First of all, I'm not a neet that don't talks daily with randoms. I have a job and I live with my gf a perfectly normal life.
But, when I try to have a conversation with something that doesn't browses ib, a privacy autist or a programmer, I feel like they don't understand anything. We are from different worlds even when I try to talk about normal everyday stuff like everyone else.
As an example, I'm watching some twitch streamers during the day and made a hitler joke on one of them. It was clearly a joke and the streamer and mods did understand it was a joke, but they still derezzed me from their channel because they don't tolerate anything related to nazism. It was the same feeling as when you are telling a random story or a joke and all of the sudden nobody says anything for a few seconds and someone changes the subject.
Are we condoned to have a solitary life and being the weird guy from the the 4th floor? Did anyone of you got past this phase?

I get what you mean, I also have to talk to a lot of "normal people" and it gets exhausting after a while. Most people don't think about what they actually do on the internet. It's really annoying to see people constantly misuse their computer. But it makes sense, I guess most computer people are introverted anyways. I never have a desire to go talk to people except maybe every 5 months or so. Most people I don't care about. I probably am selfish or something

>I made an Ill received joke in the chatroom for a twitch stream and got derezzed
>I'm such an outcast
This post is absurd

The internet is like that. You get sucked down a wired rabbit hole into your own compartment, determined by your internet usage. Your news sources, your sources of opinions on those news, your groups of people with which you talk about the stuff... in the end you can live next door to someone who is imbued in a totally different culture than yours: a different sense of humor, different jargon, different worldview, different information, etc. The core difference is that your smartphones show you different stuff. But that branches out and determines all of your life.
Have you looked for people on the meetup thread?

This. You got derezzed from one thing. Even the normalest of normal people would get derezzed from somewhere sometime, and be accepted somewhere else.

He said "as an example".

It was only to show that in a more normal internet community, I also got derezzed and got the same feelings as in irl.

No but this is not the issue. I don't want to have new friends, I'm ok only having a relationship with my gf because we have the same views about most things and we share the same jokes or type of humor.
The issue is with randoms you have to interact with irl, I prefer to not say anything nowadays and only be the weird guy that doesn't talk, than say something and be the weird guy that says weird things and makes everyone uncomfortable.
