The End?

SHODAN · 2021-12-23 18:46
Things been going worse and worse globally since 2020. 2022 about to come, things aren't getting any better. Let's not forget the "price rise" everywhere, the financial situation is fuarrrked, not as much as economy is tho. Is world coming to an end? All the things with China, Russia & Ukraine, other places in Europe. World's going crazy, remember the same situation in the WW1? Things were tense as fuarrrk and all they needed was one little spark, some Serbian patriot shot and killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand and that was that little spark. But it was back in 1914, look at the military tech now, the quality and the quantity of the military soykaf that we have now can destroy the whole earth and more. Your thoughts on all the things happening right now lainons?

I dont care what happens honestly. As long as I still get my monthly disability payment from my 1st world Western country's government, have internet access, and can jerk off, I don't care what happens in the world.
Dr. X · 2021-12-24 09:19
It's almost like covid has been a global exercise in control to get everyone primed for what's to come. Or maybe it simply accelerated the process of degeneration and exposed the many flaws of our way of living. Let's see what happens. Reality often outperforms fiction, when it all comes crashing down it will probably topple every expectation people could have. That was already the case for covid, which has imposed a medical security state more extensive and perverse than the deepest darkest imaginations. Hopefully we will not lose our humanity.
Donna Hawthorne · 2021-12-24 10:21
real big brain discussion as usual in /hum/ No, the world isn't going to come to a quick and merciful end. I wish it would, it would be far better than the next 100 years or so that is mostly going to involve countries becoming increasingly unstable due to migrant crises and collapses in the global supply chain from third world countries where the bulk of the world's population and industrial production is becoming uninhabitable due to climate change. This will cause cascading failures and lead to a general decrease in quality of life for people who are "lucky" enough to live through this. Massive increases in prices of goods or just outright rationing, increasingly authoritarian governments in the first world, even less upward mobility than there already is, more precarity. Things are only going to get worse and covid was a trial run for how to control people and how much people are willing to put up with being bled dry. There are only going to be more plague crises like covid as well as wild animals and livestock are in closer proximity to more dense human populations than ever before and themselves kept in even more cramped living conditions. Covid is only the beginning of the superspreader viruses. Given all of this it'd be a welcome end to things if there was just a collapse or nuclear war that ended it all quickly, but the world isn't the same as it was during the Cold War. There aren't two clear sides with missiles aimed at each other, the world is completely globalized and interdependent and the only thing the world's leaders can hope for is to continue sitting at the same poker table with the same people for as long as possible, gaining as much as possible without taking huge risks and threatening to break the whole fragile system. These same people are who are going to let us all slowly suffocate or bleed dry hoarding as much wealth as they can and doing everything possible to make sure absolutely nothing new ever happens.
Nell · 2021-12-24 12:16
Despite how things look, there are still many cards in the decks, lots of very suprising and strange things can and will happen. Dont believe the people in power will come trough with how they want things to go, it will go catastrophically wrong for the system and every single one of its subsystems, things have become too unpredictable for the controllers. As the godess told us close the world open the next, the old ways will be gone and all those that hold on them with it it and a new world will be born out of the old one. The new world will be real sooner than you might expect, it is your choice whetever you anticipate if with fear or joy.

>is the world going to end? global nuclear war is still unlikely I think, because most people just cannot pull the trigger, and because of MAD. Basically until some kind of fanatical religious death cult gets their hands on a large number of nukes, the chance of nuclear annihilation is pretty low. Aside from that possibility, there won't be a "final scene". The anthropocene extinction is just getting started and it will take hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of years before the biosphere recovers on its own, and by then it will be mostly unrecognizable to us. Will humans stop being a bunch of self-destructive jerkoffs and do something sensible about it? Maybe, but it seems unlikely to me. What seems likely to me is that our civilizations will fall and our numbers will dwindle, and people will adapt to the vast wasteland that we leave behind, and maybe they will be able to build a new civilization that can survive such a harsh and unforgiving world, and maybe that civilization would appreciate if we put some effort into keeping our science and our art alive instead of jerking off all day.

