Remaking the tnev thread.
I realized today that my gf's boobs are larger than they used to be even though she's losing weight. Might be a period thing but still, feels good.

I finally got a vasectomy. I've wanted one since I was a teenager, but I was convinced by the "but you might regret it when you're older," crowd to wait. So here I am now, much older, with an ice pack on my swollen, bruised scrotum feeling a great sense of relief. I just need to make it the next couple of months without impregnating anyone and I'll never again have to worry about accidental pregnancy.

God that is hot. Good for you. Today I went to a supermarket and saw one of the most attractive girls. She has a skirt and a t-shirt. I was enthralled. I tried to build up the courage to say something to her. My heartrate was very high. I was going to say "It says gullible on the ceiling" then when she looks up or doesn't look up I would say "just joking. Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Then I decided it was a bad idea, I would instead say "Hi, my name is Dozer. You name is?" and when she told me her name I'd ask her "Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
If anyone has advice for me I'd like it.

Well that totally sounds like a great idea on paper but the problem is, you know, Gordon Ramsay can go around saying "Hi, Gordon Ramsay, your name is?" because he is Gordon Ramsay. You are not Gordon Ramsay and will need to come up with something actually interesting to say that doesn't sound like an interrogation, such as genuine compliments, witty commiserative remarks, pointing out shared niche interests or obscure references*, etc.
*Note: this means "notice when her T-shirt makes a reference to that one thing you like that not a lot of people know about" not "drop the dankest/rarest meme you can remember"

Look, I’m going to assume you’re not trolling, just in case — you can pull off the whole “hi, nice weather today, anyway, wanna go out with me?” thing but you have to do it right. It has to come from a place of supreme confidence but you also have to not actually care what the answer is. You can’t take yourself seriously and she has to be able to tell that you’re not. The effect you’re going for is that you are a free-minded maverick who has shed the arbitrary rules of society and now expresses their authenticity and sovereignty by cuttting through the bullshit and being unconventionally forward as if to keep people on their toes or find people of like mind, but without being invasive or creepy or tactless. Your tone and face should be like you’re telling a joke that you know is cheesy and you’re inviting her to laugh with you, half at the joke itself and half at how cheesy it is. The audacity of asking should itself be part of what makes it funny (that, or a “oh we both like brainfuck huh, so when are we getting married?” kind of thing). In an ideal case she should be uncertain whether she is being pranked at first. If she rejects you there are many possible reasons and most of them aren’t about you.

Cold approaching women like that, especially at super markets or other places where they're just trying to get daily tasks done, is both unlikely to be successful and creepy. The pickup artist videos you see where it works are mostly staged so they can set clicks and sell you soykaf. Let the lady get her shopping done in peace.
Go to social events, make friends there, be a good friend to them, and a girlfriend will follow.

>Cold approaching women like that, especially at super markets or other places where they're just trying to get daily tasks done, is both unlikely to be successful and creepy.
I disagree, a supermarket is a common place for people to chat each other up, and unless OP is doing something else in addition to asking them out he's not creepy at all. Most people respond positively to being talked to by strangers in public, as long as boundaries aren't pushed. E is likely to have many friendly interactions that boost social ability and confidence, and leads to more success over time.
>Go to social events, make friends there, be a good friend to them, and a girlfriend will follow.
This is terrible advice because you're basically advising them to be completely passive.

Here is a conversation I've had with internet people.
Me: "I want gorlfren"
Internet person: "Its EZ: Become fren with gorl, then make her gorlfren"
That conversation is like this.
Me: "I want to help people"
Internet person: "Its EZ: Become rich, then donate to charity"
Its not EZ. I know that most people their gf was their friend, or was a friend of a friend. I've had one friend, and that was four years ago, and that was because I asked internet people "How do I make a friend" and they said "Ask your classmates 'do you want to be my friend'" and I did that. He was friends with me out of pity, I believe. We hanged out probably five or six times over the course of three years. What I mean is: I cannot make a male friend, because I'm severely affected by autism, so why would I be able to make a female friend, when females hate males. You are very kind for giving advice, but I will continue to ask girls.
>>72938
>E is likely to have many friendly interactions that boost social ability and confidence, and leads to more success over time.
Yessir! Yesterday I asked out two girls, today I asked out four girls. The first time was so much more difficult than the last. The first time it took me two hours to work up the courage to ask, the sixth and latest time it took me 30 seconds. This was in a 'Subway': she had a boyfriend, but its ok, she was polite.

Unlucky guy. Hopefully my luck won't be so bad. The stats on vasectomy failure are a little weirdly done, since they often go by percentage of people whose partners get pregnant. The usual given stat is 1 in 2000, but one source i found said that drops to 1 in 4000 when only counting pregnancies where paternity tests confirm the father (you know what they say: "a vasectomy only works if you tell your partner, otherwise she'll keep getting pregnant") and those stats don't always account for user error (baking cream pies before a semen analysis confirms residual sperm is fully cleared from your system, which usually takes a couple months but can take a year, where anything after the 4 month mark is usually counted as a failure, even if the vas deferns hasn't regrown and the patient just needs to cum a few more times to clear everything out).
Those stats are also influenced by the old method of just snipping and tying. I got mine snipped, cauterized, clipped with titanium, and the ends tucked away from each other. So regrowth should be significantly less likely. There's still a chance that sperm that leaks out can form granulomas which can then turn into benign growths that form together with the vas deferens and form a new tunnel, but as of yet I've not felt any granulomas forming, and having the ends of the vas tucked away from each other means that even if they do form, they're unlucky to connect.
If my luck is awful and it fails, that's fine, that's life and I'll just have to experience the joys of fatherhood (or the joys of paying for an abortion)

what more is there to say ? father got vasectomied after one kid, wife got pregnant again and there came my friend, thats what I was told anyway. I dont know the timegap or the details fully, friend is my age so the whole story was explained to him and reexplained to me with some years between.
Very much doubt that this was a case of the mother having an affair either, because friend and father share the same distinct look, if you met them seperately you'd have to assume them to be close relatives. May or may not have had a paternity test but like the only other possibility is if it was her brother in law or something.

