hey all
so i'm in a tough spot and am looking for a little advice
asked about this a earlier somewhere else, but it's slow there and i need to make a decision on this soon
ok, so:
> be 20, college dropout (compsci)
> doing websoykaf contracting
> can't find work lel, no money
> evicted
> a while ago met this girl on irc and really hit it off, started talking about like utena and old movies and then just like life in general
> we're talking every day now, sometimes for hours
> so yeh, sitting in the library with laptop and all my junk (not much, just like a couple bags with clothes or whatever, like i said, i'm poor)
> tell girl i got evicted and she immediately asks me to come live with her
> apparently she lives with her 16 year old brother and 21 year old sister in their dead parents' house
> really want to go, but feeling a little tentative
and basically i really want to go, but it feels a little bit weird and i'm not sure if i should or if there's another better option. because i like her a lot, but at the same time i've never met her in person, and i've never even talked to the siblings... but then it'd also be nice to have somewhere to sleep and something to eat
i don't know, what should i do?

sorry, i should add: we've video chatted, multiple times, so at least i know that she is a real person and not someone just messing around
and yes before you ask, she's a tran. and she's cute, fuarrrk off

If you decide to board with them, be aware that they might look into squatter's rights, get nervous about it, and boot you for awhile. This is dependent on where you are though. Where I am you can't just evict someone if they've been there for a certain amount of time with the owner's knowledge. And I wasn't going to ask because it hadn't even occurred to me but-
>trans
I would consider this situation first and foremost a housing option. Make sure your relationship with the other people is excellent. I have a trans sibling and they're essentially a slave to their medication and a shrink's experiment rolled into one. I'm sure the person you're referencing is a great person but please do remember gender dysphoria is a medical condition and any hormones they're on can and will cause changes to their mood/behavior as well. Due to the potential relationship complication I'd say make sure you have a safety net for housing besides this. Good luck anon.

Tell her to ask her family first. I've been in a similar situation before, where my girl crashed at my place (I live with my parents and siblings atm) for a couple of months. After she left I got into a huge argument with my dad and told him to suck it because he doesn't like her. If something like that happened while she was still at my place it would've probably ended pretty badly. I'd say go for it but try not to stick around for too long, try to find a stable job asap. Good luck.

Good luck OP. My only advice is that from now on you should try to keep as much of your independence as you can, and try not to make anyone dependent on you. Your relationship will be healthier this way, and it will be easier to go your on way if things ever get unhappy.

good to hear.
Regardless I would have said to push through and make it happen too. It's better to fail an opportunity than to not take it at all.

It's natural to feel scarred. Just make sure the others are alright with it and that you don't piss them off. I've been on the other end of a very similar situation and I was fuarrrking pissed when I was living with some wanker I never agreed could live in my house and essentailly take over the place.
