Jordan B. Peterson
Acid Burn · 2018-07-04 22:47
What do you guys make of him? Is he just some alt-right intellectual for you or do you find more in the things he talks about?
Jordan Peterson is a very interesting topic in my opinion. Not just the stuff he thinks and says but also how successful he has been with his teachings is really, really strange to me. I would first like to hear some opinions first, I know many people are critical of him for several reasons.
Linda Lee · 2018-07-04 22:50
I don't care for his more tradcon like stances myself. And really, the only real reason I can see why he is so popular is because we live in a world where so many young people lack a proper father figure in their lives. If it wasn't for that he'd be a run of the mill conservative mouth piece with almost no real traction.
Aristóteles Amadópulus · 2018-07-04 23:53
Even if some of his talking points have been taken up by them, I don't think it's fair to label Peterson as 'alt-right'. He fits comfortably in the liberal mould; concern for political freedom without necessarily being on board with social reform.
Personally, I found his mythology lectures very interesting, but don't really care for politics. They're a good introduction to Jungian thought and Peterson has clearly thought a lot about the things he's talking about.

He is frequently well reasoned, but has his weak points. His religious ideology is frequently less well explored, though he seems to still be a bit careful with how he espouses his views on the topic, especially when they are more poorly developed.
I respect him and I am glad a more rational and thoughtful person has garnered some media attention lately. I would not mind meeting him in person to learn more about him directly. He is among the few public psychologists I have any respect for.

I feel this way as well. Furthermore, I'm suspicious of the cult like following he has gained. JP fans are surprisingly thin skinned and have huge negative reactions to anyone making jokes about him. Also, it could just be that I'm not very bright, but listening to some of his lectures (admittedly, I've only listened to one or two) he reminds me of run of the mill motivational speakers that I've seen scam people out of money before in my rural town. Kind of like that pedophile character in Donnie Darko.

I don't follow him closely at all, but I've heard him say that he's not actually right-wing, he's just maligned as such, and has a following that is predominantly conservative. It's actually kind of funny, his talking points are very run of the mill, centre-left libertarian sort of stuff, but he's presented as some sort of posterboy for the alt-right.
>>8412
I'd agree about his religous beliefs. I recall his appearance on the Sam Harris podcast where he talked about his religious beliefs. His explanations were obtuse and maybe even embarassing.

With him I consider him to be someone arguing for a land of compromise. He just wants to return things to 1970 rather than make any hard stances or push things forward or back in any serious way. He is an argument for status quo. Alt-Right might like him, but no one should want an association with those glitterboys.
He's someone who catapulted himself to fame by calling a tranny out on their bullsoykaf and is using it to self promote run of the mill neo-con conservatism by just being able to address the trannies. The people who are using him as their surrogate father because he says things they should have heard years ago in a nice way is probably the funniest thing about him.
He's too concerned with preserving his own comfort, is verifiably greedy and manipulative when it comes to what he's using his fame for, and he's a neocon who's able to talk relevantly on the popular stage.

Idiots will always claim something is alt-right to shut down thinking people who bring up good arguments. Biology is inherently sexist in the animal kingdom, yet crying about it won't change reality. To many people try to shelter their fragile minds in safespaces and echochambers if a criminal statistic, radical idea to fix a common problem or known scientific fact pisses off their world view. Worst case they launch a soykafstorm and claim you're alt-right. Such accusations are those made by desperate people to kill the name of a person.
Name;
A word or set of words by which a person, animal, place, or thing is known, addressed, or referred to.
Name Synonyms;
reputation, title, appellation, denomination, repute.
A name is more than just a noun, verb, or adjective. It’s your life, your legacy, your journey, sacrifices, and everything you’ve worked hard for every day of your life as and adolescent, young adult and adult. Don’t let anybody tarnish it when you know you’ve live up to your own set of ethics and personal ethos.

