I lost interest to tech and coding. It all feels same for me. All distros, all codes. For example if I install some fancy nerd gentoo, I will browse web, you know open GIMP, maybe code. All same stuff. Linux mint, gentoo, arch all feels same. I lost interest to linux. I lost interest to coding as well. all interesting projects are on github anyways. AI, stable diffision, chatgpt all seems boring to me. I checked openai site, it asks for phone number then I close the tab. I don't think it's worth giving my number. And because I lost interest I didn't care enough to rent phone number to confirm it etc. etc.
I look /g/, all same idiot topics. I mean I don't blame them, it just bores me. In general I'm bored.
feel same?

It kind of sounds like you were interested in the novelty and surface level glamour of tech, and got disillusioned with it. That's a good thing imo. Come back to those tools when you have something you want that they would be useful for.

Are you depressed or just burnt out on tech? I have lost interest in almost everything (including playing games). I don't know how to fix this problem but I started to sometimes write items on a to-do list and I find it kinda helps because when I sometimes feel like actually doing something and it's easier to start doing something when you can just look at your to-do list and pick/find something that interest you. Bonus points if you keep 2 to-do lists: 1 for stuff that you can do whenever and 2nd for stuff that must be done (write down your deadlines, too). I recommend keeping the list(s) somewhere you can see them (like your desk).

Try getting interested in something else. It's bad to get stuck with only one interest since sooner or later you get stuck in it like you have. When you get interested in something else you'll not only have stuff to fall back on, but you most likely also will broaden your perspective which might even change the way you look at stuff you previously were interested in.

perhaps forcing yourself through a couple of these tutorials might spark something: https://github.com/codecrafters-io/build-your-own-x (the text editor in C one in particular is fun !)

Yeah, it's been a year for me. Used to code literally every day, now its nothing.
Everything that is "useful" seems terribly boring, Everything that is cool is terribly useless and no one will care.
I would be okay with giving up on tech but I'm literally about to graduate in CS. I've looked for jobs around me and everything seems either boring or harmful to society.
I don't know what I'll do, guess I'll just have to suck it up.
