Is DXM interesting or any good?

It's worth trying out. It's definitely a unique experience as it's a dissociative. However, downing a whole bottle of pills just to trip feels dirty and the dirty feeling doesn't really go away. Also, you can pretty bad nausea on it. If you're going to do it, eat something a few hours before, drink a lot of water with the pills, and ==make sure there is only DXM in the medicine; acetamophin, guaifenesin, and anything else besides DXM will at the very least make you feel like soykaf and at the very worst outright kill you.==

dissociatives to me are the funnest and most interesting ones, ive done the RCs, MXE, K, dxm etc. dxm tends to be dirtier than the rest but in murica it's the only accessible one i always had fun on dxm, id take about 1000 mg and just be in wonderland. it was like a dream state that felt like i was living my dream out. there was one where i had felt like i was ported back to 8 years old and was at a circus. everything was talking in that circusy "fun" voice. there's also usually a truman show effect that can get weird if you play into it but the dissociative euphoria usually stops you from going down the rabbit hole. it takes higher doses but dissociatives give an astounding effect in that they drop your 1st person perspective and when your thoughts come up it can feel like looking at them in a truer 3rd person perspective pro tips: get the robotabs, not the syrups. they're clean af and digest easy find a dxm plateau calculator, try midrange of 2 and 3 caffeine with it will send your heart to 160 bpm, you just wont feel it if you binge dose, you'll find yourself unable to piss for hours. dont do it. ginger is the best for nausea altho the nausea is mostly from the syrups milk washes out the dxm taste if you still decide to use syrups dxm is an SSRI, be aware of that when it comes to interactions

DXM caused me to have rampant depersonalization problems that still persist to this day, i last used dxm like two years ago.. it's fun while it lasts but it's not worth the risk in my opinion

Now I have this persistent sort of cloud over my thoughts, it takes me longer to think and react to stimuli than it used to, and it heavily exacerbated the symptoms of my other unrelated mental disorders. Extreme paranoia and an unshakeable feeling that we live in the Matrix aren't fun. tl;dr it's honestly a great experience and I would definitely recommend trying it at least once. Do proper research, lookup a dose calculator, check to see if it would conflict with any meds you're currently taking, etc. But I would definitely take extremely long breaks between trips if I were in your shoes.

I've never taken enough for a full trip, but I used to take several times the "max dose" (according to the medicine label) of dxm and of dph at the same time in an ignorant attempt to fight insomnia. I generally felt miserable, paranoid, and disconnected, but I was usually very sleep deprived which definitely contributed to how awful I felt. Sometimes I had minor visual hallucinations like brief instances of shadow people or insects crawling around. Sometimes I would go on walks a couple of hours after taking them if I felt like it was going to be impossible to fall asleep. Sometimes it was nice. Mostly it was unsettling, but sometimes that unsettling feeling was nice. There was a forest trail near my apartment I liked going through at night because it would feel scary and shadow creatures would form in the branches. I don't recommend it. I think it had a negative effect on my personality. And since I didn't know at the time that dxm and dph were dissociatives and deliriants, I was worried I was schrizophrenic. Now I know I'm just a dumbass who should have googled the medicine instead of assuming over-the-counter meant safe.

I have a theory that the real original intention of DXM was something more insidious, as this soykaf is by far one of the most potent psychs I've taken outside of DMT and LSD in the right setting. It feels dark, like some sort of veil of nostalgia coats everything and gives one insight to forbidden realms. Its pretty psychologically addictive if you go into it with the right mindset and with the right intention. I used to dose for years and did extensive research on its effects from my perspective, and utilized psychosomatic ritual combined with Jungian theory of consciousness to do some seriously deep work to rewire and reinvent myself. Outside of utilizing it for this purpose, and only for the high, is a deep hole. I think this chemical was created initially as some sort of cheap imitiation psych or possibly as some sort of MKUltra soykaf, as one's own personality becomes malleable to the point of reprogramming, as I did to myself mentioned above. Be very careful with this stuff, and I highly suggest you get the pure robocough or the powdered stuff from china. the purer the better, as the excessive sugars and other additives can wreck havoc on your pancreas.

It's fun but it feels "dirty." IMO Ket is probably better but it's hard to get compared to dex.

~Wanted to share~ Please be careful. Someone I love dearly destroyed their life abusing DXM. It was the most horrible thing I have ever witnessed and I would not wish that suffering on anyone.

I personally like it a lot. Cheap and legal PCP basically. If you've had 3-MeO-PCP it's pretty similar, just more sedating. It's worth checking out, just get robotabs off of Amazon. Don't bother with the syrup, it's fuarrrking awful. You will most likely either love or hate DXM.

I wonder how it mixes with psychs, for example LSD? Googling does not bring much info, few people who done this combination are saying its really really fuarrrked up, i wonder if its dangerous

This thread is kinda old but yeah I don't recommend it in general. I get that people are into being a true psychonaut and trying everything, but sometimes the experience is boring and sucky. DXM is that experience.

It feels soykafty physically, but mentally you can get into some heavy oobe, ego loss soykaf with that, probably easier than with psychs, because its less stimmy and less chance of bad trip. Trip is weird tho, you feel retarded in some way, like not quite there, or like no longer human
