Is astral projection real?

The Fin · 2025-10-22 10:20
I recently watched this video of an ex Satanist describing how they met the devil and was told to tempt Christians into sinning. Is there any merit behind these claims? I also know that the CIA declassified remote viewing. Is astral projection also under the same scope? https://rumble.com/v5nd1z8-ex-satanist-that-projectioning-christians-in-astral-projection-tells-how-we.html https://www.cia.gov/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP96-00791R000200180005-5.pdf

There are 2 different phenomena. The first involves your consciousness forming a new body that functions similarly to your biological body and is often experienced by people on the verge of death. The second is a special type of dream some people learn to invoke. Both exist and can be called astral projection, thus real… But only the first one can be used to interact with the real world, while the second is as reliable as a regular dream.
Moony · 2025-10-22 11:04
From what I understand from the Satanist I've met is that they are deeply in love with the emotion of fear. So they naturally like to stir things and put themselves in danger. It's possible that a lot of them are suffering from depression and so being in danger forces an emotion and they love that.

As for demons existing, late christian fantasies about an omnibenevolent god creating omnipotent demons and sending them to trick mortals so that he has a slightly better excuse for sending said mortal to Hell are obvious bull, but some spirits being mischievous or evil like how some humans are is perfectly possible.
Agent Richard Gill · 2025-10-22 12:16
>>94465 >but some spirits being mischievous or evil like how some humans are is perfectly possible. So you believe in demons but not God. That's fine, but what would you say is the solution to being possessed by one or spiritually attacked? What if someone astral projects into your body? What if a demon tries to tempt you into something you wouldn't normally do? And what about spirit conjurers or witches? Do you think it is possible for someone to cast a demon into someone else? What about communicating with demons and spirits? Is that also possible? Are there any repercussions to doing that? Should we do that?
Just another Random Lainon · 2025-10-22 13:37
>>94466 I'm not convinced people possessed by demons aren't just schizophrenics. There were like... 10 people in the past 100 years who got forced to live in someone else's body. Some of these cases are relatively reliable, so possession should be technically possible. But. From what I know, when dead people attempt to interact with the living... It usually results in a complete failure, as in nothing happens. Sometimes in a partial failure, as in the living person sees a dream about this failed interaction when they go to sleep. Success is extremely rare. Not counting the common phenomenon of a vision shared between the dying person and their relatives/friends since the dead have no control over this. So, reasonably, people who lucked into encountering a friendly spirit might exist/have existed, but I doubt such cases have ever been common or that such agreements last. What to do if possessed? Providing you're absolutely sure it isn't a mental illness, I have no clue, really, but you should realize that you're in a spirit vs spirit situation, so try doing something, maybe? Or find a church that deals with such cases to turn it into 100 spirits vs 1... the believers might even manage to summon someone competent with luck. As far as I know, there don't seem to be any repercussions, and, imho, scientists are more reliable and have managed to learn in the past several decades much more than priests and magicians got in centuries, so I wish more people would dedicate their lives to researching such elusive phenomena...

