The Human Genome Project held great promise for advances in medicine, but also had greater societal implications. Many scientists hoped that mapping our genome would provide definitive evidence that there is no such thing biologically as race. Other researchers argued that race is a biological concept and real differences exist between races. For example, Race, Evolution, and Behavior: A Life History Perspective by J. Phillipe Rushton (1995) claimed the existence of at least three basic races with the following controversial average differences:

Yeah. It turned out racialists were right and genetics determine/influence a lot, up to and including behavior. For some reason, a lot of people do not want to accept this. I think it is okay, it just means that we are different, as previously thought. Are people worried it could be used to justify genocide or something? That likely says more about them than it says about anything else.

The modern religion is all inequality stems from oppression. Even just implicitly suggesting alternative causes is attacking their core believe.
Hence you get hunted by the inquisition for the same reason as they destroyed pagans beforehand.

Not the same guy but...
As a corollary, the failure or "races" other than the wh*tes to meet the standards of wh*tes is due to their own metrizarion of their performance based on their own (the wh*tes') values.
In other words, the dominant culture is not apt to meet the natural requirements of the vast majority of people (native to 4 out of 5 continents), not the other way around.

Perhaps Genetics is itself oppressive.

It literally couldn't have been otherwise.
>Are people worried it could be used to justify genocide or something?
It's more like they've lost the foundations which allow them to declare that genocide is bad. If you cut God (or at least something wholly inhuman and unworldly) out of the equation you can't appeal to anything other than brute reality. If the reality is that the races are truly different in measurable ways you can produce a rubric and put them on a scale from "best" to "worst". In order to declare all of humanity equally worthy you need some dimension people exist in where scientific scrutiny is impossible. Those dimensions are quickly diminishing through our study of psychology, genetics and neuroscience along with the abandonment of religion and the spiritual dimension.

ranking in a void is stupid. black is superior in africa and a white is superior in norway. Its just natural adaption to the habitat same as animals. In other words the ranking is circumstantial which means there is no perfect template that is always best.
IQ is also not simply higher better. For stupid repetitive jobs lower iq is actually better because they dont get bored and lose focus. Dumbfucks do a better job at dumb jobs.

bad genes = dead is core tenant of evolution. Doesn't get more oppressive. The problem is as said genes aren't good/bad, they are good/bad for a certain enviroment. Fat fuarrrks would be meta during famine, best skin color as mentioned depends on climate. Nose form is also a adaption to climate. So a lot of people suffer not because their genes arent viable but because they are put in a enviroment they genes arent meant for. This is especially tragic with people because we have a lot more control about our enviroment than animals. tldr: its mismanagement.

If you are still stuck in an ethical framework that requires external forces to declare good and bad for you (in other words, if you have the ethical awareness of a child) then yes.
