I was always told to be a good person and help others. No, I don't mean being a pushover but being a genuine positive person to help your friends and loved ones in the direst of times.
I tried this many times. For example, I helped a friend find a goal and be sort of a father figure to him since he never had one, he worked hard and achieved it, only to decide its not for him and went back to self-pity and aimlessness, fair enough. Except I can see he is now jealous that I'm still holding onto the same goal that we both achieved at the same time but he caved in to the pressure and gave up but its somehow "my fault", he thinks that I think i'm better than him and pretty much cut me off, I'm certain I did nothing wrong.
Another similiar example, I guided another "lost" friend in my college friendgroup, others laughed him off and only used him for entertainment. I was the only one who he could be genuine with and talk about problems openly. I gave him guidance on what to do to fix himself, literal simple instructions but my help fell on deaf ears, he continued to fuarrrk up and prefers to interact with the ones who treat him as entertainment over me. Not only that but I suspect he laughs at me behind my back, calling me dumb yet he is the one who ended up dropping out after wasting 3 years repeating university classes and taking gap breaks.
This one hurts the most. Have a best friend, really, we known eachother since we were kids and we are now in our mid 20s. We shared the same laughs and tears, an unbreakable bond that I won't find anywhere else, or so I thought. I can already see the cracks forming, like my previous examples, I told him what to do, guided him during bleak times and he did achieve the stuff, for a brief moment, only to throw it all away and now gets salty during some moments that I'm doing better than him. He had more girlfriends than me and is probably better than me as a ladies man and yet he admitted to being jealous of my goodlooks despite my badluck with the ladies. He is bitter about me having a car and license but when I told him to start getting his, he said no thanks and bought a motorcycle which he crashed and gave up riding after spending money on mandatory lessons, after wasting another 2 years, he still has no license and rides public transport. Apparently female attention and partner gives him life too, without that he gets stuck in a rut and goes nowwhere.
Similiarly, at a job I had, a coworker was being nasty to me for no reason. I was polite and ignored his negative attitude, he did respond better but only to fall back to being nasty. Why was he nasty? because its somehow my fault he didn't wear a condom and had a few children while being the same age as me and he worked the same minimum wage position to support them.
It's soykaf like this thats turning me into a sociopath. Seeing these dumb assholes suffer for their mistakes gives me joy and it logically makes sense. Why would I be sad about it? I did my part and they rejected it and on top of that blamed me. No more of this. No more of being kind and compassionate.
Sabo Engle · 2023-12-19 18:10
You were never kind or compassionate. Your post reeks of narcissism; your positive relationships are only with people you consider worse off than yourself, and consist solely of you trying to "guide" them.
Nobody important · 2023-12-20 00:00
you are a sociopath but in a wildly different sense than what you delusion, heres an explanation.
firstly i well present my delusions of the terms:
psycopath: someone who doesnt care about "others". many varieties. such as the most well known, the violent one who does not care for others so they use extreme violence on them. this is stupid for obvious reasons (the enforcement of "justice" in human food systems). another kind is the brain changer, gives people what they desire and other tactics to easily change the direction of sleep walkers for various purposes and self growth... you get the point
sociopath: someone whose food source is the idiot masses while believing the masses to be inferior to them. in other words, and idiot masses fetish. has an interesting withdrawal if no idiot masses sustain them for long enough
i provided the psycopath definition simply to avoid the incessent amounts of confusions between the two terms, anyways, now to the point...
you are a sociopath, which means in my perspective, you are a stupid piece of soykaf, like how you percieve those who rejected your holy touch, that is also a mockery. the purpose of showing expressly my appraisment of termed sociopaths is to avoid your potential romanticization of my term given coming from you thinking i feel strongly about you, and if you think i am being contradictory, know that i mean it literally. (i care as much as you as the soykaf on the ground that you may come accross, give or take with some more amusement and less conditioned disgust) the reason for writing this much is to practice my writing.
here is your relationship with the world at the time of writing assuming it is not a convoluted facade/psyop.
main belief: kindness solves everything, you are good and kind and that should make everyone love you
safe action: "help" others by believing you are a helpful person and spewing from your mouth in patterns that may activate the same "kindness is good" response in others.
feared action: acting discordantly with the main belief; responding instead of reacting with the safe action or another action guided by a emotionally contradictory other belief (note i say emotionally because beliefs dont have any tangible weight or direction to be contradictory, only different effects and places in ones system of delusions and illusions that appear contradictory when they send opposite emotional signals)
catastrophe (caused by feared action): the people are still "stupid". they are unsaved and you could have helped them with your holy, loooving touch. i wonder "who" this reminds me of...
now don't believe me, but i can guess a variety of reasons of the behaviour of others when you gave them your "holy touch" i will providide one example although likely you will still not be convinced.
coworker wants to feed off you by spewing so that you are "dishonoured" so to speak. your nice actions give a debt, they eventually realise the guilt of feeding upon you and try to act nicer which means at least they are not a psycopath or a sociopath since they were guilty of the situation, HOWEVER, the guilt soon became too great and so they ressent the edge you have over them so they become mean again to you, they could become more guilty and then forgive you completely (an outcome i have observed many times), but it seems that has not happened meaning you are probably also infuriated and "give up" on those who "reject your holy touch" so back to square one but you hate them now and revoke your holy touch on them due to your hate.
if i have logicked correctly about the situation then you will see that i am able to know your behaviour more than you from a simple forum post and then belive me maybe? i say the chances are very low, probably you will either not read this, ignore it, make up another belif to justify this, ignore it due to the strong feelings and confusion induced by understanding this post, or get angry at me... all are more probable outcomes, or at least more probable to be more probable outcomes.