We see him as person who is trying to hold off things just for long enough until globalists take control of all branches of government in the west during the high partisan time.
PS
Doesn't it seem a tad bit weird that he would get so much money from patreon donors simply because he got popular for saying to few trannies "no"?
That is essentially what he did, but he got really really popular for it. There are people who are advocating freedom of speech in it's core and he gets the praise and money? Seems a tad bit fishy.
Crash Override · 2018-07-05 11:59
I see Jordan Peterson as just another one of the system's many tactics to co-opt genuine dissent and redirect it in a way that doesn't endanger the system. He's trying to make basic bitch neoconservatism seem new and radical, and he hasn't even bothered to meaningfully address how corrupt and politicized his own field of study is.
Pris · 2018-07-05 13:30
He's an Enlightenment liberal to the core. He's the approved opposition tacitly tolerated by the establishment, because if the fed up masses listen to him instead of someone more revolutionary, their system can still survive. There's a reason why the "intellectual dark web" got coverage by the not-so-dark mainstream media outlets.
They want to lead people away from more radical solutions. Peterson may not be aware of it, neither is he a co-conspirator, but he's being used in this manner by the media who gives people coverage at the end of the day.
The entire neoconservative/Prager University camp fears the genuine alt-right, so they selfishly try to usurp fresh disgruntled people. When will they discuss Ernst Junger? Julius Evola? Why don't they try to understand Baudrillard/Debord as an intellectual exercise and instead label them as "postmodernist nonsense" without even trying? Why wasn't Mencius Moldbug the face of those "intellectual darkweb" articles? You know why - those ideas directly oppose their neoconservative civic nationalist ideology.

Thats what I was getting at and I wouldn't doubt that Dickie Spencer's crowd wouldn't love to co opt him into their Alt-Right. Which is just affirmative action for whites and not addressing how the divisions came to be in the first place. The Alt-Right is just neo-con civnat horsesoykaf which doesn't do anything but make the current system run as intended by expending a maximum amount of effort to make it so. So the US would look like Yugoslavia or Sri Lanka if these pricks ever took over. One big never ending cycle of meritocracynepotistic bribeland based on club and how much you yiff on discord pissing off the people who can't hack it but can't/won't leave so they'll just throw a tantrum you can do nothing about on the sidelines.

I think they enjoy the Alt Right and the press its gotten them. Plenty of those people who fall on the spectrum from r_td to polk/stormfront types like the fact that Prager University and glitterboys like him can be used to drill one of their points home. But outside of a few webm's I've seen tossed around most everyone imageboards seems to have wizened up to them except for new users off of reddit. But call them what they are which is CivNats and white's who want gibs.
The disease with them is that when actually pressed and drilled on something like the IQ scores by demographics, crime, and ethnic friction they fall apart. So knowing that they're weak willed and dependent on massive amounts of context with logical steps that puts geocentrism to shame. The powers that be have said "Lets put these losers up on the stage!" And so they are the anointed champions to argue the current problems irritating the white male 16-34 demographic. They have constructed this great narrative about how great it is to be this CivNat Enlightenment Era Liberal which doesn't stand up to any sense of pragmatism. And if ever they were on an important debate watch them crunch over and bend when someone pokes them on the absolute disgusting and absurd poverty blacks and hispanics live in and how their system of removing Affirmative Action would crash and burn when faced with the fact these people will starve and waste. Which will inevitably lead to riots that will force capitulations worse than what was in place before. And even if they can manage to kick over that rice bowl, because lets say they win the argument and we get their CivNat paradise. We haven't changed what put us here in the first place and the same actors will lead us by the nose right back to where we were. Except this time because the CivNats refuse to address ethnic tensions that occur and Racial IQ; they'll probably have a population twice the size of the one before that would just kill them for even daring to try and break the parasitic relationship.

I agree. And if JP argued solely on the basis of scientific facts I wouldn't have a problem with him. The problem, as I see it, is that he uses rather well known, intuitive common sense, scientific knowledge in order to get the attention of the layman, and afterwards he launches into some ridiculous psychology/antropology/mythology babble.
I don't mind psychology, so long as it adheres to objective scientific methods. Talking about Freud and Jung and all the rest is all well and good but at the end of the day isn't it all speculative? Very little of psychology can be objectively tested and measured, and even that which is measured and tested is done so with unreliable methods or dodgy conditions.

Honestly, he comes across as controlled opposition since he got famous for taking on easy targets (extreme feminists, SJWs, safe space advocates, etc.) and when he tries to take on harder opponents, he fails to differentiate pride from credit when claiming it is wrong to be proud of something you did not do or for something you have no control over. By that logic, a father cannot be proud that his son is good at math especially if that father did not tutor his son.
He also has a very layman view of history and of what constitutes as civilization or an element of civilization like when he claimed it was a Middle Eastern phenomenon despite archaeological evidence that shows elements of it being practiced in various corners of the prehistoric and ancient world.
Also, much of his work may have been done before.