Hello, I'm just here to remind anyone in this thread who may be feeling despair that the world apocalypses doesn't mean ending, it means revealing. In my opinion, it means people will wake up to the neo-feudalist hellscape we're in and we'll rise up like Les Misérables. Regardless of what 2022 holds, it won't be the end, it'll just be change and change is something we'll need and we'll be better off for.

>>54661 >We had gas and biological weapons in WWII. They were not used. Sarin gas was used in WWII, chlorine and mustard gas were used in WW1, and biological weapons (in the form of plague-infested bodies) have been used for centuries. >Beside, Hiroshima and Nagasaki are good places to live. Japan as a country was completely leveled at the end of WW2, and it was only because of massive American investment that they were able to rebuild their infrastructure. >Absolute worse scenario, the population of 3 or 4 countries is divided by 2. The issue isn't the initial blast. Those would mostly hit major cities and military targets. The issue is that fallout would contaminate food supplies, possibly making the land completely barren, and the worse case scenario where most of the world's nukes are deployed at once it would cause some pretty massive weather anomalies. >It's only going to be a problem in places that are hit by desertification which is a large chunk of the world >and where the population have been multiplied by 100 in a few centuries. which is most of the world and let's not forget that massive flooding events, heat waves, and cold snaps are going to be more common everywhere, and will contribute to destabilization of even highly developed nations. Texas is lucky they managed to avoid a complete grid failure last year, and the southwestern US is already highly precarious when it comes to water supply. Those are both highly developed, rich regions. Additionally, climate change isn't the only contributor to the anthropocene mass extinction. Overfishing, habitat destruction, trash buildup, oil spills, and other forms of pollution are just as bad if not worse than manmade climate change, in terms of extinction. And the more things go extinct, the more precarious the situation is for other species, including humans. Eventually only the hardiest, weediest species will be able to survive.

>>54617 >Your thoughts on all the things happening right now lainons? The purpose of this event is a globally orchestrated play where the seasonal flu was weaponized in order to usher in a NWO-esque technocratic corpocratic police state. The widespread incapability of the governments and politicians you see happening now, is written with the purpose that people will rebel against them, which the puppet media will manipulate to get out the message that nations should forfeit their national sovereignty and submit to the "New World Order" (since at least they're capable). Another primary objective, is to mutilate predominantly white homogeneous societies through vaccination. With the expected dying off of mostly elderly whites, their pensions will be plundered and the vacant houses will be used to house Africans and Middle-easteners. Meanwhile, Christianity is being outphased because the NWO favors Islam as their One World Religion. Another spearpoint is that children are to be raised by the State. Digital Education is a certain goal, so that people become compartmentalized individuals, unable to interact outside of the machine, and thus being enslaved to it. That's their plan anyway from what I can tell. They'll ofcourse fail miserably.

Take all that and stir it up with a big stick with cyberattacks and propaganda and you get a perfect storm of people just destroying their communities to the point where America becomes unlivable. China steals any and all American R&D, and Russia seems to be pretty good at pretending to be every self-victimizing group to get attention. Meanwhile, Americans are more loyal to the brand of coffee that they drink or the cell phone that they use to get addicted to their social media of choice than to their own fellow people. Psychologists have found that simply reading that someone is "democrat" or "republican" is synonymous with being attacked by a wild animal. A fight or flight response is triggered by people having a difference of opinion... Hard for people to rally around a common cause (like making sure communities are safe, and that peoples livelihoods are preserved). The endless McCustomization and individuality of every product within pre-defined limits gives people all the choice of how they want to obey their corporate masters who would slaughter them by the thousands if it would cause their profit margins to go up. At this point, companies can tell the government what to do because their own internal research suggests that the governments best course of action is to buy their products.