no. stop this soykaf right fuarrrking now
what happened to you is absolutely normal, people that let you down are not assholes, but pretty average human beings.

maybe his narcissistic cynicism only came after years of optimistic altruism the prime payout from which seems to be the contempt and jealousy of those he tried to help. A sad fruit born of his honest and well meaning charity. Maybe best to follow a good example and restrict your help to those who help themselves.

Yeah "stop doing this stop doing that". Why can't they do that? I learned to control my feelings, when my friends get something that I don't, I stopped getting jealous. If I could do it, why couldn't they?

Because i'm just fuarrrking better. Thats all there is to it. Thats the truth to life. You think Lions think about love and compassion when they devour a random zebra and tear the unborn cub out of the womb. They don't deserve what I have if they don't even wanna get it themselves in the first place. fuarrrk em all.
This is why functioning psychopaths are successful, the world or society atleast isn't built on care and compassion. Its all about money, aggression and deceipt.

That's exactly what OP would like to portray it as, but they were narcissistic from the start. The cynicism part only comes because they decided none of the broken people they've been "helping" met their standards.

OP here, thanks. They are probably the kind of people I describe in my main post. I've relaxed abit and thought it through.
My problem isn't people not recognising me for my help, its them antagonising me and not recognising its their own fault. Maybe I came off wrong in my post but I am not looking for them to worship me for being their "saviour". I think I was always abit altruistic and too caring of others, in school I wasn't bullied but I saw the popular people and always thought they deserve it, i'm inferior to them, I could never be like them.
During past confrontations, I would always try to reason and "bend the knee" as in be friendly and admit my fault quickly and apologise. Only resorting to violence if the situation calls for it.
One time I fought a "gangster" dude at school, they tried to pick a fight with me (it was just a one time thing). They saw that I was quiet and didn't really have any other gangsta friends to back me up. So the guy made up soykaf and confronted me, I was chill and told him I didnt do anything, so he shoved me expecting me not to do anything, I shoved him back and he fell, he got up then immediately started throwing punches and I returned the same.
It was broken up by other kids and the bell rang so it was time to go. It ended equally and none of us got knocked out or fallen over. I saw the dude again later on and came upto him and tried to be friendly and reasonable (thats just how I was in the past, I didnt know how the world or people worked back due to staying in doors most days of my early teens) he immediately got hostile, cracked an insult about his punches making my nose twitch like rabbit and walked off, he saw me later on and gave me a slap on the back of the head out of nowwhere, back then I was too worried about getting expelled so I didn''t do anything but it never ended with daily/regular harrasssment or bullying, so no real harm done I guess.
Except it did, it added to the hidden bottle of pent up emotions in my head. Looking back it was a dominance/insecurity thing. They picked their targets accordingly to avoid losing their reputation, so fighting a known boxer kid or another group of gangtas was out of question for them. He was expecting me to get knocked out or cry but instead I made him look weak infront of others and damaged his face. I should have went all in and given him brain damage or broken jaw the second time I saw him, he was alone anyway.
The second time, I was at a job and a coworker was frustrated and started telling me what to do (he was not a boss or manager, same position as me) I refused and proceeded to be reasonable and calm, he got even more enraged and punched my cheek, he was skinny and fragile so it was pretty weak lol. What did I do? nothing. I didn't report it or fight him, he left and I continued to work after the punch. Why did I do that? I was still innocent as this was my first job after school and thought that being fair and truthful is the right way to live besides I got really big goals to work on and this is just another bag of soykaf to deal with. After a few days he came upto me and apologised and shook my hand and from then on basically started licking my ass.
Its been a while since then but i'm worried that during my next confrontation that has yet to come, I will finally lose the plot and land myself in prison.

