Weak flesh · 2024-04-02 13:37
Does any other lainanon feel weak after not having been excersizing fot a day or two.
It's as if the body detereorates, feeling all its strength disperse. What even is the strength a man should have? With these modern times physical strenght has no meaning aside of vanity. Despite that it feels as if the body rejects becoming weak and wants to be strong. Or is it a mental phenomenom.
I've been going to the gym less this month compared to february. Reason being my religious duty to fast during the month Ramadan making me feel like a sloth. However it's always like that when I'm lacking on my physical activities.
Any lainanon insight here?

Physical strength has a lot of purpose besides vanity- it keeps the structures of your body together. The brain can't function without the body, so you should take care of both. When it comes to physical health, strength improves, cardio lengthens. I don't think anyone would argue that a sedentary lifestyle is healthy, even if you don't need to move heavy things around.
Even beyond physical exercise, humans need to experience variation. Too little stress, be it physical or mental, and you become apathetic and depressive.

I feel the same too. Maybe you just get the illusion that your body is improving by lifting weights. after looking in the mirror, and you become addicted to it. This may be why you feel bad when you let go
