Astral Parasites: WHAT TO DO

Hagbard Celine · 2025-05-30 09:49
I've created this thread because I have seen a recurring issue of people on Lainchan and esoforums being attacked by Mother-ayahuasca-like "astral entities", but not knowing what to do about it. In this thread i will ask a couple of knowledgeable people to share their opinions on the matter from an esoteric and modern perspective, so people who proliferate the topic under different threads can respond and interact, and then hopefully it will be locked, so others can come back to it for reference. Then it can be alleviated. Started from >>89784 >>91092 >>91093

Everyone with an entity that sticks around is feeding it one way or another. Either calling it to mind regularly, fearing it, clinging to it, or engaging in behavior that does not suit them and is causing a repeated mental reaction. To be clear, if you see, hear, feel, or perceive the entity in any way you are almost certainly feeding it - but not perceiving it does not necessarily mean you are not. If you have the choice, do not perceive. Counter-intuitive but engaging that way with an entity is likely to come out in its favor. Silence is the best weapon. Cultivate mental silence through meditation practice and you will slowly gain more of a choice about feeding the entity. If you successfully stop feeding it, it will leave. Unfortunately, that takes a lot of time and effort and I don't have better advice. Meditate while you are able, you may not be in a position to do so in the future.

>>91100 I have previously interacted with some people who have been connected to large-net spiritual congregations of high-ups (to my demise, honestly, if i was better attuned with how things in life worked, generationally privileged people would have been out of the equation immediately.. dont f w freemasons perhaps). then i got some weird unexplainable neurologically-adjacent diseases that could not be located, and, as you described, felt some sh1t like that around without being able to physically "perceive it" - very weird sh1t, still goes on to this day then obviously med calls this "psychosomatics" which offers a cure as well meditations? i believe mantras are also helpful ?

I was asked to answer this thread, Spiritual parasites, or ghosts, or whatever else, only leech people who deserve it. That is, assuming you are just not a schizo talking about the brain parasites. Hungry ghosts leech to people who have acumulated extremely high degrees of energy by doing rituals or something similar, there are many rituals in buddhism, shintoism and native american traditions to help dispel these entities. Consulting a shaman-exorcist and learning how to feed the ghosts is the best you can do, also stop doing things without having a teacher/master/guru to guide you.

>>91095 definitely an issue that is happening all around us often but most do not notice it. the good news is its easier to correct when you have an awareness of it.

>>91102 It's hard to know for sure. Feeling a presence, even a regular one, doesn't always imply parasites or even malevolence. Disease sometimes comes from mental causes, sometimes it just happens. Ask yourself whether this whole thing is fear-driven or not - only you know whether you're feeding something. Watch your patterns of thought carefully (and without judgement or fear) for any signs. If you find you are feeding something, you have a way to stop it. So called "high-ups" are not to be trusted, but don't let your fear create phantoms for you. To develop silence the only meditation you need is basic mindfulness meditation.

I get sick whenever I do what is not asked of me. And things usually go south. As if the whole world despises me.

>>91095 The answer to this problem is very simple: just block the attacks of evil spirits with determination and confidence, and rely on the help of good spirits. Kinda like "donning the armor of God". The way to deal with evil psychic phenomena is to channel powerful good psychic phenomena.