Insofar as the subject has come up, I figure I could probably count on two hands the people I've met who actually understand narcissism. So it seems no more reasonable to take random diagnoses from internet people than it would be to take it as a professional opinion when people call someone a narcissist irl.

i do admit my previous post was pretty retarded but I never was trying to say that you were trying to get people to think you are a saviour, rather you are trying to make yourself out to be a saviour because that belief acts as a coping mechanism for your cynicism to those who "rejected your help". seeing as you continue to bitch and moan about immature scuffles that happened back in middle school or whatever its apparant that you probably will continue to believe you are superior to me or whatever bleief as justification, so referencing my last post (again its pretty retarded but i still know my point) you choose to get angry at me and make up more metaphysical nonsense to justify why your right and im wrong. so go ahead, believe your better than me i dont really give a soykaf, no geniunly i dont care that you think im wrong. but if i do have one last thing to say its that your original post was only made so you can feel better about yourself, essentially masturbation. go ahead and criticise this post with some more metaphysical bullshit and criticise my words and this sentence itself i dont really care and also dont care if saying i dont care makes you still care or not.

I think the thing to reflect on would be why you gave the examples you gave. The first two posts accused you of being a sociopath, because your reasoning for disliking others is due to how they responded to your help. Now maybe they're just the examples you gave, but honestly, if the fact that people refuse your help (and that alone) is grounds for you to hate them, maybe you do have some sociopathic tendencies. I am not saying you have to feel bad for these people, because at the end of the day, they did make their own choices. But feeling joy in their suffering isn't really normal. Except maybe in the case of the coworker. In saying all this though, I have felt similar at times. I think the best thing to do is just to say no. Just ignore people. Don't help them unless they ask for it, and if they do, don't expect anything out of it. I won't deny that people do suck.

Did you ever ask him why he was so nasty to you?
>It's soykaf like this thats turning me into a sociopath. Seeing these dumb assholes suffer for their mistakes gives me joy and it logically makes sense.
How does it logically make sense to you that seeing 'dumb assholes' suffer for their mistakes gives you joy?
>Why would I be sad about it?
Why would somebody else's suffering make you sad?
>I did my part and they rejected it and on top of that blamed me.

Why did they reject it?

People who do no research feel belittled when you give them information.
>No, no, no, check this out, 2+2=4! This "math" can make your life so much easier
>They resent you for knowing something they didn't, ignore it and seek alternatives to elevate themselves above you
But there are no alternatives to facts. The distinction is that some people seek knowledge, some 'people' don't. I feel like seeking knowledge is an admission of your internal failings, to say, "I don't know, but I want to."
The alternative is "I know everything." To inform these 'people' is to assault their infallible ego; It is not you who is the sociopath, Lain.

>How does it logically make sense to you that seeing 'dumb assholes' suffer for their mistakes gives you joy?
Not OP but phrased differently this is an extremely normal emotion
>Seeing someone who started a fight get 'corrected'
>Seeing someone who is abusive get 'corrected'
>Seeing someone who you told the right way do something wrong, "If you keep running stop signs, you're going to cause an accident."
These are verification of causality, and it's entirely normal to respect them, and to laugh at people who don't. OPs phrasing is a young man's diatribe, but it's normal. For further phrasing, to demonstrate love in the same "You better respect causality." pretext, I give you the mother and father
>Mother; Child tries to touch a hot stove, "Don't touch that, it's hot."
>'What's hot?'
>It'll hurt you, don't touch it.
>Father; Child tries to touch a hot stove, "Don't touch that, it's hot."
>'What's hot?'
>Alright fuarrrk it, go ahead then
Is the father a sociopath? Does he want to see his son suffer, or does he want his son to learn TWO extremely valuable lessons? The first one is what is hot, the second one is listen to people who care about you. We don't call the father a sociopath, we call the child a child. And if it's an adult, we call them a child.
>But I'm BETTER THEN EVERYONE! I DESERVE to run stop signs! Everyone else needs to WAIT ON ME!
This is a sociopath, an idiot, a child, and we should relish their disrespect being corrected. I just hope they don't hurt an actual person with their obscene behavior.
