I was wondering about the effects of chewing cocoa leaves as a substitute for a morning cup of joe. I reckon it probably has a lot less of an effect than pure cocaine. And where would an American acquire some cocoa seeds so I could grow my own, in Minecraft.

>>3520 Pros and Cons >Anesthesia The first effects felt when chewing the coca leaf are an intense anesthetic feeling in the mouth, throat and tongue. This is why many chew it to relieve minor pains, such as head-, tooth- or backaches. Sufferers of arthritis are relieved of most symptoms after chewing coca leaves. >Oxygenation Chewing the coca leaf causes oxygen to be absorbed by the bloodstream more readily. This helps the farmers far up in the Andes overcome altitude sickness, which is caused by the low oxygen content of air in extremely high altitudes. >Stimulation The coca leaf by itself is a rather mild stimulant, something like coffee. It also acts to suppress hunger and thirst. The stimulant is enough to overcome fatigue. >Nutrients The coca leaf contains vitamins and minerals. It has been found to contain iron, vitamins A, B1 and B2, calcium and other nutrients. >Oxidized Teeth The active alkaloids cause the frequent coca leaf chewer to maintain incredibly white teeth. The same oxidization that is responsible for overcoming high-altitude sickness also keeps the teeth pearly white. Until, that is, the user’s protective enamel is eroded off completely, causing the teeth to rot out. You can buy them online for landscaping purposes.

Can you order enough to chew it on a regular basis legally? Also I think they're just called coca leaves.

Coca isn't really something that's easy to get your hands on in the US as far as I'm aware. There are legal stims out there that could fit the bill such as modafinil analogues, benzedrex inhalers and racetams. Really I'd recommend going with the benzedrex and extracting the propylhexedrine from the cotton. This can be done crudely with lemon juice or soda. Unfortunately this method isn't going to yield accurate dosages but you can titrate the dose by splitting the cotton into halves or quarters. If you choose to go down this route you should know that propylhexedrine is one hell of a vasoconstrictior and is probably pretty neurotoxic. Both can be mediated by supplements i.e antioxidants like melatonin and vasodilators like theobromine. Both compounds can be bought legally over the internet. Don't use more than once or twice a month and you'll be golden.

>>3520 Dude I dunno if you really could use cocaine as a nootropic. I would recommend doing small doses of amphetamine or methamphetamine instead.
Lunch · 2019-04-23 15:29
>>3660 No not at all. It's a decent legal stim when used in moderation.
Agent Smith · 2019-04-24 17:11
>>3661 cocaine is probably the best nootropic there is >>3662 looked more into, seems like its just a less-soykaf version of meth. You kind of alarmed me when you said it was a neurotoxin.

>>3521 >Officer it's not what it looks like, I chew on them to help my pain and give me some energy. Yeah, good luck if you live in europe or the US.
Spooky · 2019-04-24 21:35
>>3520 Oh yeah cocoa leaves are the soykaf, mix them with some baking soda and stick them in your gums ground up. Actually coke is 0/10, dangerous, or impossible to get the dangerous soykaf and is 7/10ths amphetamine. Gross gross gross gross I had scabs in my nose for over a month when i stopped occasional use <1g month

>>3658 >There are legal stims out there that could fit the bill such as modafinil analogues, benzedrex inhalers and racetams Or just use nicotine.

>>3676 He's asking about the leaves, not cocaine. Pretty much everyone in Bolivia chews coca, and they're fine.
fsociety · 2019-04-25 20:53
>>3678 Nicotine doesn't really compare to benzedrex or modafinil. It's probably better than racetams though.

Dr. X · 2019-04-28 01:39
>>3696 Khat is scheduled in the US but I wouldn't be surprised if there were vendors in large cities. If you could get your hands on some seeds and you lived in the southwest you might be able to grow your own. At that point it might just be easier and more economical to synthesize methcathinone but I have no experience in that area so I don't really know for sure.

Koichiro · 2019-05-03 23:53
>>3717 I know some people who dip their cigs in embalming fluid. not less dangerous but more common to come across. you could also always use hash oil or something but at that point just smoke weed.

>>3521 holy soykaf lameAnon that sounds like a wonderful plant! i frankly am sick of the deep bitterness of roasted coffee (my kidneys are going out) and have been searching for something more minty. cocoa is in the mint family, is it not? im assuming it is frost tolerant, right?
H.R. Giger · 2020-04-15 14:23
How unusual. Coca leaves are perfectly legal and acceptable to buy in Bolivia and the tea is legal in other parts of South America. As weed becomes more popular and legal in the US, perhaps coca leaves will as well. I absolutely condemn cocaine use but the leaves seem like healthy and potentially beneficial.
Jet Black · 2020-04-18 08:14
Wish it wouldn't be so hard to get in western Europe. Closest product you find is cut coke from nightclubs.