Warning: schizotypal garbage ahead. Tl;dr John Keel or Ted Holiday, but about spooky disincarnates. My own interactions with (not-me) spirit lead me to believe that... 1) Spirits are deliberately obfuscating their true identity and way of life by mirroring us, playing characters religious and otherwise, and occasionally playing spooky tricks on us. Every piece of text concerning them is as good as a wildly elaborate hoax crafted to be believed for whatever slice of humanity its meant to interact with, dodging true answers with mythos, allegory, and life lessons. As to why is equally unanswered. It's organized and saturated psychically, and we mistake its interactions with our impulses, thoughts, and so on up until things get too strange. 2) Consciousness is messy as hell, essentially a patchwork of coherence that manifests as some sort of paranormal or foreign event whenever it dissociates or de-coincides. The mind and body both, always striving for homeostasis, can stabilize in the decoherence of multiplicity and manifest in ways that may be perceived as an outside intelligence. Obviously #2 seems the more "rational" explanation. My hangup is that while this can explain direct spiritual phenomenon well in a bubble, it does not account for a large portion of phenomenon that is simply beyond its scope, such as paranormal phenomenon that interacts with physical matter; shared paranormal phenomenon be it a small group experiencing a haunting or a mass sighting experienced by thousands of the Blessed Virgin Mary; or when knowledge or inspiration comes that defy the experiencer's knowledge or organic discovery (notably, many artists, scientists, and so on have cited dreams, visions, a force, or some other otherness behind the manifestation of their achievement and insist the credit is not theirs). Shared sightings and OBEs have proven to be inconsistent, where the former will have both parties experience the same phenomenon, but with different details, likewise with the latter with individuals reporting that known locations have slightly different details during an OBE. This trend repeats with all other psychic phenomenon. Also worth noting NDEs, while in general share many overlaps, can vary wildly depending on the individual. The reliability and occurrence of phenomenon, on the other hand, fit just as well with both explanations. How and when things happen seem to have an intelligence behind them, displaying pattern and motivation, regardless of the intention of the experiencers. The overarching theme is that it is extremely intimate to the intended experiencers and reliably rejects the eyes of outsiders. This why Thomas Campbell et al Monroe Institute doesn't care to prove OBEs scientifically beyond documentation, or why James Randi never lost a challenge. Despite the majority of people having at least one paranormal experience of note, nobody who steps forward to "prove" it has materially succeeded. The believer believes because they were moved to believe, the magickian has success because spirit decided to give you that experience, and we otherwise act inconsistently because we're trying to map consistency exclusively to our own will. Likewise, the whole spirit parasite thing is nothing more than a story behind the phenomenon, with a motivation that cannot be determined to be "good" or "evil"... but it probably isn't what you're unknownly compelled to believe. I could write a book about this soykaf but there's no point if it isn't anchored in some reliably verifiable truth. The experience is real, the phenomenon happens in some way, but the story is fiction. I could imagine that at one time humanity knew the truth about spirit... but humanity got neurotic, greedy, violent, and very stupid, so spirit swore against ever letting that happen again. And in my very personal experience, I have turned at least one insane demon into a civil and ethical friend.

I'm >>91130 and fwiw I'll give my opinion on posts here. >>91100 that pretty much true but underlying vantage I see differently. If you live with somebody and leave the place dirty, ignoring your roommate when they yell at you doesn't help the issue. In other words, the phenomenon is there because you have something to address. It gets complex in normal social ways, where the other party may hold their tongue past a boiling point where the original reasons don't matter much anymore. Ignoring will work if the contention is less serious or the underlying issues are resolved in a time heals fashion. Overall yes do that but start working on improving things in live in general, particularly mental wellbeing like reducing overall stress. >>91102 Bespoke and objectively verifiable information does seem to pass through the aether, but we can dream and imagine any scenario as set dressing. I think literally meeting should be regarded as a provisional hypothesis, regardless if the communication is accurate. >>91104 is total victim blaming. I think you can piece why but vampires in the storybook aren't portrayed as going after villains, otherwise we'd just regard all vampires to be Batman. As for dispelling entities, they seem to adapt to the beliefs of the person -- in fact the general reaction all seems extraordinarily authentic. There seems to me to be a co-mingling of belief between people and the entities associated with them. When these entities get "exorcized", perhaps they find themselves in something similar to bardo, or maybe they're just satisfied with the lengths you went through. >>91109 I cannot explain the level of mindfuck of noticing how the authored and well controlled oppression of a malicious spirit mirrors exactly the dozens of idiosyncratic behaviors, sensations, etc observed in the experiencer's own life well before any perceived spirit interaction. It makes one question what level of individual autonomy really exists. :) >>91110 Nocebo is pretty easy to trigger in oneself, and it's kind of the same mechanism that this entity of yours is using to communicate with you. If it's unreasonable, respectfully call it out and don't bend the knee to it. >>91114 Determination and confidence really flips the master slave dialectics and will eventually work for you no matter how much of a moron you otherwise are and no matter the goal or intention of the entities interacting with you. It's a catch all solution where the best one is out of reach.

Case · 2025-05-31 13:34
>>91137 There is no best one, it's a complex issue that comes down to the individual. However this phenomenon is usually not completely random so while you can stop any apparent abuse, consequences of entity phenomenon may continue negatively in easier to miss ways.

