Hi, all
Today marks the decennial of the #/g/punk IRC channel on irc.rizon.net. We've cleared the ban list for today's events. I found the channels years ago from some chats I had here, so I thought it only fitting to let you all know we'll be celebrating today.
Here are some of the activities we brainstormed together in advance:
>/g/punk goes /ck/, let's cook together or have a cook-off
>q3a, movie, mumble whatever worked before. I liked the cheesy hacker movie vibes
>wipe banlist Present Day, Present Time! AHAHAHAHAHA! Present Day, Present Time! AHAHAHAHAHA! Present Day, Present Time! AHAHAHAHAHA! (do it)
>doom
>lich makes a movie list: https://pad.riseup.net/p/gpunk-10year-movies-keep
>minetest
>xonotic
>survive and prosper for another 10 years
>slam poetry featuring GPT_J_BOT
>battle of wesnoth
>illicit minecraft
>challenge pissing
>/g/punk draws
Most people who said they would be around won't be available until like 9-12 hours from now, but I wanted to get this out a little early so people have time to set up irssi or whatever if they haven't been on IRC lately. You could also preinstall xonotic, mpv, mumble, etc.
We don't have a super rigid range of time we're doing stuff, some people said they'll be up late for this. Hope to see some of you there!
Feel free to move this post to relevant board, just put it on humanity :>
