Warner bros, and Hannah Barbera cartoons all day and would sometimes start running around the school trying to contact warner bros staff when he got frustrated if you couldn't contain him. Still one of the highest functioning ones that could hold a conversation (for a short while) and quite harmless despite his size and hygenic so he was a relative blessing to look after compared to most. And he was quite knowledgeable about popeye

>>96422 Lmfao. This is the only one that got me. Best part is I love those cartoons too.

probably the principal banning going to the bathroom during lessons without a teacher or an assistant. that applied to us 18/19 year olds too. the only explanation i've heard was that domebody was selling kratom in there though i'm p sure that they can do that during breaks too lmao

Depends on what you consider weird. This isnt everything but... -One student was struck by lightning while mowing his lawn and survived. -I had a teacher that was that reportedly had been approached by the CIA to be an agent but he was dropped because he told someone about it. This guy liked to joke around a lot but he was incapable of telling a joke with a straight face so I think he was serious about this. He was approached because he had made various trips to South America and places like that. It also is amusing since he's quite tall so he would have stood out yet they still approached him. -One day I went to school. I was late, my mom had drove me there. The car was swarmed by a cop when I pulled up front and I was told I have to go to the caffeteria and wouldnt tell me what this is all about. Turns out everyone in the school was being held captive as suspects of a murder or something I assume because some student had shot himself in the parking lot in his car. Through the whole day teachers were instructed to not allow any students to use their phones and everyone had to get information from the outside through covert means while we were being left in the dark on why all these cops were there and why we were not allowed to leave the school. We only were allowed to leave the premise once the whole school day passed. -A teacher of mine had apparently said he had walked in on what was a guidance counselor at the school in his office fuarrrking a dead deer on his desk. He avoided speaking of it and students referred to it as "the deer story" only and he's like "nooo not that" whenever someone brings it up.

We had a bomb threat once where the "bomb" turned out to be a set of table legs taped together in the auditorium's storage room. Which took the cops an hour or two to figure out while we stood around outside in the cold the whole time. With me especially freezing my ass off since I was in gym class when it happened and didn't get any time to change out of my t-shirt and shorts. There was also one time where a guy hijacked the PA system just to say "attention all teachers: suck a dick." Speaking of which, one year they had the morning announcements ran by a student who'd sign off every single day with "and remember: knowledge. is. college."

>>96451 Reminds me of the time a buddy of mine deleted all of his absences after pwning a teacher's phone and he had to act like it was a bug that deleted his absences this whole time lol. He had like 600 absences that just disappeared with no trace one day

>>96451 I had similar happen at my elementary school a pipe on the playground. We also had a lock down in middle school because a meth lab was in the neighborhood and they were afraid it would blow up.

Oh man there were so many. That one time a kid brought a whole steak in to class and was eating it while the teacher was talking. Eventually the teacher stopped and told him to stop, but he ignored her. He started chewing louder. It was really gross but so funny. When it became clear he wasn't going to respond to threats she started begging. By the end she was literally sobbing and begging this kid go stop, but he was smacking on his steak so loudly it was barely audible. When he was done he sat back and burped so fuarrrking loud, then said "Ahhh, just like-a my mama used to make". The teacher was so humiliated, all the kids were laughing at her, that she killed herself. It was so funny.

>>96451 atually that reminded me of something. basically all of the high schools in my region got bomb threats and ppl were still pretty shook from a recent shooting so all schools shut down. all except one. good on our principal for calling the bluff i guess

>>96416 The weirdest thing was when I did not have to deal with ghetto gorillas or person whose company I enjoys. I also did not have to deal with pretentious and self-righteous indoctrinators that are the public school teachers. A good day was never the normality.

