Controlling anger
Technician · 2021-12-19 01:10
How do you deal with anger lain? I've noticed lately that I get angry all the time over the smallest things, but it's especially targeted at people. I feel like most people don't give me what I deserve and talk to me in a very rude manner, whenever this happens I point it out to them but then they always put the blame on me for making such a big deal out of it.
When I get angry about it I only make it worse, when I voice my worries in a calm way I usually end up getting ignored and when I don't do anything about it it keeps bothering me all day.
Is there a cure for this disease?

no expectations = no betrayal of expectations.
just dont fantasize too much how people should behave.

The past 2 years people have turned into assholes, before I was mostly ignored but now people take their bad mood out on me. The only solution I've found is just reducing exposure. When I can't avoid them though I go all the way and act unstable, you lose social status but atleast you're less likely to be targeted again. Like >>54532 said lower your expectations, it's a predatory society don't expect anything from people. Practice meditation to not be triggered by people's bait, and take your anger out on something like solo boxing/chopping wood.

When anger rears up in me I have a trick I do where I picture it as a freshly uncoiled snake dropping down from the jungle canopy and heading for my neck. If I look at it directly it’ll disappear, but I have to do it while the snake’s still dropping or it will strike. This sounds like something they’d teach you in therapy at the hospital or something, but it’s not. It’s just a trick I found somewhere by myself.

>no expectations = no betrayal of expectations.
That's a bit too misanthropic. You're going to have soykafty relationships if you treat everyone with zero expectations. I'd say it's more like learn to adjust your expectations to reality better.

Take chamomile capsules or tablets. It helps. Also, try to listen to violent music or watch violent videos. Violent games also help.

Finding an outlet is healthy, especially if your hatred (and feelings in general) are quite primitive/undifferentiated, and tend to be consciously suppressed or unconsciously repressed.
Getting a punching bag seriously helps. You don't even need to imagine punching anyone in particular - this can be abstract, like punching through a feeling, or some representation of a concept, or a psychological complex that pains you.
And when you get pissed off, just the idea that you have something at home to beat the soykaf out of helps, and then to also imagine punching it.
As punching bags are cumbersome and often expensive, hanging something like a sleeping bag carrier on a wall can work perfectly.

And yeah, blasting violent music >>54686 (unsurprisingly) helps along.
The sheer explosive physicality of it really adds a different dimension, as opposed to something like video games - especially if you don't do sports or anything physical to get "out of your head".

anger <- frustration <- desire
you desired, but couldn't get it
so to stop being angry, control what you desire so that it doesn't frustrate you when you're not getting it, that is the one thing you actually can control
to get there though, do unlearning exercises (bio-energetic, physical) and talk to 'angry' demonic spirits, bind them with king solomon's magick and make them work for you instead of against you

Realize different people have different values and ideas of what is a reward or what constitutes rude. By some standards you will be considered beyond their standards but others you will fall short. One man's trash is another's treasure so you may be given things you take for granted that the people giving hold in high regard. People seeming to be rude may be just acting like they always do and it's nothing personal about you. So you don't actually always know for sure if you're being treated as less than they see you or any different than they treat anyone else. It also helps understanding everyone has their own lives and you don't know everything going on. A person acting rude might be under a lot of stress and in a rush for example. Also while depressing just remember a lot of people how their environment and neurology directly effects their capacity to act a certain way and you often wont know for sure what they are capable of so there is only so much you can reasonably expect from anyone.

Anger can be controlled in two ways, you can hold it in or let it loose.
Sooner or later it has to get out, so no matter how you twist or turn it your only option is to make a choice on who/what you unload it on.
A boxing bag is a good idea, it also really helps if you have some good way to unwind.
