Do any of you know how long it takes to really go down to baseline after you stop taking opiates or if anything can be done to make it happen faster? I'm using kratom almost exclusively now, but my tolerance to "normal" opiates is fairly high too. I recently took 50 mg oxycodone by insufflation and that was a med-level recreational dose. Been using opies in various forms for about 15 years.

>time to baseline tolerance
Uncertain, but a long time if you were a heavy user once. iirc you will likely have some level of permatolerance if you went hard enough for long enough.
>drop tolerance faster
I've heard on 420chan that microdosing dissociative (usually DXM) helps to prevent tolerance buildup and enhance effects (consume 15-45mg 2-3 hours before dosing). I doubt that would help reduce tolerance on it's own though.

for opiates? i thought nmda antagonists only reversed stim tolerance?

Works for most drugs which produce tolerance - https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdf/10.1111/j.1527-3458.1999.tb00096.x
Which makes sense when you think about it; NMDA is involved in learning and memory, tolerance utilizes learning/memory, NMDA antagonism counteracts that.
