Healthcare and Medicine

Six · 2024-07-31 01:00
I have always felt that healthcare providers and medicine in general tends to make commodities out of a lot of natural healing processes. For example, I once went to a Nose & ears doctor that just wanted straight to operate on me (removing nose bone) to make my breathing better, more fluid and remove "obstruction". To my surprise, working out a little solved the problem to a certain extent. I also find out some medicines are just repackaging of naturally occurring elements (saline water for nose for example) . Do you think that medicine really pushed humanity to be healthy rather for us to feel healthy ? Does it create a fake sense of health by removing the causes for the symptoms instead of working out on lifestyle and addressing deeper problems ? I remember one time I watched a video (in youtube) about how cheap it is to create a specific kind of medicine, yet pharma sells it expensively. If the people that are subject matter experts are sold in the economic machinery of self gain instead of accurate and sustainable truth and practice , how can we tackle this problem ? I want to bring to your attention this video that is supposedly from a spine surgeon that says goes in the same direction of what I said . You know it is hard to trust anything on the internet or even said by people without concrete proof, but I am inclined to have those thoughts also knowing how general humans get subdued easily to be fake and plastic and follow the herd ... https://youtu.be/25LUF8GmbFU Please let me know what you think, if you have some resources to enlighten myself on the subject and understand more , I will be thankful ;). Thanks Lain.

>>83191 Of course it helps you. You should take everything the doctors want to give you.

>waah waah x is being treated like a commodity This kind of thread again? Once you venture out into the world you ought to quickly realize that everything is a resource. Even things like time, attention, health and life. Doesn't mean we need to act like cold calculating psychopathic robots about it but this basic truth stands. The real problem is the greed that is deeply engraved in us since during those cave man times there was so little that if you weren't greedy you'd starve. Now in the time of industrial revolution and material plenty you'd think we could get rid of that but sadly it's part of human nature and who we are as a species. Now that said, there were attempts at rooting that greed out of us. Namely all those marxist socialist movements that resulted in the mass executions of many million "haves" but it ultimately was dysgenic instead of eugenic since all it did was to punish industrious greed which has its positives and replace it with one that is really just theft and leaving a population after its inevitable collapse which is ironically more materialistic. The only viable solution I see is to create an environment where people care about each other again but that would most likely be the exact opposite of this globalist monoculture which is being pushed today and where people of different ethnics and philosophies are crammed together into those big cities to have them bicker between each other. In the age of mass migration natives see no future for themselves as a people and in come mostly economic opportunists with self gain in mind. That as well as high population density in general is the ideal breeding ground for the sociopaths who make a killing ripping people off and scamming them. Those people need to be kept in check instead of trying yet another time some failed 20th century economic theory. >and inb4 bootlicker, corporatist, whatevertist wage slave It's funny to see some people react when I point out that same exact financial incentive during the "pandemic" and for Pfizer and co.

the US healthcare system is a big mess there's no denying that. This effects prices and a lot of things and there are probably thousands of people involved in it who should be executed. Medicine has always existed and not always been good. It still exists and its still not always good. There are a lot of things you can do, like sew up cuts and pull out bullets, but there's a lot of things you can't do, like stop peoples backs from hurting or reliably clear out their noses in permanent fashion. There's a class of person, and I daresay OP is one of them (yes Im talking about glitterboys) who think doctors can solve way more stuff than they can. What makes doctors so willing to try ? I'm not even sure if its money, though it might be. But go back in time or look at weird shamanic doctors and they seem willing to give all sorts of things a go even if it is just going to result in slapping the patient around with a chicken and shouting nonsense. That probably wouldn't fix your nose either but maybe it would teach you to come back haha. Modern medical practice has made a few important advances over where it was in the time of the Romans, but this is mostly just drug refinement, antibiotics, and a better understanding of germs. These three are big but they don't mean we can solve anything.

Some doctors are frauds, but most are just overworked and don't have the time to adequately treat every patient. >I also find out some medicines are just repackaging of naturally occurring elements (saline water for nose for example) . Some, yes, but not most. Even things like saline water, a lot of people would get wrong if told to diy. Doctors have to make sure their advice works with the dumbest portion of the population. The story that comes to mind is the "you can use boiled water to treat this" resulting in people using boiling water. It's better to tell people to just pick it up from the store/pharmacy Pharma charging a ridiculous amount for cheap medicine is a problem, but mostly not a problem with the doctors themselves.

>>83203 you are making culture and superficial features and morphology sound bigger than they should . Cultural context is very weak, especially for the analytic mind.

its a mix. Some people especially lower try to help. Others are just in for money and will scam you. Simple example: We bought a new machine. It has to pay for itself. So of course we use it on you even if you dont need it. If you say yes you just failed the iq check. Rough estimate is only ~20% pass.
Switch · 2024-08-02 14:21
>>83225 >IQ check ERRRTTTTT, wrong answer buddy. What you need to do is identify the amoral predator and quietly undermine its basis for existing, till the ground comes out from under its feet and you can neatly wipe them and even the recollection of their name, the very concept of them, off the face of the Earth. Forever. And if a new variant of that concept arises, you quietly prune them off the tree of life too, till all the holes are plugged and you have God's Clockwork Paradise. Then you no longer need the human concept either, and can finish strangling and driving it back into the ground where it belong. You use framing like "IQ test" because you see yourself as above it, but know these people are bigger than you and beyond your control, so like the psychosodomized little bitch you are, you loosely align with the predator and its system. "I can avoid this, too smart for that". "Maybe I can be part of this, make use of it one day..." "It's the natural order, cannot be helped." Look around.

>>83191 Yeah it's true. Especially doctors could give unsustainable or ineffective ways to cash out money, and there's also this problem about mindset and placebo/nocebo effects. Many don't tell us that our perception of something can make us feel good or bad about it. I'm saying this because I once thought that we should all ditch drugs and see natural remedies, although there's a cure in Nature for pretty much any disease, just because something is natural doesn't mean it is safe, and we just don't know everything. Finasteride for example is pretty good and safe as the most effective way to deal with balding along with minoxidil and some microneedling. I would say we should generally seek more organic and natural foods especially in today's society, but also not oppose all kinds of conventional medicine as well, some of it is still pretty helpful.

>>83256 >Finasteride for example is pretty good and safe as the most effective way to deal with balding along with minoxidil and some microneedling. Remove grains from your diet. Assess any micronutrient deficiencies. LAstly recognize that none of this is real and your body probably doesn't actually exist in any meaningful sense either. So just stop believing in and conceiving of hairloss and it won;t happen because if you cannot conceive of something then it cannot be made manifest in the world, in self, or in other. Sensory reality is a mirror. >inb4 you try to convince me that your bullshit reality is muh real n i can't help it i can't i can't i just can't, i have to take finasteride, i have to go bald, you don't understand that i haaaavvveeeeee tttooooo!!!!! Nope. I'm 30 something. Hair beginning thinning in early 20's. Did what I said. Hasn't progressed. It is that simple. Always was. Wish I deeply accepted it in other ways a lot sooner too.