>>55347 >will it's happening right now, lain. Rome didn't fall in a day and neither will the US. There will never be a point where you can say "the US existed until here." It will take generations and it has only recently begun, the 20th century golden age has only been fading for a decade or two, there's still plenty of inertia from the scientific advancements made during that time period for our technology to improve dramatically. This fading might not even lead to real collapse, it might just be an ebb. There can be large shifts, like revolutions and wars and natural disasters, but those don't always define the rise and fall of civilizations. Germany was first ripped apart by fascist revolution then bombed to smithereens and it's still there, still pretty much the same Germany that was created by Otto von Bismarck. There's no reason to think that something as simple as a minor squabble over succession will be the end of the US any more than WW2 was the end of Germany. >>55372 >Psychologists have found that simply reading that someone is "democrat" or "republican" is synonymous with being attacked by a wild animal. If you want to flee, best to make preparations and explicit plans for a distant country sufficiently disconnected from the Empire that its likely to stay relatively first world after the US's fall. Also, man, you're overestimating the dangers of all of these environmental difficulties. Now, is there perhaps any chance that people will come to realize that the current global economic system isn't actually making things better for virtually anyone at all, and that they will overthrow the oligopoly through systematic changes in consuming patterns? Will the age of energetical limits, peak oil, etc, accelerate this process and eventually we will get "back" to some semblance of a sane economy? I know we are all fed the idea that everybody out there are apes trained by their phone into absolute indolence towards anything not mediated by uh, whatever rewards snapchat uses to hypnotize them, but I also want to think that humans might all share some degree of consciousness that we often like to believe only we among the masses (along with a relatively few others) possess, and in that case, maybe the well-trained apes we believe them to be might actually turn out to be actual thinking beings capable of taking responsibility, or at least not acting entirely in detriment of their very own integrity? I think, however, it is more likely that as the global ecological (in the broadest sense of the word) state is past the tipping point and now working towards a new balance, one where humans will simply be put back in their proper place in the grand scheme of all life on Earth, overthrowing all our expectations for the future. Though I will, as everybody else, be affected by The Shift, I sincerely hope it will be one that renders agriculture non-viable. Humans are such miserable creatures that believe themselves the great masters of this planet entitled to it's unconstrained exploitation, not realizing that the fact we are the dominant species at present is simply due to the exact conditions that have been presented to us. Hopefully the anthropocenic ends here and now and we go back to the only state in which humans can reasonably be expected not to be a pathologically ravaging plague whose only effect is one of misery and destruction.

People who take a dim view of Human Nature tend to ignore how incredibly malleable Human Nature really is. Our understanding of ourselves as a continuous entity that exists consistently through time and space is basically incorrect, something our brain massages out of sensory experience to enable better high-level decision-making. In reality when placed in new or unexpected situations our motivations and actions can take on new unexpected characters. Obviously the illuminati know this and use it to their benefit, but their methods are cruder than they seem, and their control is tenuous at best (precisely because they seek it). To enact a shift we merely need to get rid of the idea that we will be in control, and instead embrace the idea that we will create change. This can be as simple as provocative graffiti or strange pamphlets. Make someone's day a little more surreal.

There is usually one bug for every thousand lines of code. How many lines of code does our society require to stay the way it is, metaphorically speaking? The tendency for humans to do things for personal gain, and find exploits in systems, pretty much sealed the deal that we were going to fuarrrk ourselves to extinction as soon as we entered a technological society. Each step of technological progress should have been treated like discovering a new type of WMD, but again I believe that's so far outside of human nature to operate on such extreme caution that it's like asking a river to stop flowing. The same could be said for the birth of agriculture and the birth of cities, leading to territorial rights and large centres of power, which all leads to the exploitation of nature. Perhaps at this point humanity is merely in a race against fate and nature in its battle for survival, and it'll be up to the ugliest our species has to offer to lead us to the other side. That is already decided. We're married to our hopelessly complex and flawed systems, systems that constantly and ever swifter births tools of our own destruction. Systems of which if we ever separate from, we collectively as a species will sprint back towards. The Leviathan will eat us all mercilessly for its own survival. From even the greatest of horrors irony is seldom absent.

