What was the point that pushed you over the edge, Lain? It sometimes feels as if I am close to breaking through to a sublime state of maniacle obsession, whereby I am hyper-focused on science, and then I let myself get pulled back down in to the milieu of the mundane; enjoying an easy life. I am thinking that a fourty day fast, the likes of which Pythagoras underwent, would be the neccessary delineator required to get to a state of no return. I have found that someone caught in a penduluum as such you have described, swingin between extremes, hinges on subconscious idea-asms of grandeur and false expectations abou life, usually driven by what you think others expect from you. I have found one key to true success is to expect less from yourself and less from life in general. Instead seek pleasure and satisifaction with life itself, as it is now. Set concrete goals regarding your passion for science that doesnt hinge on mere passive consumption of articles and other media. As an adult you should gear yourself toward activity and align your studies according to what you wish to actually accomplish. That way you can have a series of activites of various intensities that fit together in a coherent whole.this in itself will generate some nice endorphine boosts. This is me again, Belgiumposter. So apparently (during the time?), they considered abuse under drugs (which is circumvention of the judicial system), and resulting conviction to circumvention of the judicial system (such as elaborate mutilation), as part of workings of justice. This organization was fraudulent in any case, it was done for framing others organized in school (others who I know knew of the child sex abuse, it was locally normalized at the time). (I'm still referring to what happened to me when I was a child.)

You could do this safely forever since you still can eat daily which also makes brushing necessary. Usual "fasting for x days" means actually not eating anything at all for a whole time which requires also preparation both at start and end to avoid harming yourself. I believe week was about the sweet spot you can do safely without preparation anything beyond 2 weeks you need to be careful. Especially if you break fast you cant go crazy, you have to start slowly again. In ww2 freed people even killed themselves by eating a lot of the supplied food after starving in prison because they didnt know about this issue.