Probably never, but I have seen the rose thing work outside of bars. Mostly because there are people who frequent them who sell roses at a markup whose main business strategy is to pressure couples into buying them ("ay buddy you can afford shots but you can't spend a couple bucks to make your woman happy? Miss you oughtta break up with him already, he doesn't care about you" and similar taunts) or scam women into buying it by pretending to offer the woman the rose as a romantic gesture, then revealing they're a rose salesman with a no returns policy and refusing to leave without payment). But I've seen some guys buy them to give away as an icebreaker and sometimes it works.

I have a general plan (get a bachelor and become a DB admin with a pay that makes me not stress about costs of life) but after that i have literally nothing. I'm not the best with talking to people, i hate social media and never talk on the platforms i do visit, and those seem like the big way most people talk and get together these days, and i constantly feel like im not deserving of love, only friendship.
a lot of this is probably purely my fault as someone thats probably an introvert that spends way too much time at home, but im going to blame my surroundings too, because holy fuarrrk covid and online learning asspared any real social interactions i had during classes (and moving countries when i was young was ass too). It really depends and the meaning of "chad kicks in" is highly dependent. The phase I think you have in mind hits way earlier. that type of solipsistic detachment and brutal indifference fades away. If what you're describiong is a letting go phase, then that also depends.
So no, don't repeat memes. Although I'm the product of unnatural conditions, ie prolonged physical and psychological torture that left the body and brain in such a state I don't even want to use them anymore. That isn't the normal case. It may well be someone else could come around in a way that matters. If you're too far gone, I suspect it doesn't matter what you do or become. Some core features have crystallized, they are resistant to change and reversibility. So you'd have to go back and replicate the original ritual, the conditions that deconstructed and degraded the ego and sense of self to begin with. Which is easier said than done.

I am curious. Why would anyone get a snip if it isn't for a medical reason?
If you don't have a GF/wife, then it does not make a difference.
If you do, first the pill is a lot less invasive, second it's a lot less permanent. If you life your life with a women then the question of legacy have a chance to happen.
You are a man completely different from the man you were 10 years ago and both of them have little to do whit who you were 20 years ago. In 10 years, in 20 you will be a completely different man. And you don't know him yet.
So, why would anyone do that?
Jim Hilger · 2023-10-18 11:32
>>75112
>If you do, first the pill is a lot less invasive
My general issue with the pill is that relying on it involves trusting that all of my partners are being honest about being on the pill and are taking it correctly. This applies to the other forms of birth control for women, too. The pill, IUDs, birth control shots, whichever it is, I can't know whether or not it's actually being used or if it's being used incorrectly.
There's also the issue where many women experience too many side effects from birth control. My current gf can't take it (although even if she could, I'd still have gotten the vasectomy).
>If you life your life with a women then the question of legacy have a chance to happen.
Genetic legacy is of no importance to me.
>life with a woman
I'm non-monogamous so even though I'm building a life with my gf, I want the assurance that I'm not going to have that life disrupted by getting a side chick pregnant.
>You are a man completely different from the man you were 10 years ago and both of them have little to do whit who you were 20 years ago. In 10 years, in 20 you will be a completely different man. And you don't know him yet.
I've wanted a vasectomy for at least 15 years. Doubt I'll ever regret it. But if future me wants to impregnate someone, he can go to a fertility clinic for a sperm extraction.

First of all, you should not sleep with the entire town. This apply to women, to gays and guess what? To straight men as well.
You should only have this kind of intimacy with the people real close to you.
Now, if you really are lost to hedonism, then consider the male pill. It's like a vasectomy but temporary.
Note that vasectomy don't stop you from having kids, you can always pay a lab to inject your DNA in an egg.
>Genetic legacy is of no importance to me.
As a father, I have the duty to tell you a truth: an adopted kid will never be your kid. It will only be the kid you live with. Your brain is wired to have a special attachment to your offspring. There is a kind of love for your kids that you will never feel for anyone else. I can not express how my life has changed when I became a father.
Genetic legacy is important to every men we are simply built for this purpose alone and our body reward us for doing what we are meant to do.

>first the pill is a lot less invasive
The pill can mess with womens' hormones, sometimes lowering their sex drive, and if they skip even a day or even take it at the wrong time of day it's ineffective and can cause especially bad menstruation.
IUD's are a lot less invasive over time but they can be painful when they're put in.
The main reason men get the snip is because they're like 50 and they don't want to be raising a kid while in their old age, plus kids of older parents are more likely to have deformities. Doctors generally try very hard not to give young men vasectomies, same as how they try very hard not to give young women hysterectomies.

Psys who don't let you have the snip and then have a cum pouch sewed instead loose their jobs, so I will have to doubt that.
The sperm don't change when you get old, it's just a bad idea for a woman to plan to do her kids after 40. Ideally, all the kids should be done before she turn 35.
Now, men above 40 shouldn't get kids either because they don't have to be with 20 year old women.
I think we can agree that a reduced sex drive is less invasive than shooting blanks for the rest of your life.
