Depression Due to Hormones and Feeling Weird

Liet Kynes · 2024-07-01 20:13
So I got my T tested and it is absurdly low. Now it made me reevaluate the last 15 years of my life. Was it actually autism, or was it actually the hormonal imbalance that made me feel like soykaf? Now I am mentally checked out and in diagnostic /kiosk mode mentally. I feel like priority number one is getting my health , including hormones with a Dr. Slip up to pay, followed by financial life, and then enjoying myself. I don't feel like diving into relationships or anything like that. It does not mean I don't find the opposite sex attractive, but I don't feel like I need to fix my autism for them or any of that and feel a bit too bit broken wig my health problems to even try. In a way it is depressing, in another way it is freeing. It is just a very off feeling.

>>82492 Jesus, you think too much. Take some T and call it a day. And you don't want to socialize, then don't. Stop overthinking everything, life is enjoyable only if it is simple. What are you even looking for?
Lord Nikon · 2024-07-02 07:55
the first comment is based. i would also offer some compassion and ask if you really need to take it. im a girl with high T i do too much and think too little. and get into fire a lot. but i know that its a specific type of personality that develops when you talk to your opposites. so i do that to improve, but i dont think theres something broken within me. like with you. its just maladaptive to be alone. be with someone. life is about community. consciousness is created collectively, never by overthinking alone, in a room. live fully.
Mentat · 2024-07-02 08:17
FPBP If you really want to know, you should review that question after getting your hormones after a few weeks. months probably. I honestly can't tell how hormone imbalance would affect someone and to what extent. It usually isn't the first thing that's attributed for someone feeling like soykaf, you know? But then there's probably going to be other things that could improve your moral over the course of the coming days. So eh. Hope you get a handle on your situation. Sounds like you are on the right track :)

>>82500 >>82502 What is your deal, all of you, with hormones? From the birth of mankind to one generation ago we didn't know what it is or that we could change their rate. Guess what, nobody gave a fuarrrk, everyone lived his life and nothing have been gained since then. How the fuarrrk is it an issue if you have high or low T? I know if you have high E and T you become unstable and brutal, but that's not even the point. Whatever it is you have it is what you have. Try to change for an ideal and all you will do is to chase a ghost at the cost of who you are. Learn to like yourself and your problems stop right here right now.

>>82502 Thanks. I had thought for the longest time I was just a gamerican, and I just needed to buck up. But after trying Gaba and DHEA and both brightening my mood and having low T, the pieces seem to fit. It just confirms the *you are a beta male* feeling I felt for a while and wish someone would have told me sooner.
Cutter · 2024-07-02 20:02
What even is considered low though? There is natural variance between people on their hormones even in same sex. I would think it depends on the individual since it depends on how sensitive and populous their hormone receptors are.
Otto Normalverbraucher · 2024-07-02 20:11
>>82519 low T is a problem for women as well. Causes low sex drive, depression, and generally a lack of engagement with life. Pretty much any hormone you can think of has multiple uses in the body and is necessary for the body to function properly. "Low T" is low because there is not enough for the body to function properly. That's it.
Unidentified · 2024-07-02 21:25

>>82520 Probably true. Dont mean to be a sexist prick, I just don't want to speak about stuff and fuarrrk up a woman's hormones because it is stuff I don't know about. But I agree proper hormone balance is important. The depression, fat, and anxiety are what get me.
Elliot Alderson · 2024-07-02 21:33
>>82514 This, also T levels can be fuarrrked by exposure to modern diet, and a lot of medical problems that many people don't know about but probably should. A more recent trend is all the /fit/ people who got into working out to become chads and get over their depression overdo it, since there is a correlation and yet unknown causation of testicular problems with people who spend a lot of time in the gym. An example would be vericoceles that cause men lot's of problems ranging from fertility to low T.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1twHY4w-NkKLqBkq05JDx8zNV62pLBzrn8OZiWFDzQbQ/edit?usp=sharing the only autism worthy of being considered is political autism. join the IPA yourself & find out some people feel bad about being autists - yet the most successful people i have met in my life seek them out. if you believe propaganda that was created to enslave millions of people mostly enforced in the most mind-obliterating social order - you either dont manage to love yourself, or other people. none of these are necessary. if you're looking for ways to put yourself down, there are better ones, like talking to the Stanford committee of sociology additionally, permanently moving to America is a good way to end up in a place where everyone believes this, there are little to no philosophically minded people around, and experience life in a mad house. "I had to keep on acting deaf, if I wanted to hear at all". reading william james interesting thoughts come up, a neopragmatist approach of a reality transcendentalist, an american innovator with a belief in a miracle living in a different world, its almost like it can be used. most european countries marginalize america, i dont like blaming the people, but marginalizing shrinks is best. Foucault calls this "blindness towards the subject" - i think it has to do with lacking a soul. unless written by matt damon, most shrinks are not poets for a reason, the gift of an artist being loving observation - & that is far from dumb ultimately, life is about exploration. people call scientists "the children that managed to survive" & artists - "the children that saved themselves". Sagan likens astronomers to children looking for a signal from a person who is now eternally gone There is a mystery of men that should not be penetrated. It's not our place, that's why life is sad. A governor that does not understand that is never your problem if someone is not actively interested in sociopolitical education - it is also not your problem. at least in the scope of my life, the future of these people is immediately out of the scope of my responsibility, because they dont feel that for the life of others

on the Battlestar: Galactica ride in Singapore after a few people asked me for photographs i met a girl who was from Hong Kong and cried because she wanted political freedom for her people. i genuinely explained that most people she will meet in the next few years will not fully respect the noumenological gap and mentioned the fact that most of us physically cant go beyond plain causality into concepts of the beyond, like bidirectionality and self-emergent disembodied consciousness, so we cant fully appreciate singularity then i mentioned the acceleration that will be brought about by the cyberspace, the way power will be held through information capital, and the fact that it means that it can be already accessible - to a select few people. which means that technically some sort of a movement can emerge that actually made her stop crying i thought that was pretty cool but yeah louis we are all incredibly sorry about your testosterone deficiency it must be hard to date several people and stonewall people you love making them wait forever i genuinely hope you find your suicidal dose of testo to end your deep suffering or whatever but dont infe into any of my forums ever again and next time you're going for an sti let it be a mentally impaired child

when you train for IPA, which is known for its ties with the movement of the american psyop, they give you papers to read, and they share the ones they've been given for their training. Fascinating, wildly one of them dubs autism "life in the skin" (as if, autists only remember the touch of the mother, base relationship to the world formed though the realm of touch). in sng, people who once also were part of subsets of mass propaganda, perceive it similarly, "the shell". as if, the autistic exists on the level of skin, unable to detach itself from the immediate material reality onto the symbolic socio-psychological realm. bion takes a step ahead and says concern for reality is formed through love

>>83012 >maybe its just that everyone is fat and no one is actually fit >or maybe they're fat and ugly because of microplastics Maybe it's a mixture of both, but which can you actually control? Unless you're a statistically minuscule circumstance, you can control your BMI, despite microplastics, and whatever else people claim mess with your hormones.

>>83323 Testosterone is good. Its healthy but it can come with its own things. Im autistic, 20 of age, building testosterone while working out is very easy and imminent. Instead of being sad or depressed its some obscure mixture, between sheer madness melancholy and depression. I have searched for a medical or other term describing this but have not found anything that puts those things into one term. Get your testosterone, workout, and start punching some walls destroying your hands. Its what i do and it works, in all my lunacy. Much love lain
