I think I identified my main problem but I don't know how to deal with it.
I understand that the way society and life works is thriving of the fittest (or luckiest). We want the best and don't care for someone's personal life story. I do it myself by looking at the best reviewed stuff so I don't judge others for doing the same.
We also need to work together and recognize or strenghts and weaknesses and allocate tasks accordingly. All these amazing cities only got built because someone was willing to do the hard construction work and others had the boring job of providing materials. Not everyone can be the designer. Not everyone can be the main character of the movie.
I know I am just one of the billion people and statistically insignificant. I know my place and don't act entitled but internally I've always struggled with this. Because all I've ever known is my perspective so I do feel like the main character even if I don't have any special talents, tend to follow others because of my lack of creativity and intelligence and lead an extremely boring life. I just can't make peace with a humble life but that's all I can manage and by living in the 1st world it still makes me more fortunate than most people. I struggle with having a consciousness that can process and imagine many things but being stuck in this very limiting body. Why couldn't I be born as that handsome son of multi-millionaires who will never know anything but the high life with no need to work? There are so many (good) things I will never experience. I've been miserable pretty much constantly all my life. Every day I wish I could be someone else someone better. Some people live such mindblowingly magical lives it makes mine look like hell even if many people have it worse. I waste so much mental energy on self-pity and daydreams I made my life worse instead of trying to work with what I have. I didn't even have rich parents who spoiled me so I don't know where this is coming from. At this point it feels like a core part of my personality but it only causes me pain so I need to get over it somehow but idk how. Philosophies like Buddhism and Stoicism sound like cope.

The fact is you are the main character of your own story. It's not a problem in itself but it's easy to get lost into a spiral of entitlement and self pity like you said. The answer is to develop a sense of self awareness and respect yourself to the regard that you believe yourself to deserve. That means accepting yourself as you are and breaking your habits. Start a diary documenting your every day activities and progress towards your goals.
Try not to day dream, daydreaming is toxic and activates the reward centers of your brain when it's undeserved leaving you complacent. Don't pity yourself either, you're just making excuses for yourself. Are you really someone that needs pity?
It comes down to a choice. You can stay how you are and let it define you, or you can take action to change yourself and make this slump a footnote in your life story. Let your ego be the fuel for personal development and actualization.

Also, bhuddism is kind of a cope in this way. "Hey man if you just give up on your desires you have nothing left to actualize.
Stoicism is the opposite though. Stoicism is not apathy, it means accepting things as they are and taking steps to fix things. You can't tackle a problem if you don't first recognize it as a problem.

Outside buddhism we have "god give me the power to change what i can, ignore what i cant and the wisdom to differentiate the two" and more secular there's don quichotte. You can call "avoid futile fights" cope but its still the only real option.
Life is ruthless and choice is merely lose or play meta. Doesnt mean you have to copy mainstream, there is opportunity and riches spearheading uncharted paths but it does mean you cant insist running agains the wall head first if you wanna go anywhere.
As for "main character" the hero is replaceable. The avg story is some nobody gets fantastical things that make him strong. Does it matter who he was? No. The hero is essentially no different to a delivery driver hauling all the cool soykaf others made to its intended destination. Delivery guy gets the thanks instead of the factory worker but he is nothing without the legion of people making all the things happen behind him.

No. There is both overlap and differences in Buddhism and Stoicism. Buddhism may indirectly influenced Stoicism even. Buddhist nirvana is about same thing as apatheia in Stocism.

This is an issue too big to be tackled in just a couple lines of text, and I myself haven't come with any solid solution either, so I'll try to answer only a few sentences.
>main character syndrome
There is no "syndrome", you are the main character of your life. By that I don't mean you should, as you said, act entitled, but simply to have a high sense of self while acknowledging that others may feel the same way about themselves.
Also, stop trying to rationalize society and your position in it. Do what you want with what you have, the rest is of utter irrelevance.
>Not everyone can be the main character of the movie
Most people, including the designers and corporates, are just doing their jobs because they need money, just like everyone else. A lot of them don't like what they're doing.
>I just can't make peace with a humble life
This is more of a "I don't like life" than a money problem, specially if you live in the 1st world. Even though your upbringing and social circle are permanently damaged, you can still enjoy most hobbies, talk to people, travel to affordable places, etc..
Maybe I'm wrong and projecting, but I'd guess that you are a life hater and it drains most your energy to actually go and enjoy things.
>being stuck in a limited body, daydreaming, etc.
Can relate. It really is like kicking dead whales down the beach to have desires, impulses and traits that are unfit for your existence.
See, I've always been extremely contemplative and slow, carrying a heart-wrenching melancholy that impacts most of my daily activities, but that also makes life so much more than a quest for survival, power and pleasure. But then, why would I have been made this way? Why would god give me one of the most beautiful gifts, the one of sensitivity, if I would have to throw in the garbage in order to move on?
Nothing makes sense, but it makes me suffer.

lately, and this is a success report, is taking max stirner's dialectical egoism, and luciferian lhp, making the biggest narsissistic ego possible and hedonisticly, magicly getting everything i want, then throwing it all into the void with zazen. it has been very entertaining leaving people with an impression of a gigantic dickhead who's full of himself, which really just mocks and undermines their own inflated self-importance, and then leaving them to pick up the shattered pieces while i retreat into Nothingness because i really do not care.
we're so attached to societies labels, our masks, it is so foolish to identify with the random kaffinated soybeanproduct that ruminates day-in day-out. just put on a show, have a laugh, then drop the act. been working out well.
