friend gave me some LSD, what am I in for? Do I put the colourful part on my tongue or the plain cardboard part? How long do I leave it on for?

put it on your tongue on whatever side and just leave it on there for as long as you can. i know this is none of my business, but word to the wise: don't trip alone until you're experienced. that's just asking for a bad trip. and trust me on this, you do NOT want to be experiencing a bad trip while you're alone. that's a special kind of hell. but have fun lain

It makes no difference, holding a tab under your tongue a cultural meme, you can just as well swallow it or put it up your ass. There's a small footnote that holding it on your tongue can give some reassurance you've got the real thing; lsd should be completely tasteless while some common drugs people try to sell as acid like 2cb are noticeably bitter. That's no guarantee though, it could still be some weird RC.
