Hello, anyone here who wants to program something with me (working on a project together)? It can be small or big doesn't matter, I also have a lot of experience already working in multiple languages. Example projects: Cross-platform password manager, an emulator for a simple system, bytecode VM, a roguelike or a tagging system for files. If you're interested on working with me on something send an email to Neetposter@tuta.io, it would be nice if you would include some kind of description on what kind of project you want to do. I've made this thread here, because I think it isn't allowed on /λ/ and because a big part for me is working with an other person on something together, so i.e. human relationships are a big part of it. I don't know if it would be better on /Ω/. Or maybe someone is interested in discussing programming or math with me in this case write me also an email.

This is the reason Github exists. If you have a project then go and start it and people will join you afterwards. If you don't have a project then go and join an existing one.

I don't really agree. OP's intention seems to be to meet somebody with whom they might form a meaningful relationship that exceeds the mere technical side of things, which is something that I have not found on github yet. I think most people don't interact with each other on github apart from having mostly technical discussions that are limited in scale.
Just my two cents.

I'm working on multiple projects already, I just wanted to start something with an other anon. The primary reason is friendship and comfy programming, see https://lainchan.org/hum/res/2762.html someone suggested it and I think it would be a good idea.

Yep, that's totally correct (good that someone understands me). I keep the things on Github strictly professional. The primary reason is to form a meaningful friendship, which working on a project together would be a good start of (because then we would like both programming and have something to discuss.)

Most programmers prefer working by themselves, unfortunately. It might help if you develop a relationship with a person before you suggest pair-programming (say, via IRC or another platform with persistent names).

Thanks, yeah 3 people contacted me (One of them has a nice idea, which I might be able to help with). I'll try to do something with them together.

Until one of you puts a brace on the wrong line and you never speak to each other again.
