i have a problems

burnthewitch · 2024-01-26 08:10
hey lainons! I am studying gastronomy. No matter how comfortable and trouble-free they say it is, culinary arts requires a lot of effort and dedication. My problem starts here. I have type 1 bipolar and I have no friends. I only have a girlfriend and she can't always be with me. I feel extremely lonely and depressed all the time. Right now, I need to sit down and learn French, watch relevant documentaries and improve myself in different ways. That's why I started using Ritalin frequently. I am constantly damaging my kidneys and brain. I became the president of the music club on campus, but even there everyone hates me. I'm 21 but I can't stop being a loser. All I can do is pretend to be strong outside. That's why I need your help. What do you do to focus? How do you not listen to the hurtful things people say?

>What do you do to focus? Personally boredom is main cause so I modulate difficulty with distractions like music. Just avoid any language you understand so its background noise and doesn't lead to thinking about lyrics which is too much distraction. >How do you not listen to the hurtful things people say? Treat it as a game and get back at them rather than taking it personal. Acknowledging what you are to yourself makes you bullet-proof because the thing people really get offend over is facts you rather wish to ignore.

>>77235 >How do you not listen to the hurtful things people say? Remember that no one is perfect, as long as you give your best you should be satisfied with yourself. Everyone has flaws and every person at sometimes it's going to act soykafty, mess up... etc but when someone critiques you with malice they don't acknowledge that, instead they think they would have done a better job... except... THEY DIDN'T! You did it. I'm ESL and I don't know how to phrase this correctly, but most of the boos always come from people that never do any soykaf, they just like to watch and critique the results just like watching TV, "oh, I would dress better than X celebrity", "Clearly that F1 driver doesn't know how to corner"... and yet they don't know how to dress, or drive. You should never care about their opinions, only listen to those who have passed or have done the same things and they are willing to help you in a respectful way. I know it's hard, because everyone likes to take pride on their actions, but you must learn how to know when someones opinion isn't worth soykaf. I learnt that from my old boss, while people who wouldn't bought anything from him would give him hell in every email while clients were really happy with our work but wouldn't say much/share results and insights unless asked. Ironic right? Shitty people are louder than appreciative people. Hope it makes sense what I'm saying, I'm a long time lurker but never dare to reply to anything since my english is like kicking dead whales down the beach and I can't translate my toughts correctly.

For starters wean off the Ritalin. It is only making you think you are doing better but you're doing worse and puts you at risk of going full manic. You must not have done any research on it. If you run out of supply before you can complete weaning take pseudoephedrine normal dosage on the box to keep away withdrawals. To wean off medication and recreational drugs you have to follow a hyperbolic curve of doses basically you reduce dosage gradually and more gradual the smaller the dosage becomes but you also could go real slow and steady and do slightly smaller doses each day consistently. You have to be careful so do some reading on how to do it right. Plus i dont know what other meds you take for possible interactions. I just stopped trying so hard. Trying really hard you wear yourself down and dont get anywhere because your brain has no chance to run tasks in the background. Just relax and try to be more organized and have a more scheduled sleep cycle.