My genuine take even though I do have religious and little mystical beliefs is in this "astral projection" state things are as you want them to be, the bar for what passes muster is significantly lower. IE if i astral project and say even the basic thing many experience where im flying around my house or maybe even outside and flying over my city, if in that moment I wasnt in such an altered state I might realize as im flying over my city that im actually flying over my brains amalgamation of multiple different cities and skylines. I might realize as im flying around my house that much of it is severely off. Between a lot of tripping and a lot of sleep paralysis over the years what ive realized is that regarding dreams, astral projection, visions, etc. There is a phenomena to factor in that isnt often, which is that information being real or true is actually distinct from it feeling convincing or real. A dream can evoke the sentiment that whats happening "feels real" in the moment, and when you wake not in that altered state you think about details and go ah wait no that wasnt real it was a dream. But occasionally this is what happens, you have a dream or enter a meditative state where you astrally project and some insane truth is revealed to you, but you forget the details upon exiting this state, so all you are left with is this sense that some truth has been revealed and with none of the details to discredit it with. Alternatively sometimes the details are there and the ones you remember all feel real, and this is often how false memories are created or you have some dream you wake from and wonder if it was a flashback, was I maybe molested by that relative? Was that a dream? Therapists are often wary to dig too much into "suppressed memories" or dreams for this reason, there is ethical questions of if you are potentially ruining someones life and family making them think their dad touched them when he really didnt. Theres other questions too about whether the person is in a state to handle that information if it is real, but this is one of them ive directly heard from a therapist that I kind of grilled on the why's. Moving on from this have you ever been around someone who never grew out of ghost stories and stories of demons and angels? I was with one for 4 years, she would be fully convinced and react and move through life as if these things were really there. If gods and demons and angels rule your mind they rule your world, and subsequently rule your actions, and subsequently if im living with you they rule my reactions to you. This means real or not for 4 years I didnt just live with someone ruled by these things I lived in a house ruled by these things, when I arrived home for all intents and purposes I was now in a space where the supernatural happened all the time. If an ex satanist really believes he met the devil and was told to tempt christians into sin, he is truly an agent of the idea of the devil in my view even if I dont believe in said devil. You know how its often stated not to interact with a schizophrenics delusions, not even to try and "disprove them"? We all know this is because even arguing with a delusion still feeds into it, it legitimizes it as something that can be proven or disproven and counterintuitively further grounds it and leads to the creation of more rationale for its existence in the delusional person. They already have that thing i talked about earlier where feeling wise it "feels real" and that mysterious unnamed feeling of being convinced in its reality is there for them (faith i guess but of a much stronger more concrete kind than most talk about), so any discussion at all about it negative or positive just integrates the delusion in the world more because the person is working backwards from "its true". For a final little thought experiment imagine if we didnt have this hard known rule about not asking questions or debating schizophrenics telling you they need your phone because the cia is raping them with invisible men. Instead everyone thinks he is on to something, some argue and debate and some believe it and ask questions. He says stuff like "god wants us to dismantle the CIA" and he really believes that and these people believe in him and start attacking the CIA in whatever ways they can. You are sitting there screaming like how can anyone believe this guy what the hell is going on hes clearly delusional, and yet now at this point the CIA is legitimately targetting this guy and they can all point to some firebomb retaliation and say see he was right the CIA is trying to rape him. Its not just some hocus pocus belief makes it stronger egregore "chaos magik" way that things like demons and gods end up actually having influence on reality, its through people as their agents. People have the ability to stand and act for ideas and when enough people are engaging with an idea it to some degree is really real and really has an effect even on people who dont believe in it. If everyone believes the schizophrenic cia man it isnt just that his delusions get worse its that his delusional reality starts to be the real reality. When he hears god telling him to do something he tells it to his believers and it really ends up happening, and more and more people start to react and respond to his hallucinations and maybe even share in seeing them. Its not that people in highly religious communities or at highly religious points in history especially are lying in a deliberate sense when they talk about seeing angels and miracles or whatever, its that these things completely shape their reality and interpretation of whats in front of them and they really did exist in a different collective reality from the one we do today. Mayan art depicting some event where a giant serpent god came down probably was not just artistic license but something they really felt and saw happen. That might sound crazy but most of us have the luxury of existing in a reality ruled by pure sense experience first and interpretation after, that isnt always peoples reality not even our own in small ways often.

>>94470 Im not sure if your misreading my post or im misunderstanding because this isnt really important to my point. I could replace the cia bit with just "bad things are happening to me because of some insidious outside force" and what im trying to illustrate is still there. Id say "my point" is still there but that little segment isnt about a point im making its just about how if enough people feed into someones delusions said delusions cease being delusions not just in some metaphysical "my personal reality" way but sometimes in literal material ways which always have a rational explanation of course that isnt "woah our thoughts directly become reality" but it can be very roundabout. Its not directly addressing anything in OPs post but its about a way of thinking about these things that could address OP's post. I honestly forgot mid typing that the OP even mentioned the CIA.

>>94491 >>94470 Also an addendum to my post above is that I agree with you, thats part of my first point that imagination fills gaps in understanding. That "astral projection" I think involves a lot of filling in gaps, the things people see and the places they go not really being as vivid or accurate as they assume in the moment but are being made so in memory.

>>94467 >I'm not convinced people possessed by demons aren't just schizophrenics How come? In a world where people deny even the very existence of demons, if they exist, don't you think it would be really hard to find a working solution to casting it out? You don't even have to be religious, I think it's pretty stupid to deny the very existence of evil spirits and what they're capable of. But most people do that. Isn't it ignorant to think that the only world that exists is the material world? I'm not saying that every supposed schizophrenic is suffering from demonic possession but in a world where most people, particularly those meant to help schizophrenics, are making assumptions based off what they observe solely in the material world, how can someone who is labeled as a schizophrenic for thinking they have a demon in them, and actually having one, receive help? With psychiatric medicine? Because that's our only cure for a scenario like that right now. >From what I know, when dead people attempt to interact with the living... It usually results in a complete failure You're forgetting the capabilities of Ouija boards. Or the stories of Jesus interacting with demons in the Bible. and I'm sure the malefic people who do communicate with spirits for the purposes of causing harm don't make it known to the general public. We live in a world where the Witch Trials were a thing. And we can talk about that by the way. Because I think there was at least some merit behind those that claimed people were witches. I'm sure there was crossfire between innocents but in a world where spirituality has become denigrated, how are we to scientifically approach things like spirits and those who are spiritually attacked? How are we to even prove that it's happening when everyone is so quick to think it is a mental illness?

