If this doesn't belong here I am sorry, but what can I sue for in America? I am fuarrrking getting fed up. I have many groups and organizations that I have issues with, some probably just frustrated with, but I have medical records to indicate how many examples of malpractice from the ER and my former Dr. that spent less than 5 minutes with me, rotated my leg and called it a groin strain. 5 years later my hip still hurts like hell when I work or do recreation. Now I doubt I can sue yet for this one, but I just got home to a toll charge from EZ pass. It has my plate info, but the picture was a completely different car and this was in Boston in the tunnel under the Harbor. I disputed it, but I am fed up with this, not what I want to do right after work. Their LPR failed and I am sure the vendors were my old employers since they were so proud of being the only licensed vendors or LPR in Mass. Like I said I doubt I can sue yet, but if they decline my dispute then can I? I have evidence that I wasn't in Boston, as much as I hate google tracking me they are my alibi. Hell I am sure I am just over reacting because I am hot and angry and they probably will accept my dispute, but if not then should I go straight to a lawyer. Be pretty sad of the EZ Pass to get sued over 2.60 in false fines. I am just sick of the soykaf and want to know what is a sue-able offense so that I know when to start recording with my phone. In walmart one time their credit system was down and customers had to use the ATM. My mother wanted her $3 atm fee reimbursed which walmart did, but the cashier bitch yelled down to her friend saying "Watch out this lady is coming for $3.00". Like obviously in that case it wouldn't be a lawsuit yet, but if the company failed to investigate the complaint and properly discipline the employee and say that employee then does that again or harrases my mother saying "hey it's the $3.00 lady that also a reporting snowflake" Just a random example, but say something like that happened again then by not properly doing anything about the situation walmart is saying that those are their values, they are totally fine with raunchy loud mouth insulting employees that harass customers and no company will openly admit that. Sort of like how my father was harassed at work for months by some woman before he finally laid it on her. She obviously thought she could get money, but the company moved my dad, docked his pay and made him attend a sensitivity training. She didn't get a penny, but if they failed to properly address the issue then her and her lawyer could certainly have sued the company. Also if my dad had only reported her on the multiple occasions where she harassed him then maybe he would have had a case and the company would have been able to tell her and her lawyer to fuarrrk off because she clearly instigated it to get a rise out of my dad and likely was seeking free money. If my dad had reported her then maybe she would have been the one being relocated. Anyway long story short I am sick of being soykaf on and ready to hold assholes accountable.

You can bring up a suit with this groups on the grounds of medical malpractice against the hospital
Additionally, you can use a private lawyer to bring up a suit against the state DOT, but it will cost you a pretty penny

I'm not a American so I don't know how the legal system works in your country but suing a company because the sent you a false ticket for 2.60 seems excessive? As there was no harm made in this case I doubt that you could sue them in this case anyway. Just straighten things out with them (call them or sent a email). What if you just won't pay that bill? Would they have to sue you to get that 2.60 or is is possible for them to get a court order and get that money from your bank for instance? If they have to sue you then there is a big probability that they will just drop this, as 2.60 isn't a amount to hire a lawyer.
>My mother wanted her $3 atm fee reimbursed which walmart did
In my country no one would think of returning that money if there would be some problem with paying using a card. They would just ask you to pay in cash or go somewhere else if you don't have cash on you. On the other hand ATM are in most cases free in my country (at least cash withdrawal). Again, no real harm done to anyone in this case so there is nothing you can sue them for (I think). Best case scenario you get the clerk fired and recive a apology (I don't think that would happen) so the question here is what do you want the outcome to be?
A word of warrning. Watch out not to become someone like that women that harassed your father because she thought she would get money out of it. Fight for your rights but have dignity and try to understand that mistakes happen. You don't want to end up like the guy that tries to sue everyone around them to make a living.

Yeah I know I was a little heated and chances are that they will drop the charge because there is evidence that it wasn't me. And I know that scenario is excessive. And same with the $3 atm thing, but in that case it wasn't the atm fee, but the woman's attitude that bugs me. Though I only know of this story from my mom. And you are correct where and I don't want to be like that woman that harassed my father, but I am sick of having my rights squandered. I bet I seem a bit foolish complaining about these things when I know many other people have it worse. And I wouldn't be asking abut performing lawsuits if we didn't have various rights guaranteed to us.
One example is my work situation. My boss is from Egypt and I know that work for him was borderline slavery. He has achieved a lot to leave that and come here and to work for almost 15 years before buying his business. I can respect that, but I can't stand how many of my rights he is taking from me. Thats probably the reason I haven't sued him because boy has he fuarrrked up. IRS and department of labor soykaf. Anyway I am very angry working under him, but am trying to just pay off my debts and quit. Even though I know someone some day is gonna come along and sue him and take the money that I otherwise should be entitled to. I know that some of my issues may seem small from the outside and I admit I was angry when I posted this and am angry in general. I simply am sick of having my rights and dignity swept up from under me.
