How do we think?

I know this might sound weird but do y'all ever think about how we came to be? Like how am I thinking right now and is this real? I don't necessarily struggle with this but I'm just interested in knowing what y'all think.(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)

>how am I thinking right now a very complicated blob of molecules takes in sensory data from its various sensors and processes it, piecing together an experience of the world that you might call "qualia" or "awareness". The blob of molecules has numerous faculties for interpreting and responding to this experience. That's not special; bugs do it. What is special is that huge parts of this blob of molecules are devoted to things like memory, sociality, and language. All of these faculties are so highly developed that sometimes when the blob of molecules says "I" it really is referring only to those parts of itsdelf. Sometimes it "thinks" which means the linguistic part of it represents knowledge in a way similar to how it would be spoken, but does not speak it. These are both useful adaptations that allow the blob of molecules to survive and thrive. >is this real? As real as it gets, bubba.
