Boss is making me date her daughter

I thought I would post this here as I dont really know where else it should go. Let me start of by saying Im a 28 yo virgin, about 5 years ago I got a job out of college with a cs major. Thanks to my dad who worked at an oil company his whole life it was easy for me to get in too. Everything was going great and I love this job but I had an encounter with the ciso recently, she told me she was making all her children wait until marriage, and they were getting restless, I told her I was still a virgin too and it can be hard sometimes. She I said "you will go on a date with my oldest daughter", not can you, or would you, but "YOU WILL GO ON A DATE WITH HER", she told me its Friday and got me the day off, shes paying for the date and got a reservation about a week ago. Im scared If I fuarrrk this up it could jeopardize my job, I know nothing about women and her daughter will see me as a geeky loser like all the other girls. wtf can I do?

Assuming mom inst oblivious to daughter only saying "sure mom im still celibate" she will be just as weird because that means no partying and other social soykaf. Refuse completely. Insist that you are only interested in marriage, not such a petty thing as dating. Remark that you are open to having the wedding at the appointed time and place.

You could just humour it for one date because maybe youd actually like her anyway but if you really don't want to just turn it down. If you get fired this would be breaking the law. You also can talk to this girl to see if her mom has been abusing her.

What are the chances that your bosses daughter wants to be married off to some creep, just try to have a nice time and nobody will be in a position to complain. You get free fancy dinner and all you are expected to do in return is to be a gentlemen for an evening, sounds like a good deal for a meal to me. What are the chances that she isnt banging someone behind her parents backs(or much worse), slim to none. Shes probably not into you and hates the idea more than you do, so just make her not feel like piece of meat and enjoy the food. Prepare yourself good and its all gonna be fine, just dont think anything off it and make the best out of what you got, next day you probably gonna be asked how it went, just dont put in any interest other than surface level politeness, the whole thing gets dropped after that and after your free meal its gonna be same old same.

Hope your date went well and wasn't too awkward. What's the cultural opinion on this stuff where you live? I think now most places consider it inappropriate for your boss to tell you to do this, especially since she at best showed favoritism by giving you the day off specifically for it (and at worst, abused her power to coerce you into a date with her daughter).

I met my boss there too, and she acted very different than she does at work, she was genuinely nice to me for the first time. I got to ride a boat with her dad at the lake, and it was really cool, the boat had like a beadroom inside the bottom of it with a working tv. I went in the boat bedroom with the girl, it was dark outside, and her parents were on top of the boat drinking.