>>94519 >How come? Most possessed act like a sick person incapable of understanding what they're doing, not a powerful being with an agenda. Mental illness is as fine an explanation as any... >You're forgetting the capabilities of Ouija boards. As far as I know, it significantly increases your chance to guess things you might know... And have no effect on your ability to guess things you can't know. Which makes the psychological explanation more likely? >how are we to scientifically approach things like spirits and those who are spiritually attacked? The most prospective direction is out-of-body experience during near-death experience during medical operations, as of now. As medicine keeps improving, our ability to monitor the body of the patient will keep getting better as well. The number of survivors will keep growing too. So, figuring out how to trigger the phenomenon feels like a question of time. And once we can generate ghosts whenever we want, at will... Well. Attempts to build a model of the human brain after failing to do the same with much simpler animals… I'm doubtful. There also was a novel technique for inducing a special state that might let people communicate with the dead… But not enough information to know if it works for real… I should check if anything changed, probably.
XERXES · 2025-10-24 11:29
>>94522 >Most possessed act like a sick person incapable of understanding what they're doing, not a powerful being with an agenda. I disagree. Isn't "mental illness" at an all time high? Even the most sane, normal people are getting diagnosed with mental illness. And the health industry is profiting off it like nobodies business because nobody actually knows what's going on. They're just making assumptions based on what they see. But what if the problem isn't themselves? What if there are more satanic cults other than the one mentioned in the video (there most definitely are, this isn't even a question) that are working to bring dread to the general public? Shouldn't we deal with that somehow? Video from OP attached btw. >As far as I know, it significantly increases your chance to guess things you might know... And have no effect on your ability to guess things you can't know. Why do you think Christians are so against communicating with spirits even though Jesus has communicated with evil spirits? It's because we as humans aren't competent enough to communicate with them. Most of us aren't holy enough to not get spiritually attacked by them. And on top of that, most people who do use Ouija boards, or even communicating with spirits in general, are likely the same ones using it for malice. Satanists, like the one mentioned in the video. In my opinion, the antithesis to Satanism is religion. But more precisely, Christianity. Catholicism is the only religion in the world that are working to scientifically examine demons. >The most prospective direction is out-of-body experience during near-death experience during medical operations, as of now. I sort of agree. Although I'm not too familiar with it. Maybe the CIA will release documents regarding astral projection in the future. Remote viewing is more than likely affiliated with it. And it's already declassified.

Sects of Satanic cults are currently operating through encrypted channels on Telegram. There have been news reports indicating that they groom children to harm themselves, dox their families, and coerce them into killing their pets, among other things. These cults are decentralized, which complicates efforts to identify their activities. If Satanism has moved into the digital realm, what can be done to protect our children? These groups claim expertise in the occult, witchcraft, networking, and systems. They may encompass both foreign and domestic terrorists. How can we safeguard ourselves from them? If astral projection is indeed real, is anyone truly safe from their influence? How can we be sure they aren't already affecting government, big tech, big pharma, big agriculture, big real estate, or big media? How can we be sure they aren't already using imageboards like these?

>>94545 I came across awful stuff and awful people on the internet when I was a child but were never harmed by them. Can you guess why? My parents sat me down and educated me about the dangers of the internet before giving me my first PC. I am yet to be doxed and brought zero harm to myself or people close to me after two decades on the net. Children can be protected by education. Children can also be locked in cages and not be left out until they turn 18 lest they browse 4chan or something. Will you treat your child like a retard, or will you teach him/her not to trust strangers and how to stay safe on the internet? As for your last question, indeed, cognitive security became a new and real frontier for anyone concerned with keeping themselves safe online. I gradually decreased the time I spend on the internet and read books instead of browsing social media. That helps a lot.

It's incredibly grim, and the most egregious people take advantage of it. And what if these people aren't just going after children but also >you. What countermeasures is there for something like that?

>>94554 That's a parenting failure. There are parental controls on every device sold in every store. Hell, there are simple parental controls on Linux. What seems to be the issue is that parents don't want to do parenting and let iPads distract their children so they can sit on the couch and watch TV. If a child is harmed by what they see, government initiatives could restrict content and implement age verification on the internet, so parents can keep not parenting and not educating their children because that requires effort. Maybe a better solution would be to criminally charge parents for neglect if they don't set up parental controls on their children's devices. They love government regulation, right?

Maybe more government regulation is the only solution to this dystopian, literal hell. >>94559 >If a parent fails their kid, then it's just a rip bozo situation. Survival of the fittest, right? But what scares me the most is the amount of information these people possess. They operate like a criminal organization. Everything they do is methodical. They seem to target the most vulnerable. They kill, extort, dox, of course. But they also have their own form of intelligence gathering. If they are astral projecting methodically, think of all the information they are receiving. They get to know their targets before they pick and choose their victims. Now if they're being smart about it, they can easily recruit new members via this method. And just how far does this ability go? Because in the video, it sounded like she was able to astral project into people's bodies and influence if not control their actions. Think of how easy it would be to influence not just world government, but society as a whole with power like that. It is important to recognize that astral projection is just one piece of the puzzle. What people need to realize is that the occult is no joke. It's not some made up bullshit. It's not all fairytale. It's real. And the sooner people recognize that, the sooner they know the enemy. And that's only half the battle.

>>94587 >If something like remote viewing is real and there is documented sources by intelligence agencies regarding it To be fair, the quality of the research done by intelligence agencies is so low it can't really prove or disprove anything. And experiments done by human scientists only proved people and other animals tend to become subconsciously aware of events they care about. So, the possibility of learning something like remote viewing isn't exactly proven as of yet; not a single human capable of consciously learning what's inside a closed box with 100% accuracy exists. Many people only take remote viewing with any degree of seriousness because of other phenomena pointing to the possibility of its existence.
