For personal reasons and reasons related to me being a mutant, I absolutely need to move away for a year. I just graduated from high school and want to live on my own (no roommates) in an apartment working at an unskilled job for 1 year before I head off to college, this time next year. I'd like some place in the US that is reasonably pretty and safe while still being VERY affordable. Seems laughable, but my parents are pretty well off, and I can fall back on them some. I have no problem with frugality, I don't go out very often, I can eat beans and veggies, rice, potatoes, and stuff, buy all my clothes on deep deep discount, not gonna be saving, and I don't even like lighting my spaces, so I could do without that too. My parents would still pay for my phone bill, car insurance, and stuff, but I'd have to cover rent, food, and the very few miscellaneous purchases I plan to make. If I can't cover rent and food and stuff entirely in this place you suggest or If I'm just delusional about the costs anywhere or my ability to save, then they could fill in the gaps. Also, some prettiness or pretty nature stuff nearby is another draw.

>>61384 holy fuarrrk richboi... i pray this is bait, you sound like you have no idea what you are doing, have you ever even done a budget? This entire post reads like the human trash you establish yourself as. the only unskilled jobs that might pay well enough for your standard of living would be in a mine or oil field, enjoy the cancer and other health issues faggit

If you have that kind of family support, ditch the car, get a tent and just travel for a year by some other means.
