Hey guys, bit of a loser post here, some of prelude context I am 21 years old and stud in one of the best technical universities in the world- I was always bright and successful in School and also in the High School. Now, I got bullied for being the class nerd/ the guy who answers all the questions. I came to my high school as an outsider when everyone was knowing each other. I would try to do my best to answer each question my teachers asked, I came to a big city to study, from a soykafhole. I would even wait a few seconds if anyone would answer the questions- no one usually answered so I got to answer a considerable amount. Consequently a classmate started to pick on me during lectures where she would nominate me the second the question was asked by a teacher and sarcastically say "LaInOn WaNtS tO AnsWeeR!!". I got fed up told her to stop and she would not, so I continued answering until she got bored. The water was still for about 2 years only occasional hellos exchanged, me trying to be a decent person. Afterwards we were unfortunately assigned to the same bus and same study group. I started seeing her each evening and night going to and back from after-school. She would treat me not nice but not soykaf either and once accepted that I was smarter and was more capable than her. At that moment I felt nothing, not even happiness or forgivance or any sort of "I-am-better-than-you". I thanked her for hir comment and soykaf went as normal till I stopped seeing her aka end of High School. Now a friend of ours says she admitted to bully me and doing it willingly. I cannot cope with that my fellow Lainons. It hurts as hell and I am very very angry. I don't know how to get over it. Anyone has similar stories? Any advice on how to get over and forget?

Why do you care about the jealousy of others? Retards bully nerds to compensate for intellectual inferiority. Revel in the acknowledgement of their inferiority instead of being bitter at their attempts to get back at you for making them feel dumb. That said i will never get why people dont fight back. If some bitch talks soykaf soykaftalk them back. Youre supposed to be smarter so use it to verbally destroy them.

>>48504 >Why do you care No idea honestly Lainon, me and her will never ever meet in a gajillion years, I am supposed to forget her. Emotions are something I rarely take into account and it sometimes hits. I am also partially angry at myself for allowing that to happen and not obliterating her dumbass... Oh well...

>>48505 It probably sticks in your mind cause its filed as a unsolved problem. I used to read a lot of psych and there's a specific process to it that reliably makes people permanently remember you strongly which core was a unsolved conflict. That said thinking of a solution and filing it under "this is how i do it next time" should lessen the effect.

>>48502 I'm slightly older than you but went through something similar. It's my opinion that being 'smart' in high school (or school in general prior to uni) can single you out from others when the vast majority cares about looks, sports or being a 'funny idiot.' They'll pick on anyone they can single out. In my case, I believe that this anger started to go away when I started doing better in life thanks to my technical abilities. This may happen to you too. You can be a loser in the context of high school where winners are selected based on the above characteristics, but real life is different. My advise would be to think a lot and find out exactly what bothers you. Are you sure that it's just their words? Could it be something about yourself? If you're thinking of retaliation, that's definitely not the answer. You're not a loser until the game is over anon and at 21 the game is just starting out.

>>48506 That might be it Lainon, weird theorem. I guess the brain works in weird ways. About a solution, I can't think of one yet. >>48507 Thanks for your story Lainon, I think maybe deep down there is some problem with me like maybe I wanted to be liked by everyone? Which is an utopical goal and one of very worthless one at that. In any case I think maybe grinding some gears for a short while might solve the problem, get it out of my head.

>>48502 Anon, go ask if she wants to fuarrrk if she does, tell her she has to be nicer to you if not, tell her to stop wasting your time

I read your post and I literally didn't see why you went from "who cares some random idiot in the past" into "I need help to process these feelings". Like, what is your problem? Bullies bully willingly, that's what they do. If you ever thought they do it for any other reason, that's quite silly. Answering questions all the time in class sounds kinda autistic and pretty lame, don't do that. Answers can go unanswered so the teachers stops being an idiot and stops asking them; some are meant to be rhetorical anyway. Other than that you're nothing special, but you outrank her because you have at least one marketable _stat_ that will easily earn you top dollar while she struggles to find a guy to leech or w/e.

>>48502 you know, if you really workout your physique (sports) and speech skills (language written and expressed orally) is better than caring about others who want to provoke you. Be your best self and you will see how fulfilling that is . Also stick to being smart, and find people who think on a higher level as you. Paradoxically that girl might be like that because she sees you as her non achieved self on the other hand you shouldn't look for gratification and satisfaction from teachers or students. Just do what you genuinely like.

>>48502 Writing and reliving the paining situation until it's resolved- Verbal self-defence, and some comprehension of feminine aggression and bullying in general...differing from physical self-defence and aggression. Maybe try NLP for traumatic situations, but consciously reliving and reciting + "emotional competence" understanding such a thing was more of a personal assistance.. how about social skills, something like charisma on command. Sometimes it's better to not answer so many questions in class. Verbal self-defence, (art of verbal war, various pdfs on verbal self-defense online, 'verbal judo'/jui jitsu) when's the last time someone stabbed you, beat you, robbed you, or you were required to use physical self-defence? How many times have you been stabbed and beaten verbally, and was a correct response a physical headlock? Or was it retorting verbally and resolving peacefully. "anger is the poison you drink expecting the other to die" and that jazz.

>>48502 You might find Notes from the Underground interesting. Uh it's about a man who is a mouse. Since you have an excess of conscientiousness, you'll endlessly torment yourself on the what-ifs of every nuanced interaction and thus be frozen with the thought loops while John Smith reacts with simple emotion, although in our sedentary age there is not much reaction.

there is a term for this phenomenon I'm not remembering, the evolutionary psychology explanation is that when one member of a group "shows off" too much our vestigial monke brain tells us to take them down a notch as they're pushing down our standing in the social hierarchy. it's also why we get so mad when someone on the internet thinks they're smarter than they really are. point being don't sweat it, chimps gonna chimp and chances are she's too dumb to understand her own motive for acting that way so you shouldn't agonize over it.

>>50203 what a nice person . I like you . I hope we make mutual friends .
