Stupidity
Morpheus · 2024-08-03 05:16
This is the first time talking about this but i always have been stupid in every sense of the word. i could write paragraphs talking about this but i will keep it short, i am limited. i lack situational awareness, my short term memory is trash, my thoughts are chaotic and am easily confused whenever someone gives me a "easy" command, sentence, joke, description, etc. it gotten to the point where it made me anxious on what others deemed to be a simple task, making me clumsily preform and at risk for mistakes. no matter how much i try at something, i am always bound to make a mistake that would either hinder the result or outright fuarrrk it up, due to these issues i was put inside a school especially made for people like me which made any hope for a social life, any hope for university and any hope to be normal disappear. this school has never substantially helped me in these issues and now am stuck trying to find a job, essentially i am trapped in utter despair. i have accepted my fate.
sorry for being a little vague but
are there other lainons that have a similar situation?
Technician · 2024-08-03 05:26
>i have accepted my fate
no you haven't
anyway since you're at it anyway, is it viable to go see a doctor? can't get any worse than it's already is. maybe there's a way to improve things, even if mildly. maybe you're ill.
even low iq niggers i know of don't have your experiences and get by in life. think about it
Emmanuel · 2024-08-03 05:31
how online are you, and for how long? i think my so called adhd is literally just my brain being unable to cope with how overstimulating consumer grade anything lol

i am planning to talk with a pyschologist soon, hopefully wish it can result into something.

embarrassing to admit but have been online chronically and as long as you have been online for, although it wasn't the only thing that made me like this, i believe it significantly contributed to what i am
Technician · 2024-08-03 05:48
study by books instead and try finding friends online going through the same struggle you are through.
>any hope for university
university teachers have finite knowledge too and often times they suck
PS: cute pic btw

i am currently trying to do both, thanks for bringing it up.
>university teachers have finite knowledge too and often times they suck
when i said university, i meant achieving a diploma and also the social aspect of it (meeting people, not those annoying fuarrrking parties) sorry for not being clear.

turn off the internet, no other way

>turn off the internet, no other way
easier said then done, i am trying to be social IRL as much as i can to avoid the internet, finding social centres and such, although i know i won't gain friends from this, am still trying.

people exist in solitude without the internet, and have done so for millennium. arts, reading, exploration, etc. i tried to fake being a normal and it failed hard, so i just read, write, relax with my few friends, hike, and program offline now. but now i'm just talking about myself, lol.

funny you mentioned it, my ancestors were nomadic or at the very least semi sedentary. i always dreamed of wanting to live in such an enviroment ever since i used to visit my aunts house in the middle of the desert
but thanks to me being born in a city, i feel like it has ruined it. it is simply a futile endeavour

true, looking at the west. people contribute to greedy capital and act like it is a societal duty

there are multiple threads here on how to be self-sufficient, don't give up :) many city folks have done it, the people who successfully done so nowadays tend to stay low online, or wrote their accounts pre-internet

But isn't stupidity related to simply the lack of skills? But by reading your post you seem to be always tired or unfocused. Maybe try to sleep a little more.
Please tell me more about this, lain. The only time when I remember being like this is when I'm sleepy. Sometimes I get enough sleep but still feel sleepy in the middle of school, maybe I'm demotivated, or just need to wash my face.

stupidity has more to it, learned it the hard way.
>Sometimes I get enough sleep but still feel sleepy in the middle of school, maybe I'm demotivated, or just need to wash my face.
i thought that as well but i later found out it has nothing to do with sleep or motivation, even when i am motivated or wanted to (for example) help someone, i find a way to fuarrrk it up lol

Sounds like ADHD, I was going through a similar experience and it’s kind of a self fulfilling prophecy in some ways. All throughout my life I felt like an idiot, but not in the stereotypical zero patience out of control kid you’d think of.
I have inattentive ADHD, and instead of boring you with all of the details (go see a therapist yourself) I’d like to bring up the two main challenges I’ve had; my lack of dopamine and my intense anxiety, the first is self explanatory enough as my brain doesn’t produce enough dopamine so unlike the average person I struggle to feel motivated, anxiety is probably the more pressing concern however. My anxiety was both a blessing and a curse, it created that motivation but with it came chest pains, headaches and thoughts filled with even more… static than before. Some people never learn this about themselves and let their anxiety drive their decisions, but that will only get you through life or death type situations and will make you an empty husk, which makes it harder to socialize, which itself will make you feel even more cold and empty and perpetuates the cycle.
I don’t have all of the answers yet myself, but I’m making progress. What works for me or the others in this thread isn’t going to be universal, we all have the same end goal for the most part but we start in completely different places, so the paths might intersect but rarely if ever will you find someone on the exact same path.

Just find a construction site that says you will do whatever bitch work they need done. Don't let them break you and you'll be fine. I am a high school dropout who started as a laborer living under my parents roof. Eventually I got a soykafty apartment while I built up my credit and now own a home. I don't even make a lot I'm just a shut-in and don't waste money on soykaf but food, games, and expensive monster pussy sex toys. It could all be so easy just be ready to do sucky work .

sorry for the late response but i am glad you are doing your best, never thought about ADHD like this and never knew it had an inattentive type, obviously i can't say if i have it or not since i have yet to go to therapy (i will soon go) but you opened my eyes in a way. thank you and i cannot stress enough how grateful i am.
