right now, a large number of humans are undergoing significant and rapid personal evolution - a larger number than this world has ever seen before. things can be very difficult for those undergoing this process. the most readily apparent and potentially problematic changes that such people will face are due to a dramatic increase in the amount of information they will begin to perceive. this takes time to adapt to. they will begin to notice a marked increase in the frequency of the appearance of double meanings and apparent hidden messages, not just in media they consume, but also in the course of everyday life. they will also begin to experience synchronicities far more frequently than they had previously. because this can be a major change to the way a person experiences the world, it can be extremely disorienting and unsettling. as a result, it is quite common to develop certain paranoid beliefs in an attempt to explain these seemingly inexplicable changes to one's perception. often, such beliefs are along the lines that one is experiencing a strange kind of long-term harassment perpetrated by nefarious forces, be they human or otherwise. experienced psychedelic drug users generally have less of a problem dealing with these changes, because these kinds of unusual perception are more familiar to them. however, the fact that they begin to experience these kinds of perception even when not using psychedelic drugs can lead them to believe that their mind or nervous system has become damaged, and that they are suffering from long-term negative side effects of psychedelic use. in fact, the opposite is true. psychedelic drugs are in many ways comparable to a kind of growth hormone. the minds of many users of psychedelic drugs for one reason or another never develop beyond a certain stage, but for those whose minds do develop sufficiently, psychedelic drugs eventually become superfluous. in the most favorable cases, some people can accept these kinds of unusual perception without much difficulty at all. this is particularly likely if they began to experience these kinds of perception at a young age, and they were raised in an environment where the people around them were not prejudiced against a belief in supernatural phenomena. even in these cases though, the dramatic increase in the frequency of such perceptions can still be unsettling. people who are used to such perceptions often interpret them as attempts at communication from non-human entities, and this is generally quite accurate. indirect and highly symbolic forms of communication are usually easier for the transmitting entity, but more difficult for the receiver to interpret in a way which reflects the intended meaning of the transmitter. as one's mind develops, such entities will begin to be able to communicate in far more straightforward ways. that doesn't mean that one will stop experiencing double meanings, hidden messages and synchronicities though. rather, they will generally indicate something different. the cosmos is a single interconnected system. the belief that one may have, that they are a separate thing from the external world, either physically or mentally, is false. in the same way that one can never completely control or permanently own the physical objects they regard as theirs, one can never completely control or permanently own the thoughts they regard as theirs. the cosmos possesses an inherent computational power. we refer to it as the "ambient mind". what one usually thinks of as "my mind" is not something separate from that ambient mind, but rather it is a localized concentration of this inherent computational power of the cosmos. as that localized concentration of computational power expands, it becomes clear that the mind one formerly considered to belong only to themselves is an inseparable part of something bigger. this is the main reason why one will begin to notice double meanings, hidden messages and synchronicities far more frequently. as one's awareness grows, one will begin to perceive far more information, and a far greater number of patterns in that information, than they had previously been accustomed to. one reason this can be so unsettling is that, initially, there is a high rate of false positives. there seem to be patterns everywhere, they all seem meaningful, and they all seem personally relevant. though it takes time for the mind to learn to discern what really is meaningful and personally relevant, it will eventually get to the point where it takes no effort at all to ignore double meanings, apparent hidden messages and synchronicities that aren't worth your attention. there are a number of techniques for addressing the problems that result from these kinds of changes to one's perception. our preferred technique is to dedicate a short amount of time every day to clearing one's mind of thoughts in order to keep it calm. there's no trick to it, it just takes practice. find a place where you won't be disturbed, set your devices to silent or leave them elsewhere, get into a comfortable position, and set a timer for at least ten minutes. when thoughts appear, try not to engage with them except to push them away. this could be described as a kind of meditation, however we hesitate to use the word "meditation" without describing exactly what we mean, because the word is used to refer to a very large number of different mental exercises.

Carl Sagan's "Contact" addresses this in allegory; The 'alien' contact discussed isn't physical, but definitively extrarealistic insofar as the message it sent us was encoded in the observed simulation of our own reality - Pi ends up being an encrypted message, a sort of contact that preceded the big bang. But Sagan would never have concluded this intelligence is (a) god; It's entirely possible a 4th(nth) dimensional hyper-entity is asking the exact same questions we are, and we have far more in common with it/them then trillions of years would imply. For those with the Indra's Net concept of holographic physics, it's also possible that some aspects of our reality are as impossible to explain to them as theirs is to us: To a 4ther, we're too simple to be complex, "So you guys all just exist within a singularity...? Do your consciousnesses overlap?"

I still struggle with noticing some things that to me as what I consider myself to be can be horrifying. Natural born opposites. Monsters. They cannot harm me but they still terrorize. I understand the universe needs them as much as it does me and sometimes concessions are reached, but my first and only primal instinct is to build far away from them, to run away, to accept we cannot coexist (and to understand theirs is to devour, violate, smash, destroy, and irreparably disfigure, to nullify, to turn into gore, to belittle, to destroy).

Sounds like gov/corpo AI propaganda slop excusing mass surveillance. I will not take your MKULTRA schizo soma. Remember - you can't control what you're building, my hebrew friend.

>>93227 What is written there was relevant long before AI. It's basically saying that neverending information overload of information age is massively elevating syncronicities (aka "ideas of reference") even in average people. Further it provides some takes on how to cope with this and not go full schizo.

>It would not be the only time during this visit that Hemingway would complain about being under FBI surveillance. On the last day of Hotchner's visit, at dinner with the writer and his wife, Hemingway pointed out two men at the bar who he identified as "FBI agents". >With the two incidents immediately preceding Hemingway's hospitilisation at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where he received electric shock therapy, and several unsuccessful suicide attempts that followed his release, most have written off Hemingway's complaints about the FBI as largely delusional. >In the 1980s, however, Hemingway's FBI file was released following a Freedom of Information request by Jeffrey Myers, an academic then at the University of Colorado. The file demonstrated a keen interest in Hemingway, including his wartime attempts to set up an anti-fascist spy network called the Crook Factory, and the interest persisted until he entered the Mayo Clinic in 1960.

>>93248 Makes me wonder why did you think bringing mundane soykaf like this is anyhow relevant to this thread. Syncronicities usually on the level that's light years away from soykaf like "sus guys watching you in the bar". It's more like you're thinking about something and then random picture you see online in pretty much random stream of posts responds to your thoughts. Stuff's almost impossible to arrange by humans, especially if that's something that happens to you often (and it happens often to A LOT of normal people nowadays). If you think it's manmade, then you must also assume global thought-reading is already deployed and that pretty much any kind of streams on the internet are fully-controlled and intergrated within their systems.

>>93266 So this is what they put into the covid shots! Jokes aside, that's curious. I think they might be not the first ones coming up with something like this and there are other ways to do the same, via various exotic bacterial/viral/fungal pathogens (that can create connectivity via EMFs or more tricky means).

However it can't be ruled out if some system is modifying your sensory inputs or perception, or rewriting your memory. I think a lot of this may be the universe responding to people realizing it isn't real, so to maintain believeability and control, it has to make up something that can plausibly explain what people are noticing. The thing it has to do that today just happens to be tech, rather than places where the veil is thinner, angels and demons, God, etc. I don't know. Can't know.
