I want to share my history and ask you guys questions. >took 2mg of diazepam once weekly last year; no issues >doc says they don't want to give me more diazepam because dangerous, is fine with klonopin (wut) >start taking .5mg klonopin once weekly and am aware of longer half life >slowly start feeling emotionally fuarrrked up but don't really think of kpin as culprit because low dose >anxiety disorders really flare up big time >taking .5mg 2-3 times a week >when i stop i get really fuarrrked up emotionally for a few days about a week after last dose >stop with little issue >try ssri >panic attack >"fuarrrk alright" takes a kpin to end panic >back at 2-3 times weekly >decide to stop on a sunday (two weeks ago actually) >prepare for soykaf show, but have 3 drinks wednesday night (thought 72 hours would be enough) >symptoms of stopping kpin come early >new symptoms; some head pain, spacey feeling in head and eyes that feels kinda like dissociating very slightly >feeling has lasted for a week and a half and is freaking me out How long before kpin doses ACTUALLY overlap? I know there's a long half life, but I'm not sure how it works and know it's different for each benzo. Could it have interacted with the alcohol at 72 hours out? Don't get feelings like this from either taking a benzo or drinking typically :( Anyone have experience with the spacey feeling I mentioned? It's making me want to dose klonopin again to reset things but feel like that's a dumb idea and an excuse. Sorry for whining but I'm just scared. I'm very sensitive to medicine/drugs in general and am not surprised to be having these reaction from smaller doses. Might take a kpin tonight to try and get these spacey feeling to go away as I'm almost positive they're anxiety related.

You should really talk to your doctor about trying something other than kpin or diazepam. Until then you should really stop taking kpins or get on them and prepare for a proper withdrawal when you get back to your old schedule, which would be miserable so you should probably just stop. Remember, reseting by taking a kpin means reseting how long you have to wait to feel normal

>>3386 Thanks for the advice, Lain. Between the benzo use and the drinks something happened and I was slipping back into a major depressive episode with dpdr symptoms, it was pretty scary. I was desperate and started taking the ssri again and it kind of pulled me up out of the crazy soykaf I was experiencing and has actually had a very positive impact on my mood and it made those withdrawal symptoms I was having much more manageable. Hoping things stay on course, but I feel relatively good for the first time in years.

>>3404 Glad to hear youre doing better! SSRIs are underrated as fuarrrk on the internet, I found them almost as effective as dissociatives for depression and unlike dissociatves they havent been ruining my life.

Dont underestimate these things. They are the worst to come off. Just stop entirely before you cant.