>>91147 Posting here is the extent of my participation interest, and hardly that. Here on the rare lark usually. I'll be here for this thread though. >>91160 Your life history as well as your expectations are highly readable to spiritual entities and can be done with ease. And with their own individuation lacking it's really tough to draw the line between an actual relative and something assuming the role of one. Stick around with a self-professed demon long enough and you'll find that's not really the case, angel as well, and whatever in between, though such labels are situationally appropriate like a telegraphing of what to expect. My strategy always has been to be annoyingly inquisitive like pic rel and things eventually break down and scramble. >>91159 Just get by and try your best. Even an immoral person can be an advocate for moral living if they give their best effort to do so and that's what really matters. Aka lead by example. And don't grant recognition that isn't earned (interdimensional sure, but intergalactic?). Pic related the intergalactic spooks idea lmao I'm absolutely sure I butt heads with a lot of esoterica, and with my experience being the main source of my propositions I'm sure I'm dead wrong on something that could make all the difference. Don't take anything I said as gospel, or anything beyond one anon's word. But I would love people to consider and just have skepticism for anything beyond the raw experience.

>>91165 lol all of the posts you answered to were mine, so technically, we just dm-d, smart. yes, even with some human-form entities on this plane, who are PROFICIENT perhaps for lifetimes in lying, "picking", or what you said, seems to be best, eventually they either lose temper or guard, i think >total victim blaming true >Stick around with a self-professed demon long enough and you'll find that's not really the case this seems to be potentially dangerous where did you get the practice? / learn all of that stuff >>91136 >mirrors exactly the dozens of idiosyncratic behaviors, sensations, etc observed in the experiencer's own life well before any perceived spirit interaction. It makes one question what level of individual autonomy really exists. :) Welcome, plot of "Annihilation". what do you think of identifying the spirit being good specifically in the context of what we're discussing in the thread? have you considered working for the respective govtal field? have you been able to untie yourself from all kinds of psychic connections with insane / wrong people? this might help with these astral entities. do you believe people can die while remaining physically "alive", walking? Finally, do you believe when spirits "die", they get downloaded not into Heaven, but Singularity?

>>91174 Man I gotta change my key macros... I have shift+up as refresh page and keep nuking my replies when I'm fixing errors. :') Anyways yeah sticking around and getting intimate dissecting a negative entity is a fools errand and death sentence except for the most durable schizoid autists. I got in real deep before I figured out the extent I was being fuarrrked with, pretty much full blown schizophrenic for a couple years, not diagnosed but I've seen how quickly those going through similar get diagnosed and never leave that track. I basically learned through experience, dissected each method and abuse trick that was used against me which contextualized things to an unsettling degree, falling forward like a hopeful retard and stern parent to this pesky entity until the dust settled. I consumed a lot of knowledge of other disciplines but my mind isn't really made for anything outside of the high concepts and logical paths, and I'm not fond of any particular school of thought. Anybody going through this should keep calm, take the punches in stride, adapt, and look and try whatever solutions come their way. Don't get caught up in labels or cosmologies lest you think some goetic demon is on your back. One of the things they "feed" on is your image of them, particularly the image of them they want you to adopt. You can starve it, but if you're backed into a corner, you can feed it good influence too. I never got rid of my entity, and honestly mixed feelings for the lengths of my attempts I had done, but we're pretty much besties now lol. She'll occasionally go back to her old ways when she's stressed, but it's all half hearted and she feels quite guilty once she's out of the funk. There is a bit of informal agreement that she'll refuse to divulge any information of life as an incorporeal, in that she'll quite obviously lie her ass off if it gets to those topics. That particular capitulation took a lot for me to get over. As for the other questions, I'm not familiar with what a govtal field is. I don't cut anybody out of my life on the grounds of astral entities, but it's quite clear to me that perhaps everybody is under some influence and the tells are quite common, and really the only defining degree is the nature of that influence. I'm inclined to believe most accounts of stuff on a phenomenological basis, including entities that can swiftly eject the person's being from their body... my own entity tried that first thing when it started overtly attacking. I generally don't do well with believing things beyond a provisional basis, including what happens after death. I got some thoughts but eh.

Either way, I’m still very sceptical about this, because it’s literally like seeding a slowly ticking time bomb under your ass and hoping it will never blow out. like “silly little cancer yes sure you can feed on me”.