I don't understand this whole controlled opposition meme. People like JP, sargoy, s0h and the likes (basically every category of people in your image) are stepping stones. I'd bet that a small but significant percentage of their followers will one day move on from simple anti-feminism etc. by questioning the true (((cause))) of these societal diseases.
"Muh cuntrolled apposoykafion" seems to be used much more by people trying to prevent support for a legitimate or helpful cause by spreading fud about it.
That said, people like Peterson and Milo are, indeed, incredibly mild in their beliefs compared to most people I talk with. They are not actually against feminism, only against turd wave feminism specifically - this is a common viewpoint nowadays especially among youth.

They're called controlled opposition because of their relationship to people farther on the spectrum than them. They retain on youtube far more than they pass on to say pole or even the autkike. Thus if I take the message from pole :because that's where this sentiment is most strongly felt, and the message is "Jews hold an inordinate amount of influence in our society for reasons that are clearly nepotistic" then say RationalSkeptic4324329 takes it and says "The elites hold in an inordinate amount of influence in our society for reasons that are clearly self serving" Then the message has lost its teeth. It no longer directs attention at the heart of the issue and instead makes it vague, it takes you out of the bush to run circles around it. The speaker who's only advantage is access and promotion on a platform the other that being the primary group does not have is an intellectual thief. To the uninitiated one of these people sounds like something out of a movie so they're familiar. And the other e.g pole you have to remember that they have seen this world from its roots as being based on a set of lies that serve an overclass. And that our social ecosystem is closer to a poorly maintained garden rather than the wild. Thus they view everything with initial skepticism and have logicked out systems for determining lies that often rely on just identify repeat offenders. And with repeat offenders they will either find easily referenced conflicts of interest, dubious relationships, or have dissected them for behaviors that indicate lies.Jordan Peterson fits into the first two and someone like Sargon would definitely fit in the third. Further on the spectrum people like Dickie Spencer come out as being controlled op. just by virtue of their unexplained media presence, soft stances, complacency, and incompetence. And that it also stems from the old stances against e-celebs and "We have no leaders" sentiment which ironically of all the groups pole desires a leader the most out of anyone, but its a high standard.
I don't know if the spam filter is to protect them or to insult them but its absolutely fuarrrking retarded and gay. Put up a list of derezzed words so I don't lose entire fuarrrking posts just because I might have said Appleman's MKUltra Switch Word

As I said before, these people are stepping stones. At least in my own experience - the average person doesn't change their political opinion all at once.

Hououin Kyouma · 2018-07-07 10:21
The reason the alt-right likes him, I assume, is because he isn't cowed by loud, browbeating "SJW" voices. Am I wrong?
From what I hear, he labels the SJW camp as "postmodern marxism". Unfortunately, that label is an oxymoron. And he knows it. Marxism == modernism. Postmodernism/post-structuralism is what all the academics retreated into when they finally heard about gulags.
I'm really quite sure Peterson knows that this particular label doesn't make any sense, seeing how he is an academic himself, and so the only reason to use this label at all is because it's what people want to hear. It's what his fans want to hear. And I think young people just want to see someone, anyone, who isn't completely spineless in the face of the MSM narrative and they'll worship that person regardless of whether or not anything he says makes any sense at all.

Here are my opinions on JP:
1) He is a charming speaker and argues well.
2) But the things he says about history and philosophy are so technically incorrect he is hard to take seriously. Repeatedly repeats reputed myths about historical fascists, and conflates incompatible ideas like postmodernism and marxism. He clearly has not read or understood any of philosophers he is blaming for the current cultural climate.
3) He makes some interesting arguments against the current *college climate* but couches the arguments so deeply in jungian theory and poorly reasoned philosophy that his actual points are obscured.
He needs to separate his critique of college SJW nonsense from abstract arguments about marxism. If he was more clear about criticizing social fads directly, and left the symbolic stuff at the door his point would be stronger.
4)His detracts from his own credibility by refusing to shy away from far right thought systems. He attracts fans from the extreme right, claims he is a centrist, and does nothing to clarify his opposition to the far right.
If he really is far right he needs to make that clear in his arguments. If he is not, he needs to make that clear in his arguments.
5)Jordan's sometime laudable pursuit of individual freedom is undermined by his moral relativism. Saying wild controversial thing about Hitler for instance, takes away from his simpler harder to counter points.
6) He continues to promote bad cultural memes like "cultural marxism"
7) He believes in Jungian psychoanalysis, which is not a modern or valid scientific approach to psychoanalysis. He is literally a few steps from believing in Freud.
He literally justifies Hitler's actions in terms of being part of the Jungian "shadow."
This is distracting and wrong, and it detracts from his more salient points while attracting far right fans.
8) He does not present any scientific rigor whatsoever. When he cites sources he misunderstands them or takes them out of context.
So he's interesting, but highly flawed. I'll keep listening to him if he improves, but I think he's going the other way.

