Hackers have successfully subverted and attacked a significant amount of US digital infrastructure using a supply chain attack through SolarWinds. The Department of Energy (incl. nuclear security), Treasury, Homeland Security, Defense, and Agriculture have all been confirmed with more expected. Microsoft has also been compromised.

It's been the case that consent is constantly being manufactured. What do you think Trump was doing with China? It wasn't "making america great" or whatever stupid buzz phrase he wanted to use, it was straight up manufacturing consent.

Yes, but the rhetoric about this being digital 9/11 or digital pearl harbor is a pretty clear sign that they want to start conflict right off the bat once Biden is sworn in. This is being blamed on Russia so it's probably going to be a proxy war with a Russian sympathetic state. The China proxy war will be in Ethiopia if I had to guess.
