So, what did you want to talk about?

I mean, I'm pretty much of the same opinion, but I think one could put it a bit More delicately.
One thing to consider about transitioning is the significant increase in sudoku rates - either due to internal conflicts or external social issues.
But I guess the question really boils down to his personal motives for transitioning. It's his body and his choice after all.
Judge Fang · 2019-08-11 01:16
How much HRT do I need to take to get wasted?
Cereal Killer · 2019-08-11 03:20
Care to detail your personal case as to why you want this discussion? Also what aspects are you wanting to discuss first?

This meme about suicide rates increasing after transition is just that, a meme.
Agent Jones · 2019-08-11 18:57
>>4118
Exactly. Suicide rates are higher for trans people both pre- and post- op. It just is like kicking dead whales down the beach to have body dysmorphia in general. I think they deserve a break.

There are some interesting ways to intake E like subcutaneous implants, and injections. didn't know if anybody knew obscure ways of administration.I have sublingually taken E for 2 years, the only real downside is the frequency at witch you have to take the pills. If anybody else has dabbled in hormone altering drugs, I would love to hear how your experience was.

There is hard data about it though, what are you smoking.
I feel like some of these threads are tactically pushed on chan culture and community for their likeness to draw in mentally unstable controllable people.

I only have second hand experience. I have a MtF friend who went on hormones and I can't say it helped their livelihood. Things only became harder it seemed even though a sense of accomplishment was there. Breasts developed but there was a lot of weight gain which I am not sure if it's related to hormones or a poor mental state or an intentional decision in some sort of attempt to speed up feminization but I couldn't see how that much weight was put on in only about a year or two. I had also noticed blemishes which never seemed to be a problem before HRT to my knowledge. I can't be sure if it's from the HRT or from a possible change in diet but I doubt it's purely dietary. It was a subject I avoided so I tried to not ask too many questions. My friend I have not heard from in a long time and I assume the worst may have happened.
A MtF I know online spoke of a near complete loss of sexual arousal.

Most MtF people I know don't have that problem, your sexuality may change in some ways. also some are ase. All people are different.

There is not reliable data to support your claim. Keyword: reliable. Your claim that there's a conspiracy to recruit people from imageboards is amusing though.

it wasn't a conspiracy for r9k a year or so ago lmao

I dont really understand why you think HRT medications are any different than most other pharma products.

Reduction in libido and erectile dysfunction are common enough in hormone feminization that it's considered a side effect. The exact rate it occurs I am not sure but there is plenty of scientific papers on the role of hormones and sex drive and sexual function that can be looked at.
Junichi Fujiwara · 2019-08-13 13:51
there doesn't seem to be any useful use for it outside of women going through menopause and people with hormone imbalances.
transsexual people using it just seems like an extreme solution, especially since the effects are not reversibile as people think they are.

I have never seen a tranny who lives in a rural area. Tells you more about effects of overcrowded cities than anything. Don't chop off your dick, try to escape city. You will never have retarded ideas of being a tranny ever. It's all effects of behavioral sink. I repeat, your problem comes from either a city or perhaps you were molested as a child or something. Trannies are mentally ill people that should consider actually solving their problems than going on extreme measures and killing off their manhood.
Emmanuel · 2019-08-13 20:34

I think the more likely explanation is that HRT is just hard to get in rural areas, and trans people are also less accepted there, so a lot of them either move to a city for both of those reasons, or try to suppress their feelings of being trans because they know no one will accept them.
There's also the fact that trans people are such a small percentage of the population that plenty of people go their entire lives without ever meeting one at all, no matter where they live.

hrt isnt hard to get though, plenty of people order it online without a prescription
Lord Nikon · 2019-08-14 05:51

Depends on what drugs or hormones are used. They can have different effects and while permanent it's not always something noticeable.
>>4143
Internet access isn't as available in rural areas either. I literally have to pay like 100$ a month for soykafty satellite internet.
HELIOS · 2019-08-14 06:55

This should be repeated often so that people who are unsure of themselves know that the ideology of gender dysphoria being representative of some "true" internal self is just that: a viewpoint that people push for self-serving measures that has no bearing on reality.
It is another part of the human that is being commoditized and sold off. "You too can be a beautiful woman so long as you buy these drugs and body parts".
Women are beautiful because it is a signal of health and fertility. Trans will never be beautiful because they are neither of these. Even if they recreate current appearances exactly the definition of beauty will shift over time until it is again a reliable indicator of health and fertility.

i guess reduced bone mass and increased risks for heart attacks aren't noticable, makes sense!
i'm not even going to bother getting into the whole testosterone and estrogen side effects. cross sex hormone therapy is full of risks and actually hurts people. its really unnecessary.
Void · 2019-08-14 20:07
>>4139
You have it all backwards. People with those tendencies leave small towns and rural areas behind because they don't fit in there. They can be the one person in the county like them and deal with people with attitudes like your own every day or they can move somewhere that they might find others like them.
> try to escape city
Right, people who already feel alienated and misunderstood will be welcomed with open arms in your little village? No one reading this thread believes that.
Lunch · 2019-08-14 22:03
OP here.
I was able to get MtF hormones easily in 4+ states in the city, and the country. However every state is different and trans rights aren't federal yet :/
>>4120
from what I have seen most suicide is due to not being accepted by society. I'm sure other people have different experiences, that's just mine.
>>4136
were on /drg/ policing what drugs people can take and when wont stop them.
>>4148
the heart attacks are mostly if you just swallow your pills. If you consume them sublingualy, or inject, it mitigates that. Osteoporosis can be a problem, which is why it's recommended to eat calcium in your diet.
>>4131
your libido changes, but doesn't disappear, it's just reduced/different.
>>4139
>>4149
Also the point of this thread was to talk about the physical effects, and different ways of taking HRT. I don't really care about debating politics/ethics.
if you don''t like people taking HRT there is probably nothing I can say to change your mind anyway.
Also no I was never molested.I agree with you though, I don't really believe in a "true" internal self before or after transition, at least for me. I was raised as a "boy" but that social role didn't fit me. So I decided to take meds to give me secondary sex characteristics.I Live as woman now, I enjoy the roles of a woman and living that way. That is why I call myself a woman.

You don't get to advocate for impressionable people self-harming themselves without others around disagreeing and calling you an asshole.
Unless you are capable of having children and raising a family then you are not following the "roles of a women", you are a sad sexist caricature.