It should be said, that while a biological father should be the ideal father figure in a youth's life, any man who is willing to teach a young person how to be an adult and is a good influence on them is more important than a man who fathered the child if the biological father is absent due to death, not caring, or being pushed away from family courts.
I'd argue that men don't want anything to do with kids that aren't theirs if they believe they are going to get accused of being a kidnapper or child molester. Also, family courts are known to be unfair to men in custody cases. Also, not every woman makes good choices in men either or the man is very good at hiding his bad behavior.

The problem with people like this is that when it comes to mass psychology, first impressions are the most important thing. People have the attention span of a goldfish for issue's they aren't invested in. And people like Peterson offer a solution that is the continuation or return of people's comfort. The same thing that led to the problem they're in now.
And when they have a regular audience of one-hundred-thousand to three-hundred-thousand only a thousandth to a hundredth might be passed along to the originator, while they soak up more of the spotlight and inevitably make a fool of themselves. Not only tarnishing what they had said prior to having embarrassed themselves and what they were defending but making it harder to discuss the point. Think about some dumb joke that has done more damage to a debate or issue and made it impossible to defend. "Hurr dey took our jobs!" from South Park concerning illegal immigration, or Dickie Spencer talking about ethical child pornography. These people are losers concerned with their own comfort and when pressed about it will do everything to justify not changing things. And when someone with any form of backing better than internet welfare goes up against them you can watch these people fold under their own drivel. So what happens to the people who followed them in some form or another? They don't go to the winner, they don't stick around on the losing side: they shut up and mumble their objection because they don't have the spine to argue their point because they based their talking points around some losers.

What do you want to say with this?
If this is just about the cultural norms of jewish communities, I think we can pretty much agree. Jews in the West do indeed have very insular, isolated, closed communities as a consequence of their history, which can work both for and against them. The next step would be obviously to ask if this is a good thing or not: If this lifestyle should just be accepted as part of a free and open society or if it should be opposed as antithetical to a free and open society. I've seen both jews and non-jews argue for both positions.
I guess I was worried this was going to go in a "muh joos want to destroy the white race and institute a new world order" direction

>What do you want to say with this?
I have seen a lot of people loose the sense of their tribal ethnic desires and wants in vast majority of cases, not everyone because of neoliberal "individualist" approach the west has divided and conquered people. Then those tribal desires and impulses are directed elsewhere. Sports? Ideologies? Political Parties? Racism?
In most european countries we don't see ourselves as "european" even though probably rest of world sees us as Europeans. Most of people in Europe have their nationalistic and ethnic identities as first, and somewhat feel like European. Most people I know feel as if they are [from country I am] and even more so about regional and local tribalistic feeling.
People that often don't understand this never even felt it to begin with. So most often than not it is someone who had no ethnic identity to begin with and all his/her life satisfied that ethnic tribalism through other means.
>If this lifestyle should just be accepted as part of a free and open society or if it should be opposed as antithetical to a free and open society
Not only have they shown that this ethnocentric type of behaviour is beneficial, but that they can live in wider free and open society whilst preferring and pushing for their own in the first place.

Not to say he's the most impressive speaker out there when it comes to his views. But he's direct, easy to understand and grasp concepts from, so even a monkey can understand his ideas, and has a positive intention behind his words.
Unfortunately like most of these ""ALT-RIGHT-WINGED"" speakers (he's not alt-right lmfao) he lacks quality and backings when he speaks to someone of a higher level of knowledge. Just like Milo, he looses his charm in real debates that aren't women who graduated from a university in liberal arts.

Psychoanalysis is not a science. I like Jungian psychoanalysis exactly for that reason, it doesn't try to understand the subjectivity of the mind through a hard objective theory, but rather using a language and structure that matches more closely that of the object of study.
Formalism is best reserved for hard sciences, and even then I'd argue that you can gain some insight by putting formalism aside (at times).

