DXM and alcohol are both NMDA receptor antagonists. Not good idea to mix. NMDA receptors are involved in memory.

I have another question related to DXM. I have a 40mg Vyvanse prescription I take Tuesday - Saturday for work. How long should I stay off my medication before I can safely take DXM? And would it be ok to start taking my meds again the day after?

>>5395 the only real risk you're running here is that you might have negative thought loops / anxiety during your trip if you're still stimulated. if you just skip your dose that day you should be fine. the interaction between them isn't physically unsafe so just see how you feel the next morning.

>>5396 Thanks Lainon, I did some more research on Reddit's DXM community and a few medical sites, they said that mixing DXM and stims is very strenuous on the heart, mixing the two would be physically unsafe. Some have reported that stims have no long-term affects, and its ok to take DXM as long as the affects of the stims have worn off. Skipping your meds the day you take it is fine, however if you want to be 100% safe and have no interference at all, you need to wait out the stimulant's half-life (which is about 3 days). Its only necessary to wait that long if you took a pretty high dose, as ADHD medications affects the serotonin in your brain, high serotonin and DXM will fuarrrk you up. I know I'm overthinking this, but it took me a while to find all this info and I want to pass it on to others

my friend wants to try shrooms, how do i stop/help her? she does not now her dose, has no idea about set/setting, her dealer is sketchy as fuarrrk, also she is very immature imo (she is barely 15) she barely tried weed before, seems to handle it reasonably well tho do i tell her to not take them at all at the risk of her eating them anyways and having a bad time or do i tell her to do some research and try low doses first i also could let the mushrooms teach her that drugs are to be respected maybe im overthinking, i would apprediate some input

After taking MDx, you have a serotonin deficiency for a while right? Are there any drugs that do the opposite; making you depressed for a few hours and then you have a serotonin surplus for a while afterwards?

Naturally, I assume that it depends on the person, but how long would it take the average person to lose their tolerance to tramadol if they went cold turkey? Not dependent, but taken 250mg about 3 times in the past 2 weeks. Already can feel resistance building.

It is an SNRI in addition to being an opiate, so if you take too much you risk seizures (iirc 400mg+, but check me on that before you go eating 399mg). Also means that if you try and withdraw cold turkey you may risk seizures, need to taper very slowly.

I took 200mg daily for over a year. in that situation, I took about 3 weeks to taper off without discomfort. Cold turkey would have been absolutely brutal. There are a lot of 'horror stories' about tramadol addiction: those people are so stupid, it's amazing that people are just too fuarrrking dumb to taper. It's been over a year since I've had any tramadol now and I really miss it, although I feel pretty good to an improved life situation in a different country with no access to drugs. Such a nice drug. Some people say they hardly feel anything on it so I must have the right brain chemistry since it gives me a long-lasting high that's good even compared to oxy. It's like an antidepressant that actually works and leaves me functional.

You need to consume a MAOI for DMT to be active orally, otherwise the MAO in your gut will neutralize it. DON'T TAKE AN MAOI WITH ALCOHOL! Besides, if you consume alcohol before smoking DMT, you run the risk of choking on your own vomit. Plus DMT already depresses the respiratory system, you don't want to consume anything else that does that too. fuarrrking lainons want to get themselves killed, jesus.
