its pretty funny to think how psyche fracturing this technology has been to our brains. " On December 3, 1992, the first SMS text message in history is sent: Neil Papworth, a 22-year-old engineer, uses a personal computer to send the text message “Merry Christmas” via the Vodafone network to the phone of a colleague. " 30 ~ years huh, what a rapid unrelenting acceleration of technological influence. Its a shame i wont be able to have a robot wife or something persecom style, but instead.... whatever all of this is we have here, I would like to hope that we are just going through some strange transitional period and things will eventually smooth out we will work alongside instead of by and with instead of for the basilisk we are seemingly creating, I would like to hope that these tech companies understand the synergy they have been able to create with these applications, and how it works with human nature. I see the stuff that is pushed to the forefront of my generations consciousness, the things we latch onto and live by not to say that im so different, its far beyond the youthful naivety and rebelliousness that is not only common but the standard for younger folks. Its scary, yes. There will always be individuals who seem to percolate to the top and somehow skirt by all of the molds of maladjustment that the current modalities that we live have offered. I try to have a better future in mind, but it seems as if its all rotting.
i turn 20 tomorrow basically, is it all rotting? or am i just a fuarrrking loser with a bad hand ? Only I can answer that huh
where do you stand in all of this, are you eaten up by constant anxiety at the damn near schizophrenic future projections you have created in your stupid monkey brain, a personal hell I WOULD wish on my worst enemy. What is there to do? What the fuarrrk do YOU do?

>>83567 >its pretty funny to think how psyche fracturing this technology has been to our brains. "Psyche fracturing" just means that those exposed to this technology (the internet, for example), are exposed to things that broaden their awareness. In this way the internet is like a psychedelic drug, it can help those who can utilize and incorporate the received info into their perception, and can come as a great detriment to those who can't, an example would be extremist ideologies due to echo chambers, isolation, addiction. These things have existed before, they just have been accelerated to the point where it's no longer those who seek something that would cause these detriments are affected but literally everybody who comes into contact with the internet. >where do you stand in all of this, are you eaten up by constant anxiety? Technology only really becomes terrifying at the point where you can't avoid the detriments, like a far future where gene editing is a mandatory thing to avoid crime or wrongthink. Before that happens, the changes technology brings will collapse the current political system in most advanced countries, and that will be the only time when we can get rid of it completely (paraphrasing Kaczynski) >What the fuarrrk do YOU do? Learn to adapt and use all this new technology. Prepare yourself for societal collapse. Consider getting a religion to maintain some sense