I'm ok with that if you concede the Jungian analysis is a philosophy, and not a science, and therefore has no place in a clinical setting.
Psychologists have put together a reasonable scientific basis for cognitive behavioral theory. That's the standard any "psychology" should live up to. Anything less is philosophy only.
I bring these points up since a) Jordan markets himself as a *clinical* psychologist (no ethical room for Jung there) and b) Jordan clearly stinks at philosophy. Jung is a bad fit for the problem he is trying to solve.

Sorry to interrupt your dogwhistling but you know Israel is a disaster, right? Huddling together around an identity is not helping them. It's a recipe for unending misery in the region. They also do not band together in the way you seem to predict. Conservative jews have created an open air prison in the form of Gaza without a shred of guilt while progressive jews are too disgusted to stick around and are moving away (ironically, to Germany). There is no secret cabal to ensure unity.
The loudest, harshest critics of Israel are all Jewish academics. In fact, the rest of the world is so apathetic towards Gaza that it is now up to Jewish academics to go into Gaza, talk to the people, conclude that 97% of the groundwater is poisoned, conclude that the Israeli government is breaking international law, conclude that Israeli snipers will shoot at women, children, people in wheelchairs, people flying kites, medics, journalists, etc. etc. and then spread propaganda afterwards and claim that these people were all brainwashed to act as human shields for terrorists. And then the conservative Israelis say "we have a right to defend ourselves" so they can cling to an identity, cling to a tribe, and continue to use that excuse as they expand their territory and build illegal settlements.
The only people who are making any headway into changing this situation are progressive Jews who reject the chauvinism and the tribalism, who risk their careers and their lives by traveling straight into hell to figure out what is going on. Perhaps you'd like to read about them. Or, you could pussy out and say "you just don't get ethnicity, maaan" like you did with that other poster, so we can all have a good chuckle. >Perhaps you'd like to read about them. Or, you could pussy out and say "you just don't get ethnicity, maaan" like you did with that other poster, so we can all have a good chuckle. It's all up to you, anon!
Whenever I talk to a leftist, and this is only leftist phenomena, I get this overwhelming sense of high horse mentality.
"You should read more" and "get educated" on the topic is the usual phrases. You wouldn't care to know my opinion on gaza/west bank/israel conflict and already you are saying I don't know much about it. You didn't even ask me what I think of it and already you concluded that I know too little. From begining to the end of your post there have been assumptions thrown at me from that high horse of yours.
Well I am here to tell you that I am well aware of sources you might be reading on the topic, and I am here to tell you that all bad things jews do is swept under the rug. Anyone who points them out gets called an antisemite (even the left wing is getting that brand recently) and jews continue on with their course. Did the settlements stop after UN declared them having no legal validity? No. It doesn't matter. Jews are tight knit community that thrives on outside enemy fear which pushes them only further to create new enemies, not only in region but on international stage. Whenever some terrorist in western country attacks a jew or jewish community they cite palestine as their cause. This in turn makes jews even more self aware of their identity and most jews ran away from France after Charlie Hebdo and even more after Hyperchaser kosher market siege. Hell, there is even a youtube channel dedicated to just taking questions from comments and asking them to passerbies on streets on Tel Aviv. And guess what? Most Israel nationals say exactly what I do, not what you do. They are more concerned with their own identity and existance than with children dying in Gaza.
Get off your high horse, stop throwing assumptions and argue sincerely.

To end my thought. If Israelis are doing these bad things year after year, and nothing is done about it then it only validates my point that jews around the world are tight knit community that work together for a common goal.
Humans are social animals, in that sense that we became powerful as species because we used our tribal instincts to form small communities in which everyone worked together towards the same goal. You will agree with me that neoliberal individualist approach is rather flawed but I guess you are willing to feed your natural tribal instincts with political and ideological allingment rather than ethnic one. Ethnocentric tribalism is the natural outgrowth of our genetic desire to reproduce and continue existing (something similar to larger sense of extended "family")

>he's a right winger,
He's classic moderate left, but the goal posts of modern politics have swung so far leftward in the last few decades that even old right-wing parties are to the left of Peterson, thus he appears a "right winger" to anyone from the deep left spectrum of politics. From observation of actual right wing discussions about him he is viewed as a left winger, as too is the alt-right movement - which they mockingly refer to as "alt-lite".
Even center, center-left Individuals like Stefan Molyneux and Sargon of Akkad are branded as 'right wing' now. Anyone who doesn't call for a big intrusive government controlling every aspect of life banning and regulating words, opinions, and feelings gets labeled a 'nazi'.
This is disturbing because Universal laws require balance, and if politics has swung so far to the left that center-left, and centerist people like Peterson, and Trump are seen as "far-right", then the Universe will balance this out with actual far-right types.
Think of the disparity between Trump and those who despise him, then double it to understand what types the Universe will create to bring balance. Not good.

