Divorcing a lainpilled schizo

Roy Batty · 2025-11-25 20:57
I married the woman of my dreams, then she turned out to be legitimately paranoid schizophrenic and now, due to how her mental illness has impacted me, I have no choice but to protect myself via divorce. Feels like soykaf.

>>95266 >abandoning your wife in her time of need >>expecting lains to give you sympathy for this >>>cursed dubs

Okay. Sorry that happened to you.

>>95267 When sbe throws away her medicine, refuses treatment, abuses me, puts me into debt because she won't work for the last 2 years, and throws away my things including irreplaceable heirlooms from my parents, yeah I am out. Who wants to be yelled at every day for two years and have someome demand you go into debt to buy them marijuana when they show no fuarrrks about you and try to isolate you. She yells at me for talking to anyome outside of work including my family.

>>95272 But my point in all of this is, I have tried for the past two years. I love her, I want what is best for her, but I can't keep letting her harm me. Either I continue being abused and she has a meal ticket and I drown in debt or I get out of this marriage, get my life back on track, and she is on her own. She has no living family and she chose to cut all tied when we moved across country. She wants me to do the same but all that does is isolate me so she can abuse me more. So she may end up homeless because I am moving away without her. I will probably pay for the lease we are on and give her money for food, but everyone I have spoken to, even a mentally ill cousin said I need to get out of this marriage

>>95272 >She yells at me for talking to anyome outside of work including my family. Why? Is she under the impression that these people are trying to 'sabotage' your marriage? Have you talked to a lawyer yet?
John Titor · 2025-11-26 00:10
Yeah divorce as soon as possible. Shit's just not worth it.

Perhaps you tried too hard to convince her she is mentally not well. Id suggest watching this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXxytf6kfPM Have you asked her how the medication makes her feel? Antipsychotics are pretty awful mostly and best used to treat initial psychosis then see where it goes from there. How long has she been like this? Is there a history of drug use other than just cannabis? Any deleriants? Is this for sure paranoid schizophrenia and not something else? Does she have any symptoms not mental and what about yourself? Has she been like this since before you were with her or did this develop later? Do you have contact with any family or any long term friends of hers to verify anything? Have you told her how you feel when yelled at in a careful phrasing to not give a chance for hostility and try to explain why you dont have the money and how that would effect both of you? Are you yelling at her too or trying to be calm even if she is being irrational and hostile?

>>95281 >are you sure it's paranoid schizophrenia Second this could have been an organic disease (e.g. poisoning / brain damage from falling of a tree / eating botched SOY food / other stuff in water )

>>95272 > When sbe throws away her medicine, refuses treatment Honestly, that soykaf is so ass there's nothing wrong about this attitude. Literally the worst kind of meds in existence. Antipsychotics make me feel like I didn't sleep for a week, even just standing on my feet is a struggle. I would pick being psychotic 24/7/365 over taking that soykaf ever again. >>95282 > could have been an organic disease (e.g. poisoning / brain damage from falling of a tree / eating botched SOY food / other stuff in water ) Could also be bad marjijuana, they treat it with whatever soykafty chems to make it more addictive/potent and it can really fuarrrk up your health. And I think some of those crooks might treat sativa with chemical stimulants actually, which is extremely soykafty especially for mental disease. I think for schizo it's best to get indica and avoid sativa, because the first one is relaxing and mellowing out, while the second one is stimulating, and is more prone to be chemically treated, and can make existing psychosis worse. Anyway, I personally think it's 100% possible to relapse from most soykafty paranoid symptoms without any meds at all, but it requires a lot of effort from the struggling person itself because it's literally impossible to observe all nuance of what's going in ones head externally. I personally feel like I rewired my brain responses to most of psychotic triggers, like I still get a soykaf ton of bad synchronicities/etc, but they don't start long painful sequences of paranoid delusions, I simply mentally supress inference of further thoughts in sequence and switch to something else.

>>95272 >>95273 lain this is the context we needed in the OP to have any sort of discussion this context being provided, i'd say you should try to talk to her about how she is making you feel, and if it doesn't work, move out (no divorce yet) for a while and see if that wakes her up to how serious things are you can always divorce her later, but you can't easily undivorce / un-homeless / etc. her