A case of oxymoron trolling by classmates - not weird anymore but weirded me out... A case of my classmate telling lots of lots of sleazy jokes - opposide gender specimen was into me, though there was no chance we could be together (very strict mother). I don't know, I think there wasn't really much "weird" weird stuff, just the stuff I failed to understand back then.

this was middle school not high school, but i had a p.e. teacher who was this big fat bald middle aged man with glasses and he would sit in his office that had a big window facing the boy's locker room and just glare at the boys while they undressed. you couldn't see what he was doing behind his desk but several people said that he looked like he was masturbating. when i and some other kids got sick of it and started changing in the restroom instead of the locker room he became enraged and screamed at us and said that he have to change in the locker room and that if we went into the restroom to change where he couldn't see us we would get an office referral. a couple of the kids did get an office referral and they tried complaining about him to the principal but she would become irate and accuse them of lying or exaggerating and berate them saying "that is is a very serious accusation, don't EVER accuse a teacher of something like that, this is not a joke this is serious" and they would try to reason with her and assure her that they weren't kidding about this but she just refused to listen. i tried telling my mom about it and she said the same thing, told me i was exaggerating or that i must have been misinterpreting what i saw, that there was no way a school would hire someone like that. it was like an open secret that this p.e. teacher was a pedophile, kids would talk about him all the time but nobody would actually do anything about it, teachers would just be like "ok that's enough, that's not funny, don't joke about things like that." one time i was talking to my older brother, who is ten years older than me and went to the same middle school, and i mentioned the coach and he was like "oh that creepy fat guy who likes to watch the boys undress? he's still working there?" apparently this was an ongoing thing for over a decade and still nobody would do anything about it, there was never an investigation, nothing. i was 11 years old and i learned at an early age that there really is no law and order in the world, there's no morality, nobody really cares about what's right or wrong, not really. at the end of the day, people just want to mind their own business and go to work and come home and not have to deal with any other hassles, people live in their own private little worlds and they would sooner let kids be sexually abused for years and years and just put it out of their minds than have to face an unpleasant reality.

>be at gym hall for final exams >final exam was a dance session where you could put your own music in those big ass 90s black loudspeakers >exam's done and we're just chilling >some students hooked a phone up to a set of speakers and were playing roy jones, can't be touched >i know that song because i used to gun down pirates and pretend i was doing drive by shootings in far cry 3 >go check it out while mumbling along soykaftily >this girl turns around and says OMG! you know roy jones? >in hindsight she was probably heavily into me for years >starts talking to me >ok foid >since i'm wearing sunglasses i decide to stare at her bare feet the entire time >soykafs cash >she goes quiet and walks off >go home and realize my sunglasses are seethrough yeah

>>96416 i watched a kid eat a turd out of a toilet once. he threatened to do it again if we didn't flush
Zhora · 2026-06-22 03:13
one day upon entering the toilet i saw the wall was fully smeared with soykaf. what's funniest about it is that before i witnessed it there was a legend in my school that someone smeared the toilet wall with soykaf. so apparently this was a recurring occurrence in my school, appearing like some ghost to only a few. was i believed when i shared the news with everybody? well, those who followed me into the toilet did. but the rest didn't. and yet, the legend of soykaf wall lived on. some thought i was the culprit. understandably so, since it could be interpreted as an artist trying to share his masterpiece. for some reason, i have a strange memory of doing the deed of smearing. but i think it was a dream. it feels like a dream. or maybe i was possessed by the ghost of the soykaf wall? it could be that each time i shat in the school, the school walls were beckoning me to uphold the tradition. i couldn't say no, being persuaded by the collective unconscious will of my school peers, embedded in the colossal concrete structure that was enclosing me on all four sides.

>>97422 this is unfortunately like a universal experience in america at least. Our highschool had one masturbator (not to students he was just watching porn but we could all see thru the window) and then actually a female pe teacher who was fuarrrking students. My girlfriends highschool had a guy pe teacher who was fuarrrking and then left his wife to marry said student when she finally turned 18. My roomate she had a pe teacher who would add students on snapchat including her and ask for photos of them naked. In all of these instances theres like literal evidence its not just cause like oh creepy pe teacher lets make up soykaf. Half the time they arent creepy and thats what helps them get away with it. Especially in small towns theres still this bunk logic that a pedophile is some special type of super predator born a pedophile who cant control themselves rather than someone who just chooses to hurt children because they are easy targets. So if the pe teacher looks above average and has a family the go to is "he has a wife and kids he wouldnt do that!", when whether he can get it up for his wife or whether he hurts his own children or not does not clear them of being able to sexually abuse kids (in the face of evidence that they are).

