22 years old I work in a small logistic company in IT technical support My dad died I haven't seen my mother in ages neither my brothers and sisters and i think is better that way I live with my grandma but soon I'll be homeless too I am just trying to save as much money as I can so I can move somewhere else quick once that happens my career in software engineering is in grave danger right now due to my depression and still that one thing that makes me not pull the trigger is the job that I have I have always an extreme joy working for mature people in computers because it always reminds when I used to help my dad when he could not do his works in the computer because of the most simple things most of the times. And that dopamine rush in my brain everytime someone is happy because I helped them or when they give me their thanks for my help is something that feels a lot more better than any drug I have used I may be losing a lot of stuff but I will not lose this great job that I have now Remember Lain help others and never wait for anything in return because that thank you or your awesome etc will eventually come and it will feel a lot more better than expected everything sorts out at the end enjoy the help you give others and surely things will go better for you

>>4744 My heart goes out to you Lain, it's never easy to not be certain of your housing situation. If the issue is her kicking you out, know that most jurisdictions require written notice in advance for eviction. Hold on to your job, if you really value it as much as that. Jobs that are truly fulfilling are few and far between.

So true, I work in customer service at a non-profit, and as soykaf as customer service can be, the appreciation and thanks that you get from the people you help is awesome. Being appreciated feels great, and it has taught me to try and do the same when I'm interacting with others.
