>>52771 > > Blatantly injurious erotic anorectal violence—anoreceptive activity involving a combination of rapid thrusting, considerable girth, and a prolonged duration—is rampant worldwide, facilitated by widespread (willful) ignorance, apathy, and misinformation. It is impossible for resultant anorectal injuries and serious/chronic/permanent health consequences to be uncommon due to anorectal fragility relating to anatomy and neuromuscular physiology [References: Anorectal Risks 1-3]. >>52772 No, the covered matters have not been addressed with serious and effective action. > gotta soft and use tons of lube It's not that simple. Here's a slightly-modified old post of mine: (Quoting myself) > At best, anal sex and significant anal-insertive activities accelerate or guarantee the development of anorectal health problems. That could in theory be untrue if such activities are done with ridiculously excessive care* all the time, every time. * That includes, but is not limited to: ruling out preexisting anorectal conditions (possibly caused by prior sexual trauma), always using lubricant, avoiding lubricants that irritate/damage the rectal lining, avoiding enemas (all enemas, hyperosmolar or otherwise, probably remove the rectum's protective mucus barrier), always using a condom (particularly in the absence of an enema), never thrusting too rapidly ("too rapid" could vary for different people, at least for the anal tissues), never inserting anything too girthy ("too girthy" also could vary), never using numbing agents (pain indicates that something is wrong — anally [below the dentate line], but not rectally [above the dentate line]), etc. In practice using ridiculously excessive care is unrealistic — it'd be more of a chore than a pleasure. Furthermore, both ignorance and misinformation are rampant, porn sets a very bad example that some viewers get ideas from, and people with (self-)destructive tendencies are having a field day.

>>52774 1. You are introducing a red herring: This is not about one specific person (you) nor one specific person's activities. 2. You clearly have not read through and understood even what I wrote in the OP image, much less what all of those medical sources wrote in the referenced compilation. >>52773 > ridiculously excessive care > ruling out preexisting anorectal conditions (possibly caused by prior sexual trauma) That means having a receptive person's anorectum checked out _every time prior_ for preexisting conditions by a medical professional. Ridiculously excessive. > avoiding lubricants that irritate/damage the rectal lining Avoiding those is rather difficult when such lubricants may be very common while the hazard they pose at least to the anorectal region is likely not well-known nor even covered by any accompanying documentation/warnings. > avoiding enemas That greatly increases the likelihood of fecal odor. Of course, some people might enjoy that... > always using a condom (particularly in the absence of an enema) That's due to the risk of a male urinary tract infection from colorectal denizens. > never thrusting too rapidly Good luck figuring out what constitutes "too rapid" when there are tissues involved that can easily be damaged without pain. > never inserting anything too girthy A receptive person undergoing e.g. endoanal ultrasound (again, every time prior due to preexisting conditions possibly caused by previous [erotic] trauma, or even defecatory trauma) and asking the doc about maximum girth based on the structural integrity of the anal sphincters (perhaps among other muscles in the region)? Yeah, right. The fact is that the human anorectal region simply is very unsuited for many all-too-common receptive activities. Too many people are just "playing with fire." Plenty are bound to get burned.

>>52775 what part of "more lube" do you not understand? if theres enough lube ill just add lube until theres enough lube, then itll be fine.

>>52776 "More lube" isn't some sort of panacea. It seems to me that you're trying to justify doing something foolish out of (probably willful) ignorance in the best case. Worst case, you're malicious and deceitful. 1. Again, some lubricants can irritate or damage the rectal lining. Such lubricants may be very common. 2. How will you determine whether more lubricant is needed when very fragile tissue in the region can be damaged without pain? Bleeding may not always be an immediate indicator (e.g. deeper damage can occur below the surface region). 3. Physiological factors of the anal region mean that, when it's healthy, it always will be a tight fit for all but the narrowest penis. Even when the anorectal region isn't healthy it might be a tight(er) fit, e.g. due to anatomic anal stenosis (narrowing from constricting scar tissue). 4. The girth of inserted objects or body parts is a major consideration since permanent muscular damage can occur potentially without pain (the internal anal sphincter muscle at least lacks somatic innervation). In the best-case scenario concerning anal intercourse with a penis that isn't too girthy for any particular receptive individual, if there's so much lubricant and no friction then what even is the point? Friction on the penis generates pleasurable sensations. Friction is precisely what needs to avoided if someone's concerned about anorectal damage. The healthy vagina of an aroused young woman is so much more durable for these purposes. Even the mouth is (perhaps even the esophagus, although deep-throating and someone potentially choking on a penis isn't a pleasant thought). >>52777 Spit is not a good lubricant at all.

>>52778 > some lubricants can irritate or damage the rectal lining. Such lubricants may be very common. "Many sexual lubricants are hyperosmolar. Hyperosmolar enemas induce epithelial damage, and enema use has been associated with an increased risk of HIV infection. To inform the development of rectal microbicide formulation, we evaluated the effects of hyperosmolar gels on the rectal mucosa." "Phillips et al. demonstrated that rectal application of N-9 [spermicide] resulted in sloughing of surface epithelia. Hyperosmolar fluids have been shown to induce similar changes in the distal colon. Because many water-based personal lubricants are hyperosmolar, such formulations, applied rectally, may induce similar damage." "Hyperosmolar sexual lubricant causes epithelial damage in the distal colon: potential implication for HIV transmission." The Journal of Infectious Diseases. 2007 Mar 1; 195(5): 703-10. doi:10.1086/511279. (PMID 17262713) > The girth of inserted objects or body parts is a major consideration since permanent muscular damage can occur potentially without pain (the internal anal sphincter muscle at least lacks somatic innervation). "How might anal sex cause fecal incontinence? The authors [of a study published in The American Journal of Gastroenterology titled 'Anal Intercourse and Fecal Incontinence: Evidence from the 2009–2010 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey'] point out that the internal anal sphincter muscle is responsible for maintaining the resting pressure of the anus (i.e., keeping the anus closed, and keeping stool inside where it belongs), and previous studies show that men who receive anal intercourse have lower anal resting pressure. They postulate that anal sex may simply dilate and stretch the anal sphincter muscle and eventually cause damage to the muscles themselves, and/or cause sensory nerve damage leading to loss of sphincter sensation and control. ... "For reference, the diameter of an adult colonoscope, which is designed to be inserted into the anus, is 0.5 inches (Olympus CF-HQ190L, 12.8 mm OD). This is roughly one-third the diameter of the average erect penis [citing a British Journal of Urology study; DOI: 10.1111/bju.13010]." "So, after this careful analysis, here are my concluding thoughts on anal sex as a healthcare professional specializing in colon and rectal diseases: • Anal sex seems to significantly raise your risk of having fecal incontinence. • You probably just shouldn’t do it. • If you are going to do it anyway, don’t do it too frequently. • It seems like common sense, but use lots of lube. • When finding a partner for anal sex, smaller is probably better." https://web.archive.org/web/20210304223307/https://www.kevinmd.com/blog/2016/03/what-you-dont-know-about-anal-sex-a-gastroenterologist-explains.html