>>97422 >>99851 And the same people will say "conspiracies are impossible, no one can keep a secret" while they constantly scream shut up at anyone attacked by evil.
Delilah · 2026-07-15 09:56
>>99871 no man different people. im assuming you think im liberal or if not me by "same people" you are talking about liberals. I am left and when pizzagate soykaf was going down I didnt think it was not real cause "conspiracies are impossible" I just didnt think the narrative and details were right but I had no doubt and had always thought that yes the ultra rich and elite probably totally abuse and traffic minors, among a million other things. The nature of being that wealthy in america creates a person who does not face consequences and sees themselves as above others, its like a recipe to create a class of people who continuously escalate and seek out and prod at more awful or forbidden and illegal things. You get away with stealing a buck from moms purse you are gonna try to take 5 next time, thats these peoples whole life. So what conspiracy is my thing, we see how these people get away with awful soykaf and all know eachother and we know they are in politicians pockets and we know that america holds up the CEO as an example of a perfect "go getter" american and we know that you cant be a billionaire ceo without doing awful soykaf and escaping the consequences of it your whole career and we know that kind of rearing breeds very demented people. So at that point its not a conspiracy that you have to uncover its just american culture, in the history books it wont be written as a rare offshoot or cabal of american billionaires or whoever you think it is, it will be written matter of factly as something very common among the ultra wealthy. "It" being child abuse, trafficking, rape, murder for fun, whatever horrors a human can imagine that could provide a sense of power over someone. The people who recognize this kind of rampant sexual abuse and harassment in america are not the libs who reactionarily deny any and all conspiracy theories because they fell for the psy op of trying to turn conspiracy theories into an "alt right thing". The people who recognize it only disagree with it being a rogue conspiratorial element of america, instead seeing it as a more fundamental problem that inevitably arises when the CEO of amazon can in this bizarre abstract sense have more wealth than many countries and operate and fly to any of them on a dime and literally work against the people of the country he spawned from's interests and have the government of that country back him because our dollar is more tied to amazon and other multinational businesses than it is to our country. All this culminating in people who are more powerful than and could ruin many countries, a conspiracy then at that point is only natural. Again we only disagree in that in my head you can uncover all the conspiracies you want we could throw all the pedophiles and evildoers in jail, without a reform to the system these things will keep happening because its whats rewarded and encouraged by said system. at this point if im getting where your coming from right id be down to even just say "your so right i was so wrong to not believe q-anon/pizzagate/whichever" if it just means we can stand together against this what you probs see as an elite cabal and id call all of americas ultra wealthy. I can only speak for me truly, but i do have a lot of politically active friends and everyone else I know too (all left/not hyper conspiratorial) also hated it and saw it as extremely grim when libs and moderate republicans started to willingly pin any accusation (no matter how true) hurled at the elite as conspiratorial nutjob crap. And me and everyone id call a friend when the qanon and pizzagate soykaf was popping off werent upset at that idea, it was just we realized that these conspiracies were likely a psy op to make any accusation or leak of what the ultra wealthy were doing politicized and part of this culture war. To precisely prevent a unified front against it and muddy waters. Yap yap yap sorry im sort of assuming a lot and going on a limb here my point is no matter where you stand or what conspiracies are your thing; I promise you my post and other posters post describing creepy rapey soykaf coaches did and how simultanelusly normal but also under the rug it is in the US are not coming from people who also told you to shut up or whatever when you were saying I think americas elite and those at the top are trafficking minors. Its easy to lump people together online but in my opinion if you see a glaring idealogical contradiction its probably because your preemptively shuffling too many people into whatever camp you see as the outgroup before you really know their side.
