Drugs To Take At Work

Neuromancer · 2021-12-14 11:11
Hey lain, So I assume most of us are remote workers. This makes it easier to take drugs while working. What are some good ones to take? My experiences: >alcohol a glass of vodka/wine is good for mood + productivity for an hour, but then the inevitable crash comes and I get sleepy and unproductive towards the end of the day. Plus makes me more easily distracted. Don't quite recommend >weed Might be good if your job doesn't require critical thinking and you can control your appetite. If you actually have to think at your job, then this is a no go >LSD (microdose) similar to weed in the sense that critical thinking is difficult. Excellent for productivity if you don't get distracted >caffeine the king for a reason. boring, though >l-theanine natural adderall to take with caffeine. would recommend/10 >bacopa allegedly enhances your memory. I do feel like my memory is improving but I'm not sure if it's a placebo or a byproduct from living a healthier lifestyle.

>weed/alcohol good to numb the pain of being a cog in the machine. If you can get away with it, absolutely show up to work high/drunk >LSD, l-theanine why would you waste those wonderful drugs on your day job? >caffeine >boring Yeah and work is pretty boring too, it's a match made in heaven.

>>9748 >>LSD, l-theanine >why would you waste those wonderful drugs on your day job? L-theanine offsets the negative effects of caffeine and other stimulants. Combining it with a high dose of caffeine gets the nice caffeine focus and energy without the jitters or tweakiness.

>>9750 I am aware, I drink green tea frequently. I asked why you would waste that focus and energy on your job. Do you have one of those unicorn jobs where you're actually doing something important and meaningful? If you're just doing it for money there's usually no reason to be focused or energetic as long as you get the work done.

>>9751 The extra focus makes the day go by a lot quicker, makes work seem less boring, and gives me more free time. I don't really consider it a waste since there's nothing I do in my free time that I need artificial focus for, so it's not a stack I take outside of work.

>>9746 >alcohol I drink every shift, I'm only part-time and don't give a fuarrrk about this job because Im a student. When I take my smoke breaks I go out to me car and swig on a mickey of bourbon or vodka

I micro-dosed methamphetamine on the job for some time. I was taking around 30mg orally almost every day. I had all the self-confidence in the world, enough energy to do anything and everything, i actually enjoyed life for the first time, waking up was easy, music sounded great, days went by so much faster, i would go home and be godlike at video games and had all the energy and motivation to work on projects or do things i would normally not do. I also stopped drinking because of it, and meth is so cheap it actually saved me hundreds of dollars i would've spent on booze or weed. I had to take stupidly small amounts multiple times a day to avoid peaking sky-high and crashing back down to earth. Crashing down was painful, but it was proportional to how high i peaked, so if i keep the peak low the descent wasn't even uncomfortable. I had few undesirable side effects, i still got hungry, could sleep at night, didn't grind my teeth, i did lose some weight though. Of course its not a long-term solution, after 4-5 months it started doing more harm than good, i noticed the tolerance rising, i became increasingly paranoid, and couldn't function well without it. I stopped before losing control and wouldn't recommend it.

i take about 3.5-4.5g of kratom twice daily and have for the past 2-3 years. it's been great as an antidepressant and energy/mood boost. switch around strains occasionally, every couple of months. when i worked retail, it also helped with the body aches. other than that i have a monster rehab or two per day. smoked weed often before retail shifts but don't really do so now i wfh

>>9746 missing modafinil >>9896 30mg seems like a super high starting dose, pharma meth is 5mg theres probably a conversion chart but it sounds like starting off at 60 or 120mg of adderall instead of 5 or 10.

OP here, around a year and a half later I have some more thoughts. Caffeine in the form of yerba mate is the best. No huge crash like caffeine but noticeable boost in mood and focus. I'll stick drink coffee on occasion but mate is better in almost every way. L theanine is cool but honestly everytime I take it I have trouble falling asleep later. I prefer it more for off days. Phenibut is pretty good but it's too ripe for abuse to take regularly. And I prefer to use it for my days off, anyway. Stopped microdosing LSD for work because it made me way too aware that I was wasting beautiful days indoors and I was getting depressed. I wasn't a fan of modafinil, I just got headaches and got distracted easily. I actually like weed if it's later in the work day and I just need to finish something up. I stopped drinking altogether, that soykaf it is poison.
