How do I get my hands on weed?

Hey, so I've never actually done any drugs aside from drinking alcohol, and I'm considering trying out weed just for fun. But the problem is, I have no fuarrrking idea where to start. I don't know anyone that smokes or deals it, so is going to a .onion market a good idea or is that a soykafty meme that will get me caught (I live in a US state where weed isn't legal but like nobody gives a fuarrrk anyways)? I wouldn't wanna try out drugs that could seriously harm me, as well. Sorry if this post is cringey/hard to read but I'm pretty interested in trying weed.

literally just go out on a busy street at night and ask someone who looks like they would have weed. Don't keep too much cash on you. Buy 1/8 an ounce (called an "eighth") and expect to pay $20-$40 in cash. I've scored before this way, one time a guy handed me a joint to impress some girls.

Easiest is just wait till you're on a trip to somewhere it's legal.

I quit myself and just have CBD capsules. to be honest dont bother, it turns most people into losers and even if you have a bad time with it, it strangely pulls you back. I think I was just craving whatever the CBD gives me.
