Sex and drugs

Hey lain. I've been wageslaving recently and more and more I come home, fap, fall asleep wake up just in time to drag my carcass into work then repeat. I think I've always had a problem with masturbation, probably didn't help that I lost my virginity when I was 6. I'm also pretty sure my testosterone is way higher than average, I was super athletic as a kid and I've always had an aggressive personality. I've also read that hypersexuality can be a symptom of c-ptsd, for which I display most of the symptoms and fit the criteria. Plus I'm diagnosed ADD, which has proven correlation with poor impulse control. I'm pretty sure if I told a psychiatrist about some of the things in my life and the way I feel a lot of the time I could probably get a prescription for SSRI's, which would likely reduce my sex drive. I think I'm still on my estranged parent's medical insurance so it wouldn't be too expensive. Should I do it? Is there a better drug to take for this? Are you going to recommend me the easy peasy method for the 1000th f*cking time? All input appreciated. Relevant info: Aspergers Male 19 ADD Thanks for your time.

>i've been wageslaving recently and more and more I come home, fap, fall asleep wake up just in time to drag my carcass into work then repeat. That's just wageslave life sadly. Welcome to adulthood. Try to get a job that doesn't leave you with only the will to eat fap and sleep after. It's pretty normal to fap a lot at your age. Why do you think the amount that you do it is unhealthy? Are you really masturbating too much, or have you just been consuming too much nofap propaganda?

I get the feeling you're circumcised too. >Early circumcision was also associated with stronger sexual drive and less restricted socio-sexuality along with higher perceived stress and sensation seeking. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2405844020324099 >With a total of 4986 ASD cases, our study showed that regardless of cultural background circumcised boys were more likely than intact boys to develop ASD before age 10 years (HR = 1.46; 95% CI: 1.11–1.93). >Risk was particularly high for infantile autism before age five years (HR = 2.06; 95% CI: 1.36–3.13). https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4530408/ >Early-circumcised men reported lower attachment security and lower emotional stability while no differences in empathy or trust were found. >Early circumcision was also associated with stronger sexual drive and less restricted socio-sexuality along with higher perceived stress and sensation seeking. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2405844020324099 I myself am leart of SSRIs. They either are no better than a placebo or dull all your emotions and make you reliant on them as your brain gets accustomed to it. I would say try N-acetylcystine (NAC) >Although preliminary, the findings provide initial support for the use of N-acetylcysteine in combination with psychotherapy among individuals with co-occurring PTSD and SUD (substance abuse disorders) https://www.psychiatrist.com/jcp/trauma/ptsd/nac-for-ptsd-and-sud/ >We concluded that N-acetylcysteine is safe and tolerable, reduces hyperactivity and irritability and enhances social awareness in children with autism spectrum disorder. >However, further evidence should be sought before a general recommendation. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32900213/ >While research into substance abuse has traditionally focused on dopamine and associated reward-based behaviour, glutamate dysregulation has been suggested as another avenue related to the development and maintenance of addiction. >Preclinical results have shown N-acetylcysteine to be able to restore the imbalance of cysteine-glutamate exchange in the brain and decrease drug-seeking behaviours in animal models. >Indeed, treatment of addiction and substance abuse disorders with N-acetylcysteine has been an active area of research. https://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/2018/2469486/ >>9609 They probably have been propogandized. So much misinformation have been spread from the nofap crowd.

>>9609 I think the amount of time I spend on it is unhealthy, and I don't buy in to nofap just like I don't buy into apple, both are for-profit corporations, and both have the same goal: to separate me from my money. >>9611 I am circumcised. >leart don't know that word. and no, I haven't been "propogandized". Like I said, nofap is an LLC, I trust nothing they have to say by default.

>>9614 Typo. Should say leery not leart. Anyway NAC is cheap (like $10 usd a month supply) and it's OTC in oral form even though doctors use it intravenously to treat paracetamol/acetaminophen overdose. Side effects are very minimal. Only one ive heard is it may cause blood pressure increase in peripheral arteries or something along those lines. I think it's worth a try.

>>9614 How much time do you spend on it? It's pretty normal to spend a lot of time on it at 19. If you're spending a lot of time for one fap, a coping mechanism might be to just force yourself to orgasm quickly to satiate the urge. That may be more practical than chemically killing your libido.
