how many of you are effectively cut off from society? I've been a NEET for a long while now. I have roommates so that I can afford rent but we barely talk. I have zero friends online or offline.
I live in filth and I constantly feel like bugs are crawling on me because of a fruit fly infestation so they land on me a lot. No clean clothes so I'm always naked. I don't feel like a person anymore. I want my body to just disappear and maybe my mind can exist virtually. I think it would be a lot better than having a physical form that requires maintenance and to do things

Have you tried doing the laundry?

You think this would bring you happiness because you think in your virtual world you would not have to do any work.
However, happiness requires work. Becoming a virtual being would not help you. The only thing you can do is try to bring happiness to yourself now. The state you are in is like kicking dead whales down the beach, but you can get out of it. Work to clean yourself and your surroundings. If need be, buy a one way ticket to Nepal and live as a farmer there.
Change your life, you can do it lain.

If there's something you're obsessed with, try finding people that share this interested
It's likely you just rightfully despise normal people, but get along with people that share your passion
I'm a huge autist and wasted years not talking to anyone, but everytime I forced myself to talk to someone sharing the same interests at an obscure event it paid of greatly

sounds like you are living the dream . You should farm the fruit fly larvae in order to have free range healthy food.

The net is trash and I'm a net in my 30s so that's me, cut off.
I have been rejected ssi thrice over and live with parents I have no love for.

what the fuarrrk how can you put up with that soykaf?
if you want to go that way at least learn from our ancestor philosophers and mystics. go live as an ascetic in a cave but with a laptop. meditate and learn to free yourself from material needs and soykafpost.

Being "cut off" from society is a flaky definition, rather you should ask how much "integrated" one is, as there are always varying degrees.
That being said the only people i interact with are my parents and "friends" occasionally, only in person btw.
Other than being broke, depressed, bored, desperate and fuarrrked up in general, i dont have much in common with them.
Doesnt sound like you have much to lose, in your case id do what >>46728 says.
Sure you could shot or bit by snake or whatever, but
at the end of the day its better than sitting your infested hole and waiting for slow death.
Also dont count on "virtual" things being less tedious than physical ones, cyberspace is a whole other realm, its not as straightforward as people have been led to believe.

Go hardcore. Wash clothes in sink with soap bar.

Yes.
I am 32. I have no friends. I worked in health before I quit my job because it was killing me. I've given myself to 33 to get my soykaf together before ending my life. I've achieved nothing. I've lost everything ever dear to me. Life has just been one tragedy after another, and so I lie here on my bed alone in the dark writing these words on an imageboard. Probably my 33rd birthday will be my last, but I want to at least try to change my life one more time, organise my soykaf, learn a new skill to try to get into a new career, well, at least gain some foundation to do so. If it doesn't work out, I had an interesting life, but 33 is a nice number to end it all. I'm the only one who can change my life and I've known that for a long time but poverty is one hell of a drug and it is extremely difficult to get out of. Right now I have enough brouzoufs to survive until then but I'm going to try to not wallow in pessimism. Dattebayo and so on.

I recently "got back into society" after being away due to a big breakup and graduation, yet I'm more based and redpilled and schizophrenic about tech than ever. I rant about it a lot to normal people in digestible portions, and the ones around me seem to follow. I've put effort into maintaining my appearance as well.
>I want my body to just disappear and maybe my mind can exist virtually.
Take care of both. The body has its own mind, and you have to get in the habit of treating it. Body feeling good = mind feeling good. It cannot be one or the other.

I was like that for years. But slowly I've reintegrated into society.

All fun and games until buddy goes apeshit cause he cant deal with the newf knowledge on surveillance and thinks you can hack and spy on him anytime. Then he gets paranoid and accuses you of hacking him whenever his browser bugs out...