Actually Israel is doing very well compared to the rest of the region. I'm not the guy you are replying to, and I don't care for Israel's bully tactics, but Israel is a modern tech hub. The interior parts of the country are perfectly fine.
>The loudest, harshest critics of Israel are all Jewish academics
No, they are college kids on the left who understandably do not like to make horrifying moral compromises.
Politicians play lip service to this, but they are heavily investing Israel on both sides.
>Israeli snipers will shoot at women, children, people in wheelchairs, people flying kites, medics, journalists, etc. etc
The situation in Palestine is barbaric on both sides. The Palestinians do all of those things. The only difference is that, in my opinion, if Israel were to stop existing tomorrow the Arab world would still be troubled and violent, but the opposite would not be true.
Palestine may someday be a state, but it is no way a nation, and the idea that historically very mobile Arab people in that region deserve any plot of land in particular is toxic to the peace process.
Palestinians are arabs, and they believe deeply in Arab nationalism. They logical endpoint of their political philosophy is a united pan Arab state. Therefore it doesn't actually matter where they live, and they are not entitled to live any particular place.
There is no future where a Palestinian state would be anything more than another Pakistan. A decaying, corrupt, Islamist dictatorship that will continue to sponsor violence long after it's every whim is been satisfied. Even if Israel plays nice, it will inevitably be Israel's responsibility to deal with the security issues resulting from this. Who will secure the boarders of that state? Will the west have to *arm* yet another fledgling Arab military?
With the number, and violence of the factions there, a real chance exists it would disintegrate into civil war within years.
The entire notion of a Palestine nation was made up whole cloth in the early 20th century, and much stronger Arab states have disintegrated under the utter disinterest their peoples have for their completely fabricated nationality.
No matter what happens to the Palestinians, someone will have to pay for it, and someone will have to secure it for years. There are no winners here.
At least Israel is relatively self sustaining by comparison.
I don't agree with the rational of a lot of right wingers on this. I do think that absolutely no remedy beyond the end of the Israeli state will end the violence in the area, and Israel will simply not end.
In that situation, where the other side pledges eternal dishonorable guerrilla warfare, I can easily see how the larger state loses patience and descends into vicious reprisals. No matter how Israel proceeds they will be attacked, and they will be made the villain.

The few attendees who genuinely believe those things are intentionally trying to push him and put him into a tough position. It shouldn't be a surprise that a certain group gravitates towards a person opposing something they're also against, but for entirely different reasons. So they try to pressure him to become /ourguy/.
JP opposes the progression of the Enlightenment era to its natural conclusion (absolute egalitarianism) because he wants to preserve a former stage of the Enlightenment (1950s). This places him to the right of gommies, the same direction where the actual far-right is, but he's also to the left of the far-right although a bit less. It makes sense for the far right to attempt to drag him towards themselves so that he'd oppose the egalitarians/gommies/ess jay doobelyoos/whatever even more than he currently is.
If you ask the JP subreddit or some other JP forum those uncomfortable questions they resoundingly signal against all those far-right things. The only thing linking JP and the far right is opposition to radical leftism and nothing else, the reasons for opposing them differ entirely.