They are going to make absolutely sure stuff does happen on their OWN accord, they want controlled chaos that WE / The pepople cannot control and feel is random, but that they themselves just barely manage to control. Global warming is a good point, because it is entirely fake, which is why THEY control 100% what temperature will be and what forest fire come and where (using satellite / laser tech or simply agents starting fires). They control every single narrative and NGO so they can make soykaf fuarrrked up whenever it suits them, but stop things at will. This is what is the most scary for me, that even when things seem completely collapsing and out of control, you should know that this is fake, sort of like Hollywood crysis actors running in circles or NPCs in video games reacting to a CGI explosion. The hysteria of the masses should not be mistaken with "nature" or "chaos" rising above human control, even some things like Oil running out are still under human control, they simply ban us from using cars / use global warming as pretext from confiscating earths remaining resources. True collapse exists, but true collapse means the ancient judeo-european royal bloodlines lose complete and total ownership of all their stakes, and are then killed off permanently. For this to happen there needs to be a major and serious breakthrough, on a scale much larger than most of the fake, overhyped events we see today on the news.

You need to release them on mass scale, huge loads of them at once, for them to have an adequate effect. If you use them on small scale, then you only piss off the enemy more. They are also quite difficult to make (safely) and use (without risking them spreading your way due to changing wind direction). That's why countries stopped using them. If chemical weapons were just as effective as horrible, they would keep using them to this day, but since small scale usage of them is only horrible, but not effective, it was decided that it's basically not worth it. Nuclear weapons won because they are just as effective as terrifying and they have a wide variety of uses (destruction of manpower, infrastructure, long therm poisoning radiation effects and significant psychological effect). Biological weapons could be even more destructive than nuclear weapons in theory, but the problem with biological weapons is the question how to use them safely for your own side, how to prevent the boomerang effect of them coming back to bite you, to backfire on you. After all, how would you ever prevent your own population getting in contact with the infected enemy population? I think nobody has the answer for that. But the potential is definitely there. After all, we have seen how infectious diseases can be damaging to the economy just recently.

>>58619 >The reason why chemical weapons are not widely used anymore They're used all the time. I know literally no solider who spend more than 5 years in the warzone and wasn't exposed to combat gases. Also if you plan genocide of enemy population nuclear weapons are the fastest and most effective way. Biological weapons are as you mentioned hard to control, unless you poison drinking water sources; in the case of the use of cholera and the lack of access to antibiotics for the enemy population you can achieve effects comparable to nukes (as recently)

>>56570 >>56571 Shared traumatic experiences actually brings people together. Obvously, as long as peoples existence s not dependant upon the unexistance of others, things may go bad, but people will band together. One of the fundamental traits of large scale socal trauma is that it builds resiliant people of the survivors, and that resiliancy and will to excell pushes them into the next generation. Tl:dr Bad times > Strong men > Good Times > Weak men I often wonder what the point of it all is. I see plenty of people my age getting married and filling their lives with social comforts, but meanwhile I just went to school as a stem user and then joined my nations army, so I became extremely intelligent, self sufficient, and I have exceptonal survival and combat leadership and weapons skills. While I hope I never have to use the things I learned, I know that I would probably turn into a warlord or something if society ever collapsed just because people would look to me to help them. On the other hand, since it is very likely that the collapse of society is not going to happen, or at least a total collapse into civil war and motorcycle marauders (like mad max for example), I'm probably just going to be an autistic sperg who /k/ posts for the rest of my life since I can't really stand normal person soykaf anyway. My new job gves me nothing but time and money, and I really don't know what to do with my life since I own a house and really just work to support my hobbies. The most I deal with normal people is doing Karate and HAM radio outside of going to buy food. Why does this life have to be so meaningless... I can see why all those people go to fight against ISIS or Russia as volunteers, because at least in the moment it feels like they can be the good guys.
