How do you guys deal with emotionally immature people?
I ask because my sister is what I'd call emotionally immature.
She cries at the sight of any confrontation, she is very violent. She is selfish and unempathic.
Do you lainons have anyone like this in your life?
How do you relate to these people?
Seat · 2017-08-06 07:55
I guess I'd try to make them realise how soykaf they're acting. Though, I guess you've obviously tried that. Ask them why they act that way? In a way that will make them sort of self-aware of what they're doing every time they act that way. Maybe she'll grow out of it, depending on how old she is...

>neurosuggesting immature people ever grow out of it
>neurosuggesting they don't get even more immature as they age
There's no way to deal with these people other than just finding a way to block them out of your life. The problem with stupid people is that they're generally too arrogant to admit that they're stupid. This problem is actually far worse in adults than in teenagers or children. Their egos prevent them from realizing it when someone younger is actually just as competent as they are or more. This is the primary reason I can't believe the American mainstream when it tells me that teenagers are too immature to give sexual consent.
Lain Iwakura · 2017-08-07 19:42
Yes, I know this all too well.
My stance is that they are adults, and as such they are to be held accountable by their words and actions. We have a saying here: "things fall by their own weight".
I usually just ignore them, don't play into their game, try to keep my cool, and avoid them. They wrong me, I don't need to get mad anymore, I know they won't give a soykaf, they'll just act like they are right all the time. So I act accordingly and let their own actions take their consequences to them. I am not their educator, they are adults already.

>She cries at the sight of confrontation
>She is very violent
Which is it. I don't really have a problem with people who are immature in the sense that they act out a lot and are a bit selfish, I kind of admire it and am jealous. But people who are really emotionally immature are an issue.

She cries to play victim, usually after harming someone. This isn't contradictory, i find it to be complementary.

No they aren't because she's not genuinely crying at confrontation then just acting the part to get what she wants.
She wouldnt do it if it didnt work so stop being a sucker.

Dude, she's my sister. I'm the only person in my family who confronts her. My parents raised her to be a princess and now they don't understand why it is that she cares only about herself.

She'll learn. She will like some boy or some soykaf and he won't want to deal with her soykaf and she will change her act. Or she won't and continue thinking life is so unfair to her and never realize its a consequence of her poor behaviour.
All you can do is hope at this point. It's going to decide hee entiee future, I don't know how old she is. If she's 18 or older she will prove herself soon or not at all. Hey she came from your genetic stock right? She's probably smart enough to figure it out eventually.

I soykaf you not if that was my sister I'd beat the living fuarrrk out of her until she stops being violent and stops crying.
With other people, if they're violent with you, defend yourself and report them to the police, and generally cut them out of your life.
If you're forced to deal with them, you have my condolences.
Use a belt on your sister.

You guys are idiots, not OP but he clearly stated his parents coddle her. I was going to say the same thing you were saying till I remembered that. He beats her, she cries to parents, do you know how much soykaf that would get OP in? And it wouldnt even accomplish anything because the parents would just go "oh its okay your brother has issues" and then her brother would just seem like the bad guy.

I'm with this guy. These people we're talking about are waiting for you to lose your patience because then they win. They dragged you down into their childish perspective, and you're just reinforcing their belief that acting out like that is a fine way to cruise through life.
I know this all too well.

Even with repricussions its worth it, trust me
I have the same sister OP, even worse
She stole money and things from my room
Would fund her trips all over the world whilst askig others for money and favors
She has no friends, only useful idiots she amuses herself with or useful links to gethigher up in life
I hit her senslesly couple of times
Parents would scold me or even slap me
I would hit my sister even harder the next time
It didnt set her mind straight, but at least she doesnt fuarrrk with me anymore
And I steal her money now too
And if she angers me I take something that is dear to her heart and destroy it or sell it

Karma fam
She stole something like 2 grand over the years from me
I just steal from her when she pisses me off and crosses me otherwise I usually just ask my friends for money if I need it, they give me and I give them, moneyisnt the issue here you idiot
Its about how you treat other people and how you are treated. And if you are a dumb cunt of spoiled princess that thinks the only thing she needs to be concerned of is her happiness every second of her life then obviously you will treat others horribly for your happiness.
Example,
I ask my sister if she is going anywhere because I would like to bring my gf in house and watch a movie. She immediately says "huh? You thinking of fuarrrking her?". At that moment I wanted to immediately slap her but I tried talkig to her nicely. She said she would be going out then she changed her mind and said that she is going to annoy us if we decide to watch a movie in living room. Mind you, she already said to her bf that they are going out. Then when I calmly politely asked nicely she demanded 50$ as a fee for being outside
I go out on a walk with my gf and when I come back I see her with her bf watching a chick flick melodrama movie. Him being bored out of his mind and her engrossed in a movie (she usually makes it so that she gets what she wants).
My revenge was me "stealing" her bf from the situation to talk about programming and deep web and stealing her money.
She is a bitch that always wants confrontations and things to go her way.
These kind of people only can be "reasoned" by Pavlovian methods.
Beating the soykaf out of them when they cross you and treating them nicely when they treat you nicely.

I am a dumb cunt myself that thinks that she is morally superior to others.
You can't just go around hurting people that are your close family, even if they abused you emotionally and physically to the point you can't trust them.
Seriously, you have some issues man.
Emmanuel · 2017-08-12 02:33

How did she steal 2k from you?
That's like all the money Ive ever owned combined during my first 18 years.
Are you adults with incomes living with parents or something?
You could literally just tell on her to pressure parents into making trouble for her if she doesn't fuarrrking behave.
It's more honest than having to resort to her tactics and becoming a cunt like her.

No, just had pretty rich grandparents and I would invest my money (ie put in bank or stock)
And on few occassions I purposefully left money out on my desk (in my own room), took a picture and showed my parents
They know she is a stealing manipulating bitch and have given up on trying to parent her whilst they treat me harsher for having some decency and not acting like animal
There is no way trying to get around her
There is only "fight fire with fire" approach with people as disgusting as her
Trying to ignore her is no good, she is a mosquito and she will drain you either monetarily or emotionally
The best way to make her avoid you is to treat her 10 times worse than she treats you
I didnt become her tho, just to her (and every analog person like her) I am worse

by being the adult in the room
unfortunately you also have to figure out how to use their emotions against them
