Which reminds me, is there something like Steal This Wiki, but for Europe? A lot of advice is generic, but still a lot of it is specific to America, which makes me wonder.

maybe its my own behavior but despite living in europe and hanging within some hackerspace communities all sources on those kind of topics I've encountered stemmed from american authors. There are of course people involved in things like lost places sharing secret spots like entry points to paris catacombs, old bunkers etc. but the books i've seen shared are just translations of american authors if not outright english originals. Not that we are lacking in survival books - there are old antique books even predating us founding age still in circulation but i've encountered those only on personal hunts for interesting old books not shared among the former communities. And in other aspects its simply not possible - squatting like in US wont work here. There is also little reason to make trouble when you can claim welfare and get free housing. They give you barely enough to life and ask you to spend all your savings first so its soykaf for building your wealth but it works if you just want to stay of the street and got nothing. And of course some people simply hide their business and do welfare + under the table work to outperform regular work and still build wealth.
As for your original post i think many people dont even know how to respond so you get no replies. Its nice you happy but also fuarrrked you had to move states and rely on a friends help.

Behold the american mindset, which proves the point of your post btw.

i fuarrrking wish i had friends to let me crash on their couches. about 10 days away from homelessness myself and the consequences of being unlikable and unavailable have caught up with me. spent almost a decade bumming around on discord and somehow never managed to convince another human i was worth keeping around.

Same (I'm >>79581). I just don't have many online friends and fewer IRL friends. And none of them can help. I've been through it before though. Good luck.

Ano, did any of the advice from the previous thread help?

Happy that it worked out for you the way it did. I've been homeless for 10 months now and my conclusion is that it mostly is a bad place to be in.
