ok hear me out. I've been daydreaming about being kidnapped all day. and this has been a big problem for me. I really need someone to kidnap me. not as romantic or as pure pleasure. I need someone who can do whatever he wants with me. How do I get attention so someone can kidnap me? Do you have any ideas? My mental health is fine, it's just my own wish for a long time, I hope you understand. and i couldn't decide ask to question on hum or psy thread. pls dont judge me

>I really need someone to kidnap me.
You've come to the right place.
*ahem*
There are legitimate services for this, I believe.
I heard about them some years ago, and admittedly haven't had occasion to look deeply into them,
but if you live in a well-off country, there is probably a company that simulates this, and it's likely safer than actually being kidnapped.

>youve come to the right place
>proceeds to provide exceedingly vauge, useless information about how maybe possibily a solution might exist

Imagine all the attention. Totally at someone's mercy. A doll. Like when mom washed your mouth out with soap, or spanked you. The entire world revolving around upi. yopu are part of the plan in the most clear way, it is clear something is about you. Finally, they see you. If I can't be good enough I am bored and will be engulfed completely, then relief AND clarity, because the source of the confinement is known. It all comes into view. Final;ly you can see it and you are seen and you know.

This is a commentary by the way. I don't actually approve of or deeply get where you're coming from. There are probably better ways.

is not uncommon.
It's been talked about here before, although the words were about finding "good masters", not... kidnappers.
I mean, your view of kidnappings must be fantastical to truly want it to happen to yourself, but the underlying desire is still there, and that's what I'm interested in. OP was explicit about it not being "romantic or as pure pleasure", so obviously there's something more to desiring loss of agency than mere fetishization (as much as that does exist).
So I'm curious to hear your perspective on why one might want to daydream about this, Lain. In the meantime, I will postulate and ramble.
I could think of two pieces of media that linger on the desire to lose agency with some depth:
Needy Streamer Overload and a fan-animated series about Pokemon.
...Maybe I should read more.
Anyways. The first is a videogame about managing a very mentally unstable streamer who has promised complete fidelity to your demands, and the second currently sits at an hour-long and is much-beloved for using the concepts of Pokemon (masters and trainers) to explore, among other things, the desire for loss of agency.
Both are very good. Here's a link to the Pokemon thing:
https://yewtu.be/watch?v=4x_lObzaD2w
So evidently, the desire is prevalent enough to appear in mass media. And if you are familiar with either of these things, you would know the desire isn't merely attention-seeking, as some other posters seem to think. They both deal with heavy topics, and the desire to lose your agency stems more from relieving yourself from the psychological burden of your own will.
That's my running theory, anyways.
Not trusting yourself to make decisions, coupled with believing you deserve the worst, and suddenly giving your will to someone else to exploit seems attractive.
It solves both of your problems: you can no longer fail by making bad decisions and at least you're useful to somebody.
But maybe it's something else.
Dental work constantly shows up in reference to this kind of stuff for some reason. It's the picture in OP's post.
I had this happen to me at one point. Not being kidnapped, but a dentist had nearly blocked my airway with a gum-like material and proceeded to calmly and gently hold my face, as I was too concentrated on breathing normally to protest.
Still don't know how I feel about that. Strangely comforting.
Something about being vulnerable or totally at someone's whim?
You tell me.

>Strangely comforting.
Something strangely intimate too, I guess.
That's the word. Intimate.
It's potent imagery?
They're holding your will in their hands, literally closing your mouth to protest, in an act that is totally and completely invasive.
Okay.
Now you tell me.

Kidnapping aside, I have elaborate torture fantasies (nonsexual) and I've been thinking about this actually.
OP wants a release from the pain of individualism and a kidnapper is just like a transcendent God. Someone who'll command you and soothe you. He'll dictate what to do and pour attention on you, and this loss of agency and submission to him will free OP from the constant pressure to live as a free individual.
Western society is individualist and all about free will, there is this punishing pressure to live independently, to be a free and autonomous agent where you determine your own life. But it denies the difficulties and suffering that comes with individualism, such as endless choices leaving you unable to actually choose, the pressure to perform, the dislike of quiet introverts, and pressure to be original, not to mention being on your own when you fuarrrk up.
Eastern societies, have always recognized the pain that comes with agency. Buddhism and Islam point to the self as a source of pain and suffering and their whole traditions are built on relieving us from the pain that comes with the illusion of the self and of individual agency. Funnily enough, Eastern traditions often use rituals that involve pain and confinement (ascetic starvation, intermittent fasting, whipping yourself etc.) as a way of releasing us from this existential suffering to experience an transcendent realm that is relaxing and soothing.
So OP is just like Buddhist monks who starve or burn themselves or Muslim mystics who pierce themselves with knives or lock themselves in a cave for 40 days.

this is a pure distortion of the natural desire to be cared for by a person who is fully dominant. get in touch with yourself OP.

How do live in this world not knowing that fake kidnappings are used as a device by special forces and covert agencies?
They've literally been a meme for decades now.

I saw this thread the other day and ignored it thinking it was weird. Now that I'm reading these breakdowns of OP's request I feel like I relate to OP in a weird way. It must be so nice, to put the trust of my life into someone else. Having the knowledge that whoever I'm under I don't have have to make the hard choices, maybe not even simple decisions. I'm just tired sometimes. Though I have to wonder what I'd really want from an arrangement like that. If I'm forfeiting my personal agency then who my captor is would be really important.
