Hi /hum/, I've been living life according to your principles for the past few months and it's worked out quite well.
-I categorize people into 'friend' or 'foe' based on a few political and social factors -- 'friend' is complex and nuanced while 'foe' is a monoculture
-Criticizing me or my beliefs immediately puts you in the 'foe' category.
-I don't have discussions any more, they are a waste of time. Among friends I repeat slogans and share uncontroversial "hot takes" to amplify my in-group status and among foes I make low-effort attacks. Sometimes I will put a little more effort into a fight -- because that's all any interaction with foes is to me -- and copy/paste some prepared talking points and read a wikipedia page or two. Only when a foe is dangerously close to being persuasive.
-I no longer seriously think about why I believe things, I just believe them. Introspection is a worthless activity.
-I spend 6 hours a day making posts defending my friends and attacking my foes. This is very important!
Results:
>I'm very popular with my internet friends
>My family barely talks to me
>I'm still depressed but now I have somebody to blame for it (the foes!)
>I fear going outside, the outside is too complicated
In all, it's gone super well! Thank you to all the other lainons that helped me on this journey with your posts. Every thread filled me with the rage I needed to continue.
