hey lainons, what do you think about it, are electronic cigarettes really much more harmless than classic cigarettes, can you give me reasons for that, and what do you think about this study, it's funny that you didn't notice it in the news.

I mean, based on everything I've read including the article you've linked, yes it's evidently less harmful than cigs. Is it actually safe though? Idk, doesn't seem like it.

It depends what the parts are made of and if there are any additives in the liquids. Should only use ceramic and glass elements not plastic and heavy metals and there should be nothing like acetyl e acetate and the like in the liquids. Nicotine by itself is less addictive and less harmful than tobacco.

Even just extreme heat has a deleterious effect on you long-term.
Esophageal cancer rates are much higher in Mate-loving regions of South America for example. But fuarrrk it dude you're going to die anyways.

Its not really news worthy, vapes have been seen as the less harmful version of cigarettes for a while and a fair few countries healthcare systems actually reccomend using e-cigs to wean yourself off cigarettes and nicotine.
But it makes sense, what is going to be worse for your lungs hot water vapour with substances in it or smoke, hot combustion products and the same substances? Its obvious that the vape is going to be less bad for your lungs, not good for you but not as bad as cigarettes.
From what I've seen certain behaviours with vapes may be more harmful to your lungs but that generally requires misuing them and you might as well class cold water as being more harmful because you will die if you pour it into your lungs.

Yes there has been studies drinking hot drinks leads to increased throat cancer rates. I assume from it being too hot not from just being hot. Probably causes tissue damage. So a vape should ideally not be too hot. Makes me wonder why they don't just use sonic vaporizing tech more. Terrible logic you have there though because just because something may increase cancer risk doesn't mean everything is equally harmful.

Probably because of cost, most people won't buy a more expensive but marginally safer vape.

My doctor said I should switch back to smoking joints and ditch the THC vape pen.
I think she's being paid off by the rolling paper lobby...
My carts aren't black market, so I hopefully won't keel over and die as quickly.

Or maybe because a sonic vaporizer would make a little noise?

It's possibly because it more often contains acetyl e acetate which has a yellow colour or because you're using something cheap with a metal heating element. Get a dry herb vapourizer with ceramic or glass parts and make sure your cannabis is grown without pesticides then you will be sure you aren't getting crap you don't want added in. Though you'd stilll have some possible risk from mold in such case but not worse than a joint.

>acetyl e acetate
You mean vitamin e acetate. Acetyl e acetate isn't a thing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_E_acetate https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019%E2%80%932020_vaping_lung_illness_outbreak

I may be jumbling words in my mind but that's what I was talking about, yes.