Okay here's what I make of him:
Politically I don't agree with him but the claims that he's alt-right or even a right winger are completely ridiculous. He's anti-SJW and anti-communist (authoritarian left). That's about the only arguments I ever hear that support the claim that he's basically Hitler. Otherwise he's against all collectivist/authoritarian movements and doesn't like fascism or nationalism too. The fact that he complains more about leftists is probably the biggest reason he is perceived as some kind of Neo-Nazi by some people. I think this is because 1) there are more (powerful) radical leftwingers and 2) he frequents in this conservative/anti SJW/free thinker bubble with people like Sam Harris, Joe Rogan, Ben Shapiro, Dave Rubin etc.
I don't really care about his politics though and skip most of this stuff, simply because I don't need an explanation why SJWs and communists are wrong.
The self-improvement stuff he talks about is good and meaningful in my opinion. It's very simple and sometimes even obvious but thats why it's so great. It's also shocking that no one ever said things like this to the people in his audience. The simple ideas of adapting responsibilities, working hard, facing your fears, telling the truth, taking care of yourself and wasting less time can make a HUGE difference in your life. It's almost magical how things seem to line up when you're in the process of fixing up your life. Everything gets better. Again, people will say this stuff is obvious but for some people it isn't and they need help with things in live. They have rough family and career situations and don't see a way out. Peterson also never claimed that these are his ideas, he simply communicates them to people who have grown up only hearing advice like "be yourself", "you're okay the way you are" and other Disney-tier stuff.

>some superior ethnicity controls every aspect of the modern world like some Hollywood movie villains
Saying this is a strawman of the actual argument. No one can debate the fact that jews are grossly overrepresented in every major influential industry in America/Europe. The way they achieve this is a combination of high intelligence, victimhood optics, and extreme nepotism. Its also clear to see that the jewish lobby shares an overwhelmingly common neo-liberal agenda. Thats pretty much all there is to it... not some secret super villian meetings where 'tha joos' plot out every turn the world is going to make, obviously. Now none of this is inherently wrong but when it comes to the agenda they push, its defiantly not in the common European mans interest.
I hope you read this and its clears up misconceptions you have. Basically all it is, is intelligence + optics + nepotism = control. Control = influence, and how they use that influence is not in anyone's interests but themselves.

This a thousand times this. Its the same with the Chinese, which strangely enough is easier for people to see but only because they look different. Just don't tell them that last bit because then they'll block it out as hard as possible. Its that instead of being a subservient underclass they use their position and role to subvert the indigenous people and manipulate them. Which all of these groups have countries of their own, but desire to be in ours. Its not hard to pick out where the sentiment is coming from. They don't assimilate because they don't want to and cannot. Mutting you and your family to have pet muslims in your country, so that the McMansion Socialists can show off how tolerant they are is whats causing the friction.

>female validation
Nigga what?
Men are literally biologically predisposed as only function to court a female and females are biologically predisposed to go for top 20% of men (beauty, height, resources, social skills...)
I can have a broad assumption that you are a loser with no money or friends just on basis that you dodn't have a lady interested in you because most women don't like that.
Has nothing to do with females the literal gatekeepers of reproducion "validating" you guess what they will validate you for? Heh but I guess you may be right. Guess I rely too much on females to validate other bros for me. Bros before hoes mayn. Ya dig?
>Meaning that women with your insult are just ways to become "better men"?
Nah, its just that "better men" are able to get women.
You got it the other way around mate.
>Why do you do this?
I didn't tell you this but I have an uncanny ability to smell a spineless loser over the internet just by the way their write.
In the theme of this thread "clean your room bucko" would be appropriate but by the way you smell maybe "go wash yourself" is better

So just because I have no girlfriend or not sleeping around with random women I'm a "spineless loser"? And all this on some biological determinism? And on top of this you think bullying people online is even going to come close to helping people?
You are the one going onto niche imageboards despite having a long term relationship, I'm assuming a good paying job, and a "good life" insulting people who you have determined to be losers, which is what a true loser does but somehow I'm a goddamn loser who has to "clean his room" just because I don't follow your script of what a man is supposed to do? I'm not spineless, I'm man enough to admit at this point that I am extremely angry at this bullsoykaf. I'm willing to admit my faults but to be continuously get called a loser by someone who is wasting his time tearing people down while being on a goddamn high horse about it is bullsoykaf.

>"because they look different"
>neurosuggesting jews look anything like white people
Just google for "jewish facial traits" or "how to recognise a jew" and you will start seeing jews all around you

Lol
Who are you to tell me how to "waste" my time?
Shut up loser and sort your life out before you tell others what to do lol

And there you go again on your high horse. I'm not a loser. A real loser has to tear other people down to feel good about themselves. The only reason you are doing this is because you think I'm a easy target, you are little more than a schoolyard bully. And if you are trying to give me advice, pissing people off rarely works in the long run.

Jesus, someone lock this thread. I feel like I'm walking into a leaking reactor by reading this. It went from an ok conversation into complete garbage.
